"Squeezed in there to beat the last call. I got a delicious no rice roll called Cucumber & Associates. There were a few other parties there but seating was no problem. TV's playing a basketball game, it wasn't the Celtics so need to say who was playing. Food and drinks came out quickly and service was great. Some come sushi-for-yourself."
"Service was the best! Very attentive staff! We ordered the pork appetizer. One of the best things I've ever had in my mouth. Then the cucumber salad. I think I like Persian cucumbers better but these had good flavor. I would not order it again as it is too big of a portion for me and doesn't stay overnight without getting spongy. Next we ordered pork light broth ramen and a small two piece fried chicken rice bowl. Both were delicious. We ordered curry to go."

"A good spot when you feel like ramen and want something to hit the spot. We tried the Hakata Tokotsu and the Chicken Paitan and both were good, nothing crazy but good. They are conservative on the spiciness level so I'd definitely get a spicier level next time as my medium spicy was less than a mild elsewhere. Service was great and they have a smooth process, on weekend evenings I'd definitely get on the waitlist from yelp instead of waiting to get there. We went on a rainy Saturday and definitely had to wait about 30/40 minutes so plan ahead! The place itself is also nice and there's plenty of parking within the mall"
"Ordered the chashu ramen and sesame chicken to go.The chasu ramen seems like their regular/most popular ramen which is a pork broth with bean sprouts, green onion, fried onion, nori, egg, pork chashu, and bamboo shoot. It hit the spot for a good ramen - I really liked the broth but I wish they included a little bit more pork in it.The sesame chicken were more like fried popcorn chicken. It wasn't as fried as I would have liked it, but I also think it was more due to eating it from take-out than it being a fried issue."
"Ultramen restaurant is just amazing in every way you can think of. They have a fantastic selection of tasty dishes that are a feast for both your eyes and your stomach. And let's not forget about the ice-cold beer! It's definitely refreshing. Ultramen also creates a wonderful family vibe, making it a great spot for kids to have fun too. Thanks again for such a lovely evening!"
"Got there right before the rush. We had a great server who had some good recommendations and was very attentive. I needed veggie ramen to get over a cold. Vegetable Miso Ramen hit the spot! Came out nice and hot. Wife got the same but added chicken broth for a change in flavor. We got a side of rice for the kiddos and Naruto buns (my kid ate the bun and left the rest for us). Nice spot, with good service, my wife and kids all felt satisfied."
"Made a 20min drive out to check out this 3 time Michelin Star winner restaurant. I am surprised to see reviews on bad customer service because our experience was nice and it was busy. I can understand maybe a language barrier with the gentlemen bringing out the food but our waitress Yoshiko (name on the receipt) was great and taking care of every single table. It is a small place so expect a wait at peak hour. The food did not disappoint everything was great. I would not make the drive out but I'd definitely pay them another visit if I'm conveniently in the area."
"The tsukemen was good and flavorful! They use my favorite type of noodles for the ramen and load you up with the toppings, which I thought was very generous. If you check in on Yelp, you get 2 free toppings, so I definitely took advantage of that! Our server Tristan was so amazing and hooked us up with free sides/toppings for us to try. They were the perfect pairing to the meal!"
"Heard many great things about this place so decided to check it out. Located in a plaza with many other food shops right next door, but noticed that 80% of the people were eating this ramen! There is plenty of seating outside where this ramen place as well as other vendors will bring out the food to you if you choose outside seating. We chose to sit outside because it was a beautiful weather and wanted the fresh air. My bf and I both ordered the shoyu ramen and I added the garlic and house spicy sauce to mine which were free! Service was pretty good, they brought out the food at an efficient time and did check on us throughout the meal even though we were seated outside. The ramen was incredibly flavorful and I could see why it is popular. I would rate it a 7.5/10 as I have had better but it is still a good ramen spot to checkout. Total came to $38 for two bowls bc they automatically add a 10% gratuity fee. Great place and location! Check it out if you are in the mood for ramen!"
"I have been on a Ramen kick lately and find myself coming back here more than other shops in the area. The broth is just perfect. The sushi is great as well."
"The place is cute and has very nice interior decor! We were seated in the booth area in front of the neon signs and I was so happy to see the sign. It was a good experience! We both got the classic combo with different side dishes! Our server was nice and quick when it came to ordering. The food was good. Rich and creamy broth."
"My nephew craved ramen lately so we decided to find a few places to try. We decided to come here after I got off work. Guess what? Best ramen decision ever!! When we arrived we were seated pretty quickly. My nephew ordered the Ajitama Ramen. I tried some of the broth and wanted more lol it was so rich in flavor. It wasn't too salty. It was a perfect bowl of ramen. The noodles were fresh and tasty. I literally wanted to just take his bowl lolI ordered the Spicy Tsukemen (dipping) Ramen. It was okay, imo. The noodles were thicker and not as soft. I actually was a bit tired from chewing it lol the broth was cooked with fish sauce so it was salty. I also find it annoying to keep dipping the noodles into the sauce broth lol this also made the noodle and broth cold quicker. I am not a fan. I rather order 2 bowls of the Ajitama ramen lolMaybe the Ajitama ramen was just too good lol =] i m still thinking of it.Recently, I tried this other ramen place. It made me realized that Tsujita here in SG is such a gem! Why go the distance...one of the best ramen places is just nearby =]"

