Can Tho Restaurant

Heard from a family friend that this place reopened under a new owner and wanted to see what this place was like. I was immediately greeted and seated by the waitresses and I asked for their recommendation on seafood. They told me that everyone has been ordering their oysters so I had to give it a try and it was fresh and delicious! Cheap beers, good food, and good service. I would come back again!

I would give this restaurant half a star if I could ... for good fried rice. Have you ever seen a waitress yanking a microphone out of customer's hand with an angry face, not 1 time... but 2 times? Hello!!! Your restaurant is quan nhậu with KARAOKE. Don't customers be given a priority to sing FIRST? We also did put our names on waiting list out of consideration for other patrons. This waitress just so fed up that she wanted to sing as much as my friend did. Soon my friend turned to sing, she came up to the stage, yanked the microphone out of my friend's hand and started singing. Not only that, she gave us a dirty look when passing by our table. This waitress should be fired!!!Foods are not as good as other nhậu places. And the prices are not cheap. We are a group of 4 people and our bill came out close to $200. Would we come back? .... No way!!!! There are other nhậu places that are much better in foods, price and customers service than Can Tho.

A group of us came here for the first time since we all love to nhậu. The atmosphere was similar to other karaoke restaurants. The food needs some major changes. We ordered chicken cabbage with fish sauce and it was full of bones and skins. It was dark in the restaurant so digging out the skins and bones was a challenge. The tamarind quail was tiny and was not sour enough. There were not too many beer selections but the price made up for it. One of the girls came to ask how the food was and we gave her the feedback. She just gave us a smirk and walked away! Why bother asking?My biggest complaint was the staff. One of the girls who worked there gave herself the priority to sing whenever she wants and as much as she wants without putting her name on the list. My friend went up and sang a few times based on the list and she came up the stage, yanked the microphone and said to give others a turn. Had those people wanted to sing, they should put themselves on the list like we did. The worst part is she went up there and sang just as much as my friend. I think customers should have the priority to sing as much as they want and employees can only do so if there are no customers in line. Worst of all, she had a bad attitude and acted as if it was her restaurant. Lastly, check your receipts. They charged us for 10 beers when we drank only 5. They did not check their buckets to see how many were left. I went up to the owner and told her what happened. She was very nice and I hope that she takes my feedback and makes some changes.

Had to come back to this place for this, one of my favorite dishes to get here if you're feeling some steak skewers. DOES NOT DISAPPOINT!!! And they're bucket deal is one of the best in the city. Highly recommend this place, drove all the way from Riverside just to come here and the service is one of the best I've in town they make sure you're never waiting too long to be helped with servers constantly walking around to help out with any thing and the vibes with the lights around the restaurants that plays with the beat of the music fits really well with the restaurant.
