California Vintage Wine Bistro

This is a newer restaurant in the area, and I think they they've done a fantastic job. It has great atmosphere, great service, and I didn't have a single complaint about the food. I was in town for MD&M. This is only a couple of miles away and had no wait. I'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend.

Food was great, service was wonderful and felt personal. Genuine hospitality. We had the Brussels sprouts, tomato salad, fried chicken, truffle fries, and dessert platter. They do wine flights, and prices were reasonable. Great spot for a date night!

Last night, I found myself at California Vintage Wine Bistro, and let me tell you, it was a vibe! The owner, truly a gem, crafted a personalized wine flight for me--each sip felt like a warm embrace. My friend and I celebrated a very early birthday with a slice of their delectable cheesecake.If you're searching for a relaxing spot to unwind and enjoy some quality wine, this bistro is the place to be. For my Orange County Friends, we have a new restaurant find, and it's a good one!If you haven't been to California Vintage Wine Bistro yet, this is a chance before you can't get a reservation. Last Saturday, this place ruined all other restaurants for me.May I share why? First, the Caesar salad. You're probably thinking, "It's a salad; how exciting can it be?" Well, let me tell you, this was no ordinary salad. The greens were so crisp they practically crunched back at me, and the dressing? Pure magic. If all salads tasted like this, I'd eat vegetables more often.Next up is the shrimp cocktail. Those shrimp were thick--like, "spent hours in the gym working on their gains" thick. They were perfectly cooked and served with a delicious cocktail sauce that I considered licking the bowl. (But, I minded my manners.)Now, for the main event: the grilled flat iron steak au poivre. This steak wasn't just food--it was an experience. Juicy, tender, peppery, and cooked so perfectly, it probably has a side hustle teaching other steaks how to live their best lives. It was hands-down the best steak I've had in a while, and I'm still thinking about it. For dessert, we indulged in their homemade sweets, which were a perfect way to end the night. Warm chocolate chip cookies and ice cream were devoured.Oh, and the wine? Their selection is a sommelier's dream, but it is also perfect for those who just want something delicious to sip without knowing what "notes of cherry" mean. The vibe is relaxed but fancy enough that you feel a little extra fabulous just sitting there.California Vintage Wine Bistro, which opened last November, is where your taste buds go to celebrate, your Instagram gets a glow-up, and you feel like you just had dinner with a culinary genius. Came here to celebrate Valentine's Day with my partner and was blown away by the incredible hospitality. This new bistro opened up back in Nov 2024 and is the cutest and coziest spot. Their prix fixe menu included a tomato burrata salad, crab cakes, filet, sorbettos, and more. My favorite item of the whole night was their tomato burrata salad. I could eat a whole bowl of that! This spot is definitely a great date night spot either with your partner or some girlfriends. It's located as part of an apartment complex with tons of parking spaces in the retail level. Shoutout to our server who was super sweet and check in on us throughout our dinner.

After months of construction I was informed the other day that they going to have their soft opening this coming Thursday November 7th at 4:00 pm.Be there or be square!! Cheers

This place is a not-so hidden gem that deserves every bit of praise! The food is phenomenal and made fresh to order with thoughtful flavors from a culinary team who truly cares about what's on your plate. I'm not paid to write this- I'm just good with words! Ernest, the owner, was the star of the night! He knows his wines, and he takes the time to get to know you! We are amateurs when it comes to wines, and honestly, I usually get heartburn, but everything we had was so smooth and delicious! Ernest has made me a wino!! Parking was easy for a Friday night, the lighting was moody but bright enough to read the menu. The ambience was relaxed but classy, with good music that kept the vibe going until closing. We will definitely be regulars! Cannot recommend this place enough!

Options abound in a tidy and tastefully decorated space with tall tables and lots of TVs. We tried the chicken karage, hummus, truffle fries, and the Brussels sprouts. Each dish was delicious, and they all had a nice touch to elevate above and beyond the typical bar fare. Service was prompt and friendly. We will be going back.We visited on a random weekday afternoon so the place was fairly quiet. I can imagine this place as a great pre-game stop before a Ducks or Angels game.

Awesome find! Great food, wine and service. Cool, welcoming environment. Great chill music. Free and convenient garage parking in the rear. This is now my go to place.

This wine bar is an absolute gem! Great selection of wine. My friend and I enjoyed champagne and rosè. The wagyu sliders are a must have! Our server was friendly and made great drink and food suggestions. Highly recommend!!
