I am not from the area but I was able to find street parking nearby with no problem.The waitress was very helpful and provided great service. She informed us that the alcohol they use for certain cocktails is Agave Wine. The food portions were a nice size and best part is HANDMADE TORTILLAS! If you know me, I am a huge sucker for fresh made tortillas.Ensenada taco (shrimp) is a 10/10! The shrimp were HUGE (not like other places) and the sauce they use is FIRE!!! Carnitas taco is a 10/10! "We happened to be attending the Dia De Los Muertos event so it was understandably busy but we got lucky and our party of 4 got sat within 5 minutes.We ordered their chips & guacamole which was small but delicious, especially those home fried chips!Our party had the veggie fajitas, shrimp ceviche, shrimp enchiladas and a chile relleno and we were super happy with their unique flavors and freshness. We had to add sides since those are ordered separately.I had 2 of the Horchata Martins (delicious!) and we ended with their flan and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The service wasn't as attentive but we totally understood because of the event so we were very patient. Our waitress always had a smile on her face.We sat on their patio which was very family friendly.I would have given it 5 stars except for all the sides you have to order separately & they're very small portions. Def see myself coming here when I want a snack / small meal without breaking the bank! The ambiance is casual with an outdoor seating patio / ordering at the counter, but service was so friendly and helpful when we told them it was our first time. Def need to come back and try their happy hour! PARKING : This spot is located in Old Town Tustin, so parking can be limited. They do have a small parking lot though, and if you don't go during peak hours it won't be too hectic. They also have a drive thru which really helps if you don't want to worry about parking! FOOD/DRINKS :- Woodfire Steak Taco - 5 hr skirt steak cooked in puree of 5 chiles, finished on woodfire, topped with salsa macha, onion and cilantro - Al Pastor - 18 hr port shoulder finished on woodfire, cascabel adobo cactus, pineapple, tomato, red onion, cilantro Both tacos were delicious. The organic fresh made blue corn tortillas were excellent and the meats / sauces were all very flavorful! - Chips and Salsa - whipped jalapeño and smoky tomato salsasThis was so yum! The portion was huge for only $3.25 and the chips were warm, fresh, and seasoned. The salsas were unique and def housemade! Jalapeño creamy sauce did have a kick to it. "Very few places do Mexican pizza, and this is the only place that does it right. The Mexican meat lovers is the go to but the other meat options are good too if you don't like one of the meats or something. If you like shrimp, the Al gobernator is a must! It's like a creamy garlic shrimp that just works and is always a crowd pleaser. Their pizza crust is like a hybrid Detroit style that is thicker than the average standard crust, has good bounce and chew, and they do the cheese on the outer bottoms that gets nice and toasty. I also love their open salsa bar with tons of options. The creamy avocado salsa is our go to, and I always grab their pickled carrots, cucumbers, onions/cilantro and pickled onions/cilantro. It's super nice that they have the sandwich bags for the bulkier items. Avoid delivery at all cost! I was lazy and tried it once and the pizza is not the same. It sits in the delivery drivers car way too long and just becomes too spongy. Call in the order and go pick it up for the true quality experience! The staff is always super friendly and the inside can get a little cramp since they're usually busy. I like that the parking lot is pretty open as well so parking has never been an issue."

Let's face it, if you are trying to lose weight you ain't eating this and probably very picky. But if you just want to please your palate, then you are coming here. They are also fast and friendly. They can serve your food on silverware but then you are losing authenticity. I bet you that if they served their food on a fancy table, you'd be happy paying $20-30 per plate."

Surely this is some white-washed establishment looking to serve you gentrified "tacos" right? Nope - these are legit delish and authentic as you can get. They have a lot of different selections of meat. They're all very very tasty, but are they worth the premium price? If you have a craving, go for it. Personally their asada is very tasty and 3x cheaper than the ribeye. It's the same argument about In-N-Out vs Five Guys. The Five Guys burger is definitely tastier, but never worth the value when a Double Double is amazing and much cheaper.I liked the Ribeye, but I LOVED their asada. Seriously one of the best asada I've had in the over 80 taquerias I've ever tried."

For the food we ordered the appetizer sampler which was good. Also, ordered the grilled shrimp place with cauliflower rice which was good as well. Our last dish was the seared ahi salad which was bad. There was no sear to the ahi and it was very bland. I will give it another try and hope the food we choose next time will be tastier."

