Rushed in at the last minute. Matthew helped me with a smile and the team served us delicious food. Would recommend this place all the time.

This place is one of my favorite place I always have a big experience with this food and today we meet Matthew in this location and he was very friendly with us actually everybody very friendly and very nice service. I really really appreciate it.Thank you guys see you guys again

Was pleasantly surprised by my meal here! I ordered for pickup and it was ready in 7 minutes (quick!). There's a parking lot in front. I got the shrimp and avocado salad, without the feta, with the lime vinaigrette. The shrimp comes in a separate container from the salad which I thought was smart, so the leaves don't wilt. There was more shrimp than I expected which was a pleasant surprise. I thought the flavor of the shrimp was great, they were cooked well and overall I really enjoyed the salad and would definitely get it again. The only thing is that it comes with kale which is my least favorite green so that's the only thing I would consider swapping in the future, if there's another option. I also ordered a side of a shrimp skewer with Cajun seasoning- the shrimp was larger than the ones in the salad but I preferred the flavor of the ones in the salad. Overall, I really enjoyed the meal, the price was reasonable and you get a good portion of seafood which I appreciate. Great option when you're feeling something healthy. I know this is a chain so I'm looking forward to trying it again!

This place has so much potential! I really do enjoy some of the food here some of the time. The issues I have are with consistency and portion. Service is not great and not bad. The food if you order it in you have a better chance of getting better portions and quality. Just do not upgrade your side as the portions vs price do not add up. Getting your food on online to go is the worst option. I'm pretty responsible but the last few times it's been really bad. The dynamite shrimp was very rubbery and almost tasted like it was just about to go bad. The salmon sandwich has always been a go to. It has been tasting a lot more fishy a lot more smaller pieces of salmon that don't even fit the bun so you get a lot of bun and vegetable bites. It doesn't consistently have the same toppings either which is very strange and don't get me started on the portion of french fries add on for 1.99 and maybe get 12-15 fries. Drinks are over 3.00 and only one size. It's laughable to be honest. That's all worth it when the food and portions are comparable to the price you are paying. They really need to get it together! This is my last order. 2.00 worth of cold fries? They are lazy in the kitchen and lack discipline!

Food is always exceptional and the service was wonderful as well. Matthew came and checked on us during our meal and was so kind. We've been here before but hadn't received such great service as we had today with Matthew. We hope to run into him again

This is my go to place for an affordable and quick seafood dinner nearby my home. Parking can be a little bit tricky as they have limited spots in the plaza, sharing these spots with several businesses. Once inside there are two kiosks that you can order from, with a person standing there to help if you have any trouble with ordering. You enter your phone number and they will text you once your order is ready. This is the case for both take out and for dining in. After this, go snag yourself a table. I always order the catfish because it's my absolute favorite thing to get here. My husband got the branzino. I tried a bit of his branzino and it was really good. Perfectly cooked. The only negative was that I found two bones. I also tried his tomato and feta side, and was happily surprised when I liked it because I normally do not like tomatoes. Also, here's some key advice - ask for extra garlic butter! Sometimes the tables can still be a bit dirty from previous diners so you might have to wipe it yourself or flag someone down. However, most of the time I find that the tables are relatively clean. Overall, a nice little place to get a quick and easy bite to eat.

The branzino sea bass was grilled perfectly. The skin was crispy and the fish was flaky. The French fries were crisp and had flavorful light seasoning. The tomato feta was surprisingly good and tomatoes were fresh. To top it all off, the garlic butter sauce is a must have to drizzle over the entire plate.They've transitioned to a kiosk ordering system, which I like because there are pictures of the food items. The employees were nice and ambiance was casual.

My +1 and I enjoy the California Fish Grill and eat here fairly regularly. The place is easy to find, sharing a plaza with the Cambria Hotel and a few other eateries. Parking can get packed and the spots are small, but we've always been able to find a place to park.The food here is usually delicious, tasting fresh and well seasoned. My +1 usually enjoys the ahi poke bowl, which is a little spicy. However, one random time it came out so spicy she couldn't eat it, so we had to ask for some extra rice to dilute it. I almost always order the fish tacos, and they never disappoint. I've tried the regular fish battered and Cajun, and salmon with Cajun as well. They're all great. I ask for red or green salsa to add a little extra pop. I've also tried calamari and coconut shrimp. They're decent, though not exceptional.I gave the place 4 stars instead of 5 for a few reasons... I used to love the salsa/condiment bar, but it's been gone since COVID, so you have to ask for the extras and they don't even tell you what options they have. Also, if you have children, be prepared to spend $5 for an Uncrustable, which is pretty steep. Finally, the Men's restroom was changed to a gender neutral restroom (the women's is still there, however), which seemed to confuse at least one set of tourists.Overall a decent spot in a plaza with several decent chain options. We like to hit Yogurtland next door after we finish dinner!

I absolutely love the food here! I only did 4 stars cause it's not as nice as their Brea location but you definitely won't be disappointed in what you order. I always get the salmon (Cajun) or shrimp on the stick (half Cajun half garlic) with zucchini and tomato. The clam chowder soup is great also

I had avocado and shrimp salad to go! I loved that they gave 12 shrimps in a separate container. Kale was the lettuce used. My friend thought the shrimp was spicy but I loved it! Tacos are very flavorful. Fast options. So many to choose from. I will definitely be back. A gentleman helped us with the kiosk as was very friendly too!
