"The best under the radar Taco spot in Newport Beach/Costa Mesa! It's located at a shared kitchen space with ample parking which is a great combination because after ordering, you're able to look at all of the other incredible food options in the building including Pie's, Lucie's Kitchen and more! I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu but my favorite is the mushroom taco, chips and guacamole and Agua Frescas!"
"Tonight I told my Hubby come on let's go get some yummy Street Tacos Tacos El Compa Taco Truck has the best tacos! They are so delicious and yummy and the staff is friendly and courteous! If your in Buena Park try them out"

"AMAZING!!!!!! Loved this food truck! I'm always looking for a torta ahogada .. there isn't a place yet where I'd go back for another. Still haven't found the perfect one. Even though there's is really really good, it is still not what I want. However the trompo tacos! O M G!!! Delicious! I'll definitely go back for those. The torta ahogada comes wet obviously, with your choice of mild sauce and spicy. I chose mild but it was still super spicy. Unless she heard wrong and gave me spicy. Cause my líps where burning! But still pretty delicious. Comes with onions and a couple of costillas on the side. Those are super yummy. The meat fell right off the bone, very tender. The trompo tacos where my favorite! It's a hard taco with requesón topped off with pastor meat, salsa, guacamole, crema, and avocado slices, garnished with some Rábanos n jalapeño asado. Omg the best hard shell tacos ever for me. I had 3 and wished I had room for more! They are located on a Baker cross street 17th st next to the car wash. Customer service is great! The lady that took my order was so sweet. Also if you post your food on your IG story and mention them you can show them and get 2 free tacos! Yay! Can't wait to be back for more trompo tacos.. drool face"
"¡Este camión de comida es muy bueno! I highly recommend coming here for some very tasty and high quality Mexican food! It's hidden behind the old movie theater (if you're a local) or for newbies the new church off Sycamore and Warner Ave. You can get a full belly for under $20 for two people, including drinks! We ordered an Asada supreme burrito, hold the cebollas, please! As well as an Asada Torta. Both were superb in flavor and serving size and didn't contain a bunch of greasy meat. It felt and tasted homemade. Their salsa choices were red and green and a mild pico de gallo o that came with the chips. The owner/gentleman running the trucks speaks both English and Spanish and was very friendly and welcoming. That's a big plus in this day and age with customer service. Seriously, already drooling over my next meal from here..."
"I've had a positive experience every time I come here. Food is fresh and portion are a good size. Taco Tuesday offers a free fish taco with a purchase of any taco. Items ordered: fish tacos, agua de piña con chamoy and Tajín. Overall, I thought that fish tacos were great. They were cooked perfected and bartered just right. The salsa was good and offered just the right amount of spice. The pineapple water was super delicious. My 3 year old devoured the entire thing. Overall, fast service and plenty of space inside. The employees are generous and the inside is always looking clean. Good food and descent prices."
"Stopped by as we were looking for street tacos, it is dark where they park and the truck may be hard to miss! I'm glad we gave it a shot, because the food is great and the staff are incredibly nice. They even made us a small version of the sumo just to try it. We went on taco Tuesday so the tacos were only $2 each. Please consider putting some chairs/tables and more lights for people to sit and eat so you get more visibility from the street!Coming back for the nachos and fries for sure :)"
"Great mom and pop! Made to order and ingredients taste fresh! Can't wait to come back and try something else. Very nice family own."
"Visiting Tacburg made our day. I was apprehensive because usually when food is so visually appealing, it lacks flavor. When I bit into the Skeletor Taco, I knew that Tacburg had the visual AND flavor locked down. A rare accomplishment. The food alone was worth the drive from L.A. proper. The service was the cherry on top. John was so hospitable. We look forward to returning!"
"Best Al Pastor Tacos I have tried! 10/10! Amazing service and price. Recommended! Self-serve table with salsas, onion, cilantro, and lemons. For the torta, I would just change the bread to toasted and different kind, but it had great flavor. The salsas were great, wish the orange one would be more spicy, but it's doable. The spicy one is the dark red one, which added a kick to it. I love how the pineapple adds a different flavor and balances it out. The tacos are not too greasy nor dry, they are just right! They have a table under a tent for those who want to eat there, but we takeout!"
