Obviously order the wings, with 9 different flavors it is so hard to choose just 2 flavors so we ordered the 24 piece wings to try 4 flavors. Super affordable for a family of 5 and is kid-friendly (only negative is that they don't have booths, just stools so make sure your kids know how to sit on their own)I can't wait to come back"

"After dealing with the horrible parking, dodging endless crackheads, and pushing your way through the narrow aisles of Rodeo 39 you need to relax. At the back of the building across from Bearded Tang is a small bar with counter seats and a few tables if you want to eat food while getting your drink on. I was by myself but figured I could use a cocktail so I pulled up a seat at the counter. Bar has mostly top shelf brands, a menu of creative cocktails, and it's served in high end glasses. I went with a cocktail on the menu which was Japanese whiskey infused with green tea. Simple yet so frickin good. The green tea was a perfect pairing with the whiskey. It was a heavy pour and I was feeling good by the end of my drink. Price was $14 which to me was a average price for a high end cocktail. Nice surprise to find this bar and next time I'll get some lunch at one of the Rodeo 39's eateries and eat it with a delicious cocktail!"

"Came here for a date night last Sunday, and we had a lot of fun! It's not too busy on Sundays, so it feels like we have the place for ourselves. We ordered 2 Moscow mules (perfectly mixed), and we played Jenga and pool. It's $2.00 to play pool, and you can get change from the bartender. The bathroom is small but clean; tables are clean; music plays all night, but you can also pay to choose your own song. They have an outdoor patio and free parking. It's a perfect bar to go to if you're in the area."

They have darts, a pool table, a juke box... all the classics! They also have several TVs usually playing whatever sports are on. They also do weekly events such as comedy, karaoke and sometimes even live music. Pro tip - If you find yourself hungry, ask the bartender to make you a pizza! They're super good and only $5. You can also order food from other restaurants in that plaza which will either deliver or you can pickup yourself. Go check this place out - After all, don't we all need a little group therapy in our lives?"

I usually go with a friend or two after work and have had a very good time talking and drinking."

(Which accept dollars or quarters)I really appreciated that there was a wide range of age groups there. Saw people in their mid twenties, all the up to mid eighties! Quite nice actually.Not only were the drinks strong, esp. for the price. The food was absolutely wonderful, and service wasn't too shabby for as busy as they were! "Very popular location! I came here with a group of friends during the Olympics and the place was packed! A packed place can be a good thing but can also mean longer wait times for everything. The food took a little longer than normal to get out to our table, which was understandable due to the packed location. But our drinks came out at a reasonable time. The menu has lots of alcoholic and non-alcoholic (mocktail) options. I got the Sideline Screamer mocktail which contains pineapple puree, passion fruit, ginger, and lime. It was very refreshing! I also go the Onion burger. The burger came with a side of fries. The burger was a bit on the dry side, but overall, great taste. I really enjoyed the burger's onion ash aioli. Parking was easy to find because this bar is part of a large shopping center. Despite the place being so packed, there was plenty of parking spots to choose from. I'd definitely come back again."

The weather stays cool in this bar, and the vibe is a purely chill vibe for only the coolest fools and ladies, please.Oh what nights can be had at The Mission. The OC Hurricanes might be jamming their best, or a fatty taco vendor like Carnitas El Porky might be set up to slang spicy pork tacos or quesatacos for the night. Vanessa, the mgr., could be out checking on the venue, waving to some regulars, or making connections with local businesses. People could be dancing inside the bar all 'round the pool tables, or people could be dancing outdoors to the rare cumbias of Ritmo Santanero (a DJ group run by Rigo and Gary V.) The bar staff is professional, courteous, and friendly. They know how to mix, how to recommend, and how to pour. They manage the liquor service with tact; I always see many lightly buzzed, happy faces at the bar. A well run team. Credit to Vanessa and the bar staff. It was a very popular spot on a Saturday night with many parties dining in and a constant flow of people picking up orders to go. They have plenty of large TVs inside if you're trying to watch a game as well, there's no bad spot to sit. The service was prompt in bussing our tables and the workers were friendly. Order at the counter and take the number for dine-in, they bring the food to you. Drinks are self serve-- they have Pepsi here, not Coca Cola (unfortunately). The menu is expansive with tons of options, from personal size pizzas to larger shareable portions and the pasta dishes come with 2 slices of garlic bread. My only qualm is I wish there was more of a garlic flavor! Great experience, highly recommend!"

My Yelp search had this bar rated high, 4.2.... So we tried it.At first, we were drawn back at the style of bar/restaurant it was. Initially I thought it was a restaurant. Everything was ordered on table software, including the drinks. So here's my review:Food: 4/5. From the garlic Parmesan fries, to the honey crispy fries chicken wings, all was tasteful and fresh. Some of the items were 'out' and not available, but not updated in the system. Drinks: 3/5. I was expecting a full bar with various spirits, but the liquor was only white asian spirits; soju,etc. They did have various foreign beer on tap (like 10-12 handles).Price: 3/5. The drinks were a bit pricey, but consistent with the area and type of drinks they offered. It could be due to the import selection they had. Service: 5/5. By far my favorite part of the experience. The waitresses were attentive, polite, and quick to respond to orders. I wouldn't mind trying this bar again. I enjoy Korean spirits. I give it a 4.2 as well."

A friend recommended The Hive, and it was my first time recently since they took over the space from Slater's 50/50. Yes, it's been a while. The restaurant wasn't too busy for weekday lunch, but there was still a nice crowd around the bar and a few games on the TVs. There are plenty of tasty-sounding items on the menu, and I referred to some of the reviews on Yelp and a friend to help me decide. I ordered the Smash burger, as it's one of the favorites among the reviews. I enjoyed the burger, but it was a bit too salty. The burger was a decent size for the price, and the beef patties were thicker than other smash burgers I've had. I also upgraded to onion rings, and those were exceptional. They had a crunchy coating and thick-sliced onions with great flavor and texture. We also ordered a Giant Bavarian Pretzel to share, which was a bit denser than expected but still a good snack. My friends also ordered fish tacos and The Buzzzzz Turkey Burger. The verdict was delicious, and we left with satisfied stomachs.Overall, it was a good first experience for me, and I'd return to try more items, relax, and catch a game. The staff was attentive and kind as well.While we were dining, a musician set up on the other side of the restaurant, we didn't hear them play, but live music is also available."
