California Teriyaki Grill

We were out in the City of Orange getting a set of 4 new tires for my daughters car. We were so glad that we used Yelp app to find California Teriyak.i We had worked-up a good appetite and this place fit the bill. The service was a fast food style ordered at the front counter and our ordered was called by a number.Our ordered the Salmon Teriyaki Combo and my daughter ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Combo, both had good flavors and we would definitely stopped by if we are in the area.Is a casual ambience-fast food. The place is keeped clean and they have several tables and a T.V to watch sports or the news.I would say this place has lots of clients from people working around the area.When we came in here it was busy with people getting take out I would say just getting of work just saying bc of their uniforms.Is located accross the street from Home Depot.

I had just finished work and was starving for flame broiler but was pretty tired of eating flame broiler. The food came out fast and hit right. Perfect spot for a fast work lunch that is filling but not too heavy. I got the salmon bento. It was way too much food for me, but allowed me try a little bit of everything. Ca roll, shrimp tempura, gyoza, veggies, and, of course, salmon teriyaki with white rice. Everything was fresh and well made. The salmon stood out. They put a dry rub, optional sesame seeds, and some teriyaki sauce, but not too much teriyaki sauce. (I hate it when restaurants put too much teriyaki sauce.) Probably the best salmon teriyaki I've had yet. The ambience was a fast food type of place. Very clean and easy going. The warm orange colored walls and friendly staff were very welcoming. The outside seating was super comfy. Parking was pretty easy too.

If anyone is in the area you guys need to stop by at Cali Teriyaki Grill next to Boot Barn. The food portions are great and the staff is very friendly. They make you feel welcomed from the moment you step in to the business to the moment you walk out the door with a smile. If that ain't the best customer service then I don't know what is. Come try them out and see for yourself! Will definitely be back when I'm in the area for lunch. Thanks guys!

Hands down the best Teriyaki plates around. I have spots closer to my house but The don't compare. The rib plates are a must...Trust!

Please trust me when I say this: I'm a Teriyaki chicken Connoisseur.As a fitness trainer I struggle all the time with finding and recommending a place to have a delicious healthy lunch. However, my prayers were answered when I discovered this spot.I work closer to other teriyaki restaurants but drive the extra mile to come here because it is unmatched.Truthfully, whenever I go anywhere to eat I don't ever care much about the service so long as the food is good. But I'm amazed at the service here. Anita, who works at the cash register, is the friendliest person who makes stopping by here that much more fun. Everyone who eats there frequently loves Anita!Liliana, another cashier, remembers everyone's names, orders, and even recognizes your voice when you call for an order. Which truly does make this place THAT much better knowing the people who make your food actually care about you. Plus, she always keeps her composure even when the line gets long during lunch hour.But don't let the long line scare you into not trying this place out. The cooks here are fast without lowering the quality of the meat.The portions are perfect. The sauce is way different than any other competitors. The rice is sticky just like how I love it.I've been consistently coming here for 4 years 2-3x a week.I come here for cheat days sometimes too lol.My only complaint is they're closed on Sundays. But probably a good thing because I spend waaaay too much money here.

Food - yakky and pricyService - dishonest perhaps the owner herself. Asked for water gave me a cup for soda. When I said I only asked to for cup of water, she already charged $ 2.49. For two bowls - yakky veggie bowl and beef bowl = $ 27.97That's price gouging! why people got duped with ordinary food