"This is a fairly new taco stand that I only started seeing a few months ago at this location by the Euclid and Westminster intersection right outside of Hanshaw Liquors. This review is just for the quesadillas which I usually get with grilled onions inside. The quesadillas are delicious and very cheesy. I love the fresh self serve salsa and pickled veggies. Since this is located outside in the open, they do have few seating available. This is a good spot to go if you're looking for a quick and yummy bite."
"Okay I love this food!!!! I can tell you I'm extremely picky and a big taco fan and this is where it's at... I tried them at a catering event recently and it was phenomenal. The young man who's the owner makes his stuff from scratch. It's all seasoned in house and made fresh for each event. I love that so much and supporting small businesses is what we all need to be doing. He does popups too so try to catch him if you can! He'll do different specials and I can't wait to try his chilaquiles next. He has a great variety, including some vegan options too!"
"Don Pacho's Taquiza catered a fundraiser I worked on this past weekend. The food was amazing and the staff was professional and a lot of fun. I would recommend them to everyone. They were on time, kept to the schedule and turned out food that everyone enjoyed. The asada was my favorite and their salsa and rice was to die for. Thanks Don Pancho's!"

Got a chance to sample some of TLP's menu today and it was all fantastic. They prepped everything super fresh, and their service was incredible. I especially appreciated them being incredibly considering of some folks in our groups dietary restrictions (vegan & halal). They are based out of The Hood Kitchen Space so the ambiance is non-traditional - tables outside in the business park. It is close to John Wayne Airport so there are quite a few planes passing overheads, but it is a nice place to grab a quick bite nonetheless. The main way id eat TLP again is via takeout, and their packaging is top notch, ensuring that your tacos stay in good shape until you get home! I especially loved the Shias fees as and seasoned chips, as well as the homemade tortillas and can't wait to try more!

Came here hungry and eager to eat. Tacos are always extra good when the family is very hungry! We ordered several tacos: carnitas, lengua, al pastor, and asada. We also got an asada burrito.First and foremost, CASH ONLY. The lady accommodated us and accepted Venmo. Not sure if that's common or just this time since we were one of the first patrons of the day. This cash only thing won't count against them here, because they accommodated, but cash only places are inconvenient and definitely makes me think twice before going back. The tacos were pretty good. The lengua was tender and full of flavor. The al pastor was pretty good too. Surprising to me, the carnitas was my favorite here. That's Def a first. The asada was pretty salty. My husband pointed that out too and that's huge. I'm a lot more sensitive to salt and he noticed it here. The asada burrito was even more salty than the taco. Maybe the rice was also salty? ::shrug::Salsas. Red salsa was pretty good and came with a solid kick. I always appreciate flavorful salsas with a kick. The green one tasted ...old. Almost like it had sat there for a few days in the heat. Not very good at all. The cucumber and radish were also room temperature. Idk, but these things need to stay fresh and in ice at least, no?Overall, if you come, have their carnitas tacos, or lengua. Use the red salsa. You'll be pleased with that much.

Solid neighborhood staple. Can't go wrong with the fried fish tacos. An ample amount of fish, with zesty white sauce! They're always steady busy, but quick and hospitable. I haven't eaten in, but there's plenty of space! Reventaco is always CLEAN!!

After completing a fairly rigorous hike in Hacienda Heights, we were craving hamburgers. Fortunately, Yelp led us to Tacburg, and it felt like hitting the jackpot! The combination of quality and quantity, topped with amazing presentation, made our lunch truly enjoyable. Afterwards, we strolled down the street, soaking in the charm of quirky shops and candy stores in this eclectic neighborhood.

