"Hidden gem with great food and great customer service.We have been coming here for about 8 years now and I don't see it stopping anytime soon. We always start off with the shrimp spring roll that comes with the sauce on the side that is amazing! But of course the star and what you came for is the Pho.Now in all honesty I'm not the biggest Pho phan I am more of a ramen fan but this place has changed my mind. My go to is the Pho house special. Now or $1 or so more you can get the large but honestly the regular size is more then enough. It comes out pretty fast but is always super hot and delicious. Perfect for those cold winter days.I recommend everyone come try this place out especially if you are a Pho fan, you will definitely become a repeat customer like my self."

This restaurant in garden grove serves dishes that are $9.99 and everything on their menu is delicious. My friends practically ordered half the menu and I needed to try all of them cuz I knew I'd want to go back. They serve dry noodles and soup noodles and appetizers. Service was excellent and very fast! I was more impressed with their noodle dishes versus their appetizers. I also had the green thai tea and tasted the herbal tea and both were good and would definitely get again. I'm already craving this place and will ask them to add extra quail eggs in my noodles."

"I was in Orange County for work today, and I always struggle finding healthy places to eat when I travel for work. I googled "healthy vegan food near me" and this place popped up. It was heaven sent! The moment I walked in, I saw healthy drinks that they sell at Erewhon and Whole Foods, so I knew right away this place was going to be good. A young employee named Christine helped me figure out what to order, as I asked for suggestions on something healthy and not fried. She was so sweet! The dish I ordered was light but very tasty. The tofu melted in your mouth. The shrimp was made out of a root vegetable. The flavors were delicious. I didn't feel bloated or heavy afterwards. I took some leftovers home (that's how good it was). She said there's a location in Reseda closer to where I live, and I hope it's just as yummy with a clean vibe.Will definitely be back and strongly recommend for anyone who wants delicious, healthy vegan food."

"I don't understand why this place is so highly rated. My friend and I ordered 2 bowls of Bun Mam. My bowl was brought out first. The broth wasn't hot enough and the fish was still raw because it hadn't completely thawed. I was so hungry that I left the fish and ate the meat and fish cake. The roast pork was very hard to chew . I had almost finished 1/2 my bowl but my friend's bowl still hadn't been brought out. Meanwhile, the two of us ordered 2 bowls of Bun Mam at the same time. And I reminded the waiter, my friend's bowl of Bun Mam was also brought out and the result wasn't any better than mine. The broth wasn't hot enough and the fish was raw like mine. After that, I had diarrhea all night. It was scary. Opening a restaurant requires a conscience and careful cooking to serve customers, otherwise no one will dare to come back to eat."

"Hanoi Old Quarter is a little spot I've been frequenting, that specializes in food from the regions of Northern Vietnam.Parking is great and plenty, but in the case you don't know where Hanoi Old quarter is located yet, the entrance is located in the back lot of The Mall of fortune (behind 85 Degree Bakery). The first time I came here, I really wanted Canh Bun Cha Ca but they were sold out! So I opted for the Bun Nem Cua Be ($15.95), which consists of fried crab meat spring rolls, served with rice vermicelli, fresh veggies and a sweet fish sauce. It was my first time trying this dish, but this is probably my go to, I've already reordered! I came back for the Canh Bun Cha Ca ($15.55), which is a savory tomato and crab based soup that has fish cake, morning glory herb, tofu and crispy fried shallots. I enjoyed their version of this dish very much, the broth definitely has depth and is very hearty. Another dish I would like to mention is the Banh Canh Tom Cua Cha Ca ($15.55), which is like a Vietnamese seafood and pork udon. I love a thick noodle, so I had to try. I really did enjoy Hanoi Old Quarter's play on this dish, because they do not skimp on the crab and it was a flavor bomb. I'm usually all over this dish, but was so hesitant to order it here because they make it slurry style (think of the texture of an egg drop soup). When I usually eat this dish, I prefer it more bone broth-y. Even then, I would reorder this, so that says a lot!my favorite drink here is Jasmine Green Tea with the special fruit jam ($5.95), so refreshing, subtly sweet and fragrant. I have tried the lemon and mango tea but they're too tart for my taste.I really enjoy it here because it is full of chill vibes, Viet pop jams and the decor is super cute. They usually do not have an extensive wait time. I love that their flavors are deep, portions large and they do not skimp on anything. Service is also good and fast. If that's your flow, you know where to go!"

Even though we came early, people started to slowly trickle in throughout the morning. Of course, we had to try their famous banh cuon. It was easily a 10/10. The rolls are silky smooth and topped with delicious portions of fried shrimp, cold cut meats, and fresh veggies. Their housemade fish sauce was amazing as well. We also tried their bun bo hue, and the broth was super flavorful. We definitely understand why people brave the long wait in the morning, and I can say that it is definitely worth it!"

I highly recommend the #6 (Crispy Pork Belly) and the #14 (Lemongrass Beef). Banh canh was actually very good too; you could get the broth more thickened or a thinner broth. My cousin ate the entire thing and said she's definitely coming back. I presume the owner was the elderly gentleman who came by our table to ask how everything tasted. He was also very sweet and happy we enjoyed the food. We asked the waiter as there was only one other party dining, is are food almost ready and the gentleman said yes give it a minute or two, next thing we know the microwave bell goes off and out comes our food, I'm like damn what a bummer-he microwaved pho.
