Sophia C. "It's Sandwich Saturday and I was craving an Italian sandwich super hard! Hollingshead popped up via Yelp and what's super crazy is I knew exactly where that was. I've seen it a lot being in my hometown, but I've only gone past it. This is my first time going inside and having their food! #mindblowingOf course -- out of curiosity -- I asked what their most popular sandwiches were. It was the Great Scott, which I plan to have next time! But back to the main event -- my delicious-ness photos of the Little Italy! It... hit... the... spot!!! It was so good! I wanted extra meat and cheese, thus making it a Double. The mild peppers with the artichokes was perfection! A masterful delicatessen moment for my taste buds! I'm a huge fan of mortadella. This sandwich had the perfect flavor pairing with the zest from the artichokes, pepper, and vinegar. Texture was good as well. The French roll served well with the meats, cheese, and vegetables. Something else bomb about this place is that it's a sports heavy, especially towards Cheeseheads (Green Bay Packers). You can watch the game here and get a beer! There are so many beers to select from. They even have soda pop for those non-drinkers. Hank's is one of the best soda pop companies. Yum! Going back to the Packers -- it is definitely decked out with a lot of green and yellow. It looks cool and has personality. There are Green Bay Packers memorabilia and merch hanging from all corners of the place. It makes sense since the original founders are from Wisconsin!A very cool and unique style the restaurant has is instead of calling out orders with numbers, like most places... they will give you a card of a beverage. Your que to get your order is when they call out your drink name! How different is that!?I do move supporting traditional mom-and-pops. This one was established in 1963! That is unbelievable! Again, I'm born and raised in this area and cannot believe it was my first time today. Better late than never, I guess! Besides, they have one of the best potato chips -- Zapp's Voodoo! The first best chip ever is the purple bag called Hawaiian Kettle Style Potato Chips in Sweet Maui Onion. Parking wise -- I can see that it may become an issue. The strip mall that it's in can get packed due to the number of businesses located there. Next time, I plan to come with my boyfriend. He will get soda pop and ill have a beer while trying the Great Scott!"

Martin W. "A friend of mine invited me out to lunch and chose this restaurant. It was my first time. This is a Mediterranean restaurant. Since I was a guest, I did not get a chance to take a photo of the menu, hopefully there might be some photos from other yelp reviewers.Isabel, our server explained to me that their specialty are their Mediterranean bowls. They allow you to choose your protein And two sides and two sauces. They also had Mediterranean plates and salads and a variety of soft drinks and other beverages.Isabel was very attentive, and polite. She allowed us time to discuss business when she returned we ordered and within 10 to 15 minutes we had our food.I have visited other Mediterranean restaurants and I would have to say this one ranks as one of the best. What I liked about my bowl was that the rice was fluffy? The chicken was very tasty and tender. The house sauce was smooth and creamy and of course the avocados and beets were a great addition. My host and his colleague had been here before and they rave about how good it is.Along with our bowls, we ordered french fries and pita bread.Although the restaurant appeared to be small in size, it was not too noisy in spite of the fact that they were quite a few guests. As I stated before, I would definitely come back to this with my wife."

Joey D. "Yeah, it's a great sandwich. It's been years since I've been to Cortina's. I've only visited the Anaheim location, but Orange is less chaotic and we were feeling like sandwiches today so we went for it.1130 is still a solid time to visit. The food arrived quickly and we were able to find seating without an issue. The sandwiches prices have definitely gone up, but they are pretty large so it you at least get a very full meal out of them. No major complaints from the table. Overall, all the food was enjoyed. I probably have the biggest gripe-I was the only one that got a hot sandwich, the chicken marinara, and my biggest issue is that it was at best lukewarm so the temperature was just not right. Cheese wasn't melted enough. It could've used some extra time warming it up however they do it. This is not the type of sandwich you want to eat at room temperature. It still tasted good and the bread is fantastic. Now that I returned, I want to run through the menu some more and knock out some other items. But let's be honest, the real reason I'll be coming back is because of the black cherry soda, which is delicious. If you've been there, you know. Most of people seem to get it. It's definitely a thing."

The gentleman who took my order was very friendly and took my time to answer my questions and give me the detail I was looking for. They were happy to accommodate my request for thin crust, even though it didn't seem to be something they advertise on the menu.Food: We ordered The Works, and it was fantastic. The quality of the ingredients was top notch. The vegetables on the pizza were fresh and the meats actually had taste and were not bland. The cheese was reminiscent of some top quality Wisconsin cheeses I've had on pizzas in the Midwest. The crust was perfectly toasted and the undercarriage perfectly cooked. Not raw, not burnt, baked to have a perfect crunch.Overall: I'd recommend this place if you love supporting local small businesses or if you're just on the hunt for some great tasting pizza. They have many other items on the menu like Calzones, Chicken Parm, etc. I definitely will be back to try it all! You guys just earned a loyal customer. Thank you, Big Robs!"

Their #12 house special combination pho is a must-try--it's huge, with a generous amount of quality beef and perfectly cooked pho noodles. For the price, it's hands down the most satisfying bowl of pho around.Beyond the pho, the menu has other gems. The S5 stir-fry combination is a flavor bomb, packed with a variety of meats and your choice of soft or crispy noodles. It's always a crowd-pleaser. The rice platters and vermicelli dishes are consistently great as well; you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The wait can get a bit long during peak hours, but that just speaks to how popular the place is. Service is usually quick and efficient, though, so you won't be waiting long once seated. This is one of those spots we'll keep coming back to!"

Gotta love small businesses who show appreciation for new patrons!I had the chicken salad on wheat bread, and a vegetable soup which was perfectly hot on this cool, crispy day. The vegetable soup was flavorful and I did not feel like I was missing a protein. It had potatoes, celery, and carrots, perfectly cooked. Broth was tasty, would definitely purchase this in the future. The chicken salad was fresh and light, not lost in mayonnaise. "Perfect spot to grab some food some beer and just have a good time.We were looking for a spot to grab some food and have some drinks before a concert so we decided to check this place out and I'm glad we did. Now we parked a few blocks down closer to the venue of the concert but it looks like there is plenty of parking out front or even parking a few blocks down like we did is not bad at all. When we walked in there were some empty tables so we just grabbed one and waited for the server. There was a QR codes on the tables for the menu or you could wait to get one from the server. Although it was getting pretty busy a server came to us in less than 5 minutes which was not too bad of a wait as it looked like she was the only one taking care of our section.I tried a few beers on tap. I had the compadre Mexican Lager and the Bikini Blonde. They had about 30 beers on tap so there will be something for everyone. For food I ended up getting the steak sandwich. It's listed as market price but they have a chalk board that has the price of the day so you don't need to feel shy about asking or anything. This day it was $23. I'm pretty simple guy so I asked what comes on the sandwich and they said nothing just the meat and bun. Shocking as usually it has lettuce or tomatoes at least but figure it must be good And it sure was. It was super delicious and didn't need anything else. They asked how I wanted it cooked and I said medium, and it was cooked to perfection. The meat was not hard at all and was so easy to eat. This isn't some cheap meat that you may be getting at your local burger spot or something. It was honestly one of the best steak sandwiches I've ever had. Even for the price I've had some that were a little bit more and were not as good. I would come back just for this. My wife had the B.L.A.T. I'm not a fan of avocado so I'm not going to review this but my wife said it was really good and she finished all her sandwich so she sure loved it. She also got the Garlic fries and they were so good! The serve came a few times basically to get refills on our drinks and that's all we could ask for. It's a busy spot so don't expect them to come every 5 minutes but I had no issues with the service at all.If you are In the area I would highly recommend you come to check this place out.