"I was surprised to see the mixed reviews, but I must've come on a good day because I thoroughly enjoyed their food. My BIL recommended this place and so we decided to come here for lunch on a Tuesday around 11:00a.This is located off of 1st Street, between Flower Street and Bristol Street. It sits by itself, not in a strip mall or anything, so it may be easy to miss. They also have locations in Orange, Long Beach, and Stanton. The inside was kind of empty still, perhaps being early in the week and before prime lunch time, with Spanish karaoke music playing. It's like a mini supermarket with lots of snacks, condiments, etc. that's available for purchase, too. We went up to the register and ordered the sopa de la casa (house ramen birria + consommé, $14.99), birria tour (quesabirria + red taco + bomb taco + consommé, $11.99), and dorado taco ($3.29). We also got horchata ($3.99) and tamarindo ($3.99) to drink. They had a sign for Taco Tuesday so we asked if it applies right now and the lady said "yes," but I guess we didn't get the right tacos because nothing was discounted...oh well. The birria ramen was so good...the noodles were pretty chewy though (my BIL said that they make their own?), but it kept its shape in the hot soup. If anything, it's the soup that made this so superb...I can drink it by itself...and the meat, I think they crisped it up (pan-fried?) for this dish, which was a nice touch. The ramen came with one taco, too. The tacos were good, too. For the crunchy tacos, they put a crunchy shell on the outside of another shell (see pic). It's not full on crunch like the tacos at Taco Bell or Del Taco (sorry to even compare with them), but still had a nice crunchy texture. What I really liked was that they give you a condiment server that has cilantro, onions, lime, salsa, and cucumbers so that you can customize your tacos (the tacos only had meat in them for that reason, I think). I absolutely cannot eat cilantro so this was a win for me. Onions and lime, that's all I needed. Their horchata and tamarindo were yummy, too! It's like a 20oz cup, I think, but I could've had another cup to wash the food down. Btw, don't wear white! Lol"
"The food truck is outside of a buisness suits building. They have a perfect spot! Their parked on the main road and the tree gives their truck tons of shade. 2 signs are visible if your passing by. Love that they have a tv a table for a quick bite.I wish I can order everything on their menu. I ordered a torta (birra) & 2 birra tacos carne a safe with everything. 3 sauces available to easily take with you. Consome dip which was amazing. The tacos were so flavorful and my veggies were so yummy! Love their atmosphere from there genuine staff."
"If we had to debate if Spain or Mexican (Southern California) had better food, I would send the chefs at Navarro's Taqueria to the cooking competition! This place is good. I don't even know how to describe it. It's a hole in the wall. But with its own security fence private parking. The food is good. Wholesome ingredients. Even the salsa bar will have you dancing!I ordered tacos, it had the right amount of grease and balanced cilantro cheese and meats. Let's face it, if you are trying to lose weight you ain't eating this and probably very picky. But if you just want to please your palate, then you are coming here. They are also fast and friendly. They can serve your food on silverware but then you are losing authenticity. I bet you that if they served their food on a fancy table, you'd be happy paying $20-30 per plate."
"I was pumping my gas at a Shell station when I discovered this marvelous taqueria, can we say the right place at the right time? My stomach was growling while my left hand was holding the pump. I made complete eye contact with the taqueria straight ahead. I started drooling on my pump, and had to use napkin to wipe myself up! I knew I was destined to go there!l lol.Going in, it was a MEGA sized menu running literally 15 x ft wide. I swear can see the words even if you're blind! They have lots of options but the one that sparked my interest was the Gringa De Harina! First of all, I've never heard of a Gringa in a Mexican menu, only just gringo lol so I knew I had to try! Gringa is basically a large ass quesadilla, harina is the flour tortilla, not to mention made from scratch! I ended up picking the carne asada option. Figured you can't go wrong hahaha.Food was quick, it was ready in less than 10 mins. It came with red and green sauce on the side. First bite - omg EPIC!! Flavors of meat and cheese exploded in my mouth, combined with the softness of the homemade tortilla = Heaven!! The sauces made it even better, with a kick! If you have made it reading this far, give the gringa de harina a shot! You are welcome!"