They took off some items to condense the menu. The taco pricing used to be $2 each and now it is at $2.25. Despite the increase it is still cheaper than most taco spots in this area. This is not full service restaurant but a fast/casual one. When you walk in you'll see the menu board up behind the counter. When you're ready just place it with the staff at the cashier. They'll call out your number when your order is ready. All staff have been pleasant and courteous. The wait time hasn't been bad at all. I think the longest we had ever had to wait was about 15 minutes for take-out. We never dined in before but perhaps one day for the birria ramen!Reasons we love this spot:(1) Yummy tacos are topped with guacamole! Asada & carnitas is our fav. Flavorful meats!(2) Delish handmade corn quesadilla.(3) Burrito is packed full. Generous on the protein.(4) Condiment bar where you can grab/add your own toppings! - Cucumber slices, chopped onion/cilantro, lime, super spicy red salsa, and delish creamy Jalapeno salsa (FYI - I noticed the past 2 months it is spicier than usual)Taco Gobernador is good but IMO could use one more shrimp instead of 2. Starting off, the chips and dip appetizer set up the meal, with freshly made guac and crunchy blue corn tortilla chips that perfectly paired. The chips were so good that I ended up asking the server where they were from, only to find out they were baked in house. When I ordered the tacos I was initially first skeptical about the price but quickly found out why the prices were set when our entree came out. I totally didn't expect the tacos to be THAT big, filled to the brim with condiments, garnishes, and meat. My personal favorites were the Crunchy Chicken Tender and Slow Braised Short Rib - both of them which had a modern unique twist to what you would traditionally consider for a taco. For example, the Crunchy Chicken tender had your standard lettuce garnishes but had a sweet syrup sauce that made biting into the fried chicken piece so divine. Definitely these tacos are an experience to have! (Although personally, I would want a small taco and see if maybe they can provide a sampler meal for those who maybe are unsure about committing to a giant taco.)Service: 4/5Service is quick, efficient, and friendly! It was my first time visiting and my server kindly recommended me his personal favorites not only regarding specific tacos but also which tortillas to pair them with. Seating is ample and clean with plenty of booths on the first floor, outside on the front patio, and additional seating on another level. Ambience is also terrific for a date/hang out spot with modern, fun music to boot. Although Salt & Lime shares company with other busy restaurants/bar, I didn't have any trouble with parking in the back lot. But around July 2nd, a game I've been playing for years called "Final Fantasy 14" released a new story arc set in a place heavily based on Mexican and Peruvian culture. In one of your quest, you help 2 characters, Wuk Lamat and Koana, cook a dish called "Xibruq Pibil". This dish in the videogame is based on the real life Cochinita Pibil and I just had to try it. It's not like any other Mexican food I've heard of and there's a reason why. We're used to Northern style Mexican food while Cochinita Pibil is from the Yucatan Peninsula where the Mayans still embrace their culture.In an attempt to taste a dish that's part of my favourite online game, I ordered 6 of these tacos. I scarfed them down because they're just that good. It's pork with achiote slow cooked in banana leaves. I'm making this spot my go-to and have so far tried their burrito and tacos. It's hard finding Mexican restaurant that serves Cochinita Pibil and I'm making sure any fans of the game wanting to try out this 'Xibruq Pibil' support this family run business. They deserve more than just my praise.Whether you're a Final Fantasy 14 player or just wanting to try a new Mexican dish, Tacompadre should be on your list!"

We also got taquitos as well since my boyfriend ordered it; I didn't know what to get. The tacos were very flavorful, delicious, and meat is very tender and easy to chew. My boyfriend would rate his tacos a solid 4/5 and I would rate it a 5/5. I also love their red & green sauce it is the BEST sauce that any taco place should have in their taco restaurant. My boyfriend and I thought the taquitos were alright it just needs salt for the seasoning, but the it was crunchy, smooth, and crispy. The lettuce and other condiments were delicious. We both would give this a 3/5 since it lack a bit of seasoning. They have their condiments station which you can get on your own with a small bag and the condiment station has limes, onions & jalapeño mixed, and carrots. The service was fast & employee is very nice and friendly. The store has a great atmosphere, spacious, and clean. There is plenty of parking, but it is very small. "Over the past few years, there have been many places in the Cerritos Towne Center that came and left really fast. This is a spot that I hope is here to stay for the long run. We just so happened to see a sign for them while shopping around and decided to give them a try; we weren't disappointed. This is a different kind of taco than I've ever had, it's basically like a giant soft taco that you could also eat open-faced. The tortilla was soft and fresh, the meat was tender & flavorful, and whatever sauce they use is tasty and not spicy at all. I opted for the breakfast Perro taco, so it came with scrambled eggs instead of beans, which the regular taco would have. Just one taco alone is a pretty good size and is definitely pretty filling.