Love this sushi spot! For a chain, this hits the spot.We were contemplating trying out a mom and pop sushi spot in the West Covina area, but have been let down a few times recently, so opted for a bigger chain-ish restaurant and it did not disappoint. We got there pretty late in the night, but service was still fantastic. We ordered sake, seaweed salad, blue crab sushi, salmon hand roll, washington roll and the green dragon roll. For a party of 2, we were STUFFED by the end of it. Everything was fresh and really hit the spot for us.I highly recommend and cannot wait to try the Alhambra location during HH!

A coworker took me here for lunch since she recommended it for ramen and I haven't really been exploring the ramen scene around the area. I always pass by here being in the plaza for Daiso and Sup so was happy to finally give it a try.She recommended me to try the kitakata ramen and honestly it didn't disappoint! It was a very simple dish just ramen, broth, chashu, and bamboo shoots. The noodles were interesting because they were a lot wavier than ones I'm used to but I liked the texture of it. The soup was nice and light which I really enjoyed. The chashu though!! It was salted enough but also so tender and flavorful I was surprised! I reaaally enjoyed the chashu and would definitely recommend it to a friend to try.My coworker got their tan tan noodle and I got to try her broth. I'm definitely getting that next time. I enjoyed the chili oil flavor it gave as it felt gingery and sweet, and not just a pure hot oil.Overall was pleased with the meal and would love to come back! Service was on, bare minimum I'd say and I went during a not so busy time.

My go-to Ramen place! Their broth is so creamy, and flavorful. The ambiance is casual, but the service is great! Ordering to go is great too! Have come here as a family, date night, & with my kid. It can get a bit loud if it is busy, but it is worth it for the food!

Hands down, one of the best sushi and ramen spots I've ever had the pleasure of dining at - Giant Sushi and Ramen truly lives up to its name! The quality of the fish was exceptionally fresh and of high-grade quality. The portions were HUGE - you'll definitely leave feeling satisfied and already planning your next visit!Their sushi rolls are creative and delicious, but my absolute favorites are the Monster Roll and BTS Roll - you won't regret trying them! And don't even get me started on the Spicy Garlic Edamame - it's a MUST-ORDER appetizer that will leave you craving more! The service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was lively and inviting. Overall, Giant Sushi and Ramen has earned a loyal customer in me, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience!

What do you do when one person is wanting ramen and the other person wants sushi? You find a place on yelp that offers both and to our surprise this was the perfect spot with well deserved reviews. We were seated quickly and ordered a pitcher of Kirin. We were given nice cold glasses, the frost still on them which was a perfect touch. Sushi rolls were delicious and came out quick. Also when we checked-in, we got a free egg roll! The place itself is small, feels cozy but not bunched up. Overall, had a great time checking out a new sushi spot and would return to try other items on their menu such as their udon.