"This taco truck gets it! Quick service, delicious flavor and great prices. If you are in the area and you're craving a taco, mulita, quesadilla or burrito, look no further! Their green and red sauce has a wonderful kick without being too spicy. The gentleman making the food was warm and very welcoming. Thank you!!"
"Who doesn't love a good food truck?Tacos El Chente is located on Brookhurst and Lampson in Garden Grove. The truck has a very pretty, colorful design. My friend told me about this place and invited me out. I ordered 1 carne asada and 1 tripe taco. Unfortunately, they gave me the wrong order and I got chorizo instead, which was fine. I didn't want to bother them to have to make it again. They have THE BEST TRIPE TACOS I've ever had!! The chorizo taco was average. I wouldn't get that in the future. I will definitely be back to get the tripe tacos again, and look forward to trying more items, like burritos.Happy eating!"
"Thai is our weekly tacos spot. At least one night a week. Menu is simple. Tacos are basic but good and service is friendly. We call in our order with all the fixings on the side. Been coming since I was a kid. Flavor and quality has never changed. You won't fine any chicken, cheese or any variety of salsas. It just simple easy cheap tacos. Sometimes when I want the cheese and guacamole stuff I hit the taco trucks near by. This is a cash only mom and pop place."
"Our go to spot for deciduous tacos! The owners are really nice & friendly. It's a chill vibe with some booths and tables to dine in. A must to come in for tacos for lunch. Can't really go wrong with any of the taco selections"
"Been to these guys a hand full of times since last month, great spot for some late night street tacos! They said they're normally there from 7pm to 2am Tuesday through Sunday. Both times we went was during the week. The tacos here are excellent, I normally stick to asada but they have all the normal meats including fiery el pastor, pollo etc. I've seen people ordering burritos also. The asada is juicy, salty, and pretty much everything you want from a street taco. They're two bucks a piece and cash only my friends, you know the drill. Our favorite part of this place is the awesome spread of extra you get for free at the end of the stand. All the radishes, cucumber, onions, limes you want! And they don't just have bags, they have little plastics cups for all the sauces, double points for that. The green sauce is bomb, and the guac sauce is also excellent, not too watery like other taco stands I've been too.Give them a shot if you're a fan of street tacos, you won't regret it!"
"Pierside Kitchen & Bar was cute and across from the San Clemente Pier. You can see the sunset from the patio area and large wood table near the patio. From Truffle Fries , Coconut Shrimp to Crispy Brussel Sprouts, appetizers set the mood right! The Salmon BLT stole the show - so big, so tempting! My Herbed Salmon was perfection, but would have liked a bit more Chimichurri. And oh, the choices - Fish and Chips, Double Smash Cheeseburger, and Shrimp Tacos, each a delight! Great customer service!"
"Ok so we live near like 15 taquerias and taco trucks (hello Santa Ana), and after being decently impressed with TCW and El Zamorano, we finally decided to try TLR one day. These are my favorite tacos so far - better than TCW and El Zamorano, and definitely cheaper at $1/taco. Not a huge fan of chicken in tacos, but this was good. My favorites are the suadero and carnitas, and my husband's favorite is the asada. They do have other items as well but we've only tried their tacos. There's a bit of a wait cuz they cook the meat and tortilla and it's always piping hot when I get my food. Definitely get some of the salsa to help with the flavor of the taco. Some of them have a good kick too - yum! This will be my regular spot if I'm in the mood for some reliably solid tacos. It also helps that it's like a few blocks from us, so that's just a bonus."
"Taco truck/trailer on Knott Blvd just north of Orangethorpe. High quality food and ingredients, we always get the mulitas, tacos de carne and chicken burrito. Can't go wrong with them."
"These were tasty tacos that were very inexpensive.Made fresh. I tried the chicken (good), carne asada, (better), and tacos al pastor (best).I like how they added a slice of pineapple to the tacos al pastor. The sweetness evened out the flavor of the tacos. I like to squeeze a slice of lime over the tacos too. I couldn't decide between red salsa or green salsa so I took both. And I topped it off with roasted green and yellow peppers. That was spicier than I expected.Definitely worth a visit!"
"I had forgotten how delicious this place is!Food: 10, Ambiance: 10, Service:10Yesterday a friend and I split the Chorizo & Egg (special?) Burrito and each had a Manganada drink. I think their Chorizo is house made, definitely not the grocery store kind. Green sauce is bomb! Tonight for dinner I tried the Carnitas Burrito. I ate half but wanted to eat the entire thing! I think it was the best burrito I have ever eaten. I liked the red sauce as much as the green. My husband had their Ramen with Barria and he definitely enjoyed it. Great job. This is going to be my regular spot."
"For a cheap and quick salad, Jack In The Box is not too shabby. I really like the balsamic dressing. This location always has great customer service. The atmosphere of the shopping center is a bit rough, so be extra aware of your surroundings. I've also ordered chicken tenders here in the past and they were fresh and delicious."
"The smell will lure you in. Simply delicious with the Mexican flavors we all love. My only gripe is that they were so busy they ran out of cups for horchata. Other than that aces!"
"***Final Fantasy XIV spoilers***If you are a fan of Final Fantasy 14 and made it to the Dawntrails story quests, this is for you!Like many fans of Mexican food, we mainly go for other Mexican fares like Pozole, Carne Asada, or Mole. But around July 2nd, a game I've been playing for years called "Final Fantasy 14" released a new story arc set in a place heavily based on Mexican and Peruvian culture. In one of your quest, you help 2 characters, Wuk Lamat and Koana, cook a dish called "Xibruq Pibil". This dish in the videogame is based on the real life Cochinita Pibil and I just had to try it. It's not like any other Mexican food I've heard of and there's a reason why. We're used to Northern style Mexican food while Cochinita Pibil is from the Yucatan Peninsula where the Mayans still embrace their culture. In an attempt to taste a dish that's part of my favourite online game, I ordered 6 of these tacos. I scarfed them down because they're just that good. It's pork with achiote slow cooked in banana leaves. I'm making this spot my go-to and have so far tried their burrito and tacos. It's hard finding Mexican restaurant that serves Cochinita Pibil and I'm making sure any fans of the game wanting to try out this 'Xibruq Pibil' support this family run business. They deserve more than just my praise.Whether you're a Final Fantasy 14 player or just wanting to try a new Mexican dish, Tacompadre should be on your list!"
"clean birrieria with good birria tacos!food came out pretty fast and the tacos itself were good!i was hoping i got the soup on the side to dip it in but they pre dipped their birria in the soup and cooked it for us.other than that, good place if you're in the area!"
"Order from Taqueria Azteca! Food is great and some taco trucks can be intimidating to order from, but not here! Clear signage to order from and their staff is super nice & helpful. We got tacos (tripas, carne asada, lengua, cabeza, al pastor) and a quesadilla. If you like tripas go here! It's crunchy and delicious! And from our experience, we say tacos all the way. The quesadilla was good for sure but nothing extraordinary. Don't forget to ask for the spicy red onions!"
"The food was wholesome and good thanks to the amazing service we got from the chef. It was a rainy day and he went above and beyond with service and kindness. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts."
"We have tried Que Vida both on door dash and in person. Delicious! We have saddled up to the bar twice for delicious food and great service. Get the cold mesquite corn on anything or on the side. Yummy! See you all soon!"
"Everything about this taco stand is nothing short of amazing! The smells the crunch the drips need I say more? If you're looking for delicious pastor made with TLC this is the spot! Everything is made fresh to order even tortillas!"
"Solid middle of the pack place. I personally like it more than other places because of the tj style taste. However the meat could use a little more flavor and the tortillas, although handmade, could use a pinch of flavor too. I always get the mulita and tacos de asada. I tried adobada but didn't like how sweet it was. Decent option and orange salsa is the better of the two."