I've been enjoying the food here for years. Tao is well known for its miso and tsukemen ramen. If you like miso-style ramen, this place is for you. Although I have to watch my sodium intake these days, I occasionally treat myself to a heart-warming bowl or one of their rice bowls. My go-to ramen is the tsukemen, which has cold, thick noodles and warm, miso-savory broth. The Chashu Red Miso Ramen has a flavorful, bold broth and thick noodles. The chashu slices have a meaty texture, and have tender fat ends. If you like food with a kick, check out the spicy options. The regular-size ramen is also filling and more than enough for me to finish. The chicken ramen is also a delicious option if you prefer a lighter yet flavorful broth. The thin noodles and chicken slices were cooked well. Combos are also great options if you are hungry. The gyoza and karange are my favorite starters. Don't sleep on the rice bowls! My favorite is the Beef Bowl, reminiscent of the Japanese-style gyudon bowls from the most popular franchises in Japan. It features thin-cut meat with fatty pieces, sauteed onions, and a flavorful sauce that seeps into the rice. The staff at Tao has been consistently kind and accommodating every time I've dined here. Despite the limited dining space, the service and food quality make it worth the visit. It reminds me of a local ramen joint in Japan. I'm glad there are more top-rated ramen options in OC. The story behind the chef and shop is also interesting and available on their website.

"On cold days, a big bowl of hot noodle soup always sounds so comforting and delicious! The shrimp broth is what Le Shrimp is known for, but I wanted to switch things up from my usual order and try the spicy chicken broth with delicious dark meat chicken and wide noodles. This dish really hit the spot! The chicken was tender and full of yummy five spice flavor, and the noodles were chewy and extremely satisfying. The broth was just spicy enough and very savory. I couldn't get enough of it!Would definitely order this again and I think it would also be a really nice dish if I'm feeling under the weather. Service was friendly and the ambiance at Le Shrimp Noodle Bar is casual. They're pretty efficient too so we got in and out fairly quickly.Look forward to our next visit!"
"They are super friendly and the food is delicious. The salmon burrito is so good(sorry, forgot to take picture), they use soy paper so don't worry about your carbs. perfect protein for the day"
"My fiance has talked about San Sushi many times, this has been their go to Sushi place even before we've met! Located in Old Town Placentia, this place is quite charming, has a small mom and pop vibe with friendly staff and expedient service. Being this was my first time and heard so much about it AND I was really hungry, we ordered quite a bit. To begin with, we started with the: *Calamari legs - perfectly fried! I really liked it, tender, flavorful and not gummy. We jumped in right away with the Sashimi and ordered the Sashimi Sampler! not going to beat around the bush but if you want an instant wow, then try this sampler plate! a trio of Tuna, Salmon and Yellow tail, so fresh and delicious, it just melts in your mouth good! oh, one more thing, make sure to order a side of Premium Wasabi with it - you will not regret it - TRUST ME!For the rolls, we ordered:OC Sunset - so good and delicious! I love the generous slice of salmon on top! and this roll isn't small mind you, it's a mouthful!Fire Tempura Roll - I like this a lot but I am still partial to any rolls having a generous amount of fresh fish on top lolSummer Night - I like how fresh and delightful this roll is. A combination of tuna, salmon, yellow tail with Avo & Cucumber - it's like summer in your mouth :PFor two people, I think we ordered quite a bit but... we ate it all!I really like San Sushi, good food, friendly service and I love the neighborhood sushi place vibe - definitely in my places to re-visit!Kampai!"
"New fav spot!10/10 super delicious! The staff is always chill and very friendly! They're serving up amazing hospitality! Also, the cooks know how to get down on the food! Shout out to the server James today! He was very sweet and helpful!"
"Always a great experience at Ramen Mira. Food is always delicious. Today I got the Special Combo Habanero Ramen and a side of Gyoza and my husband got the Special Combo Habanero Ramen with the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice. Ramen was flavorful, hot, spicy and filling. Perfect for a rainy day. For the first time, I tried their Gyoza and Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice and WOW delicious, full of flavor. Highly recommended."
"Honestly, this is my go-to ramen spot in the Fullerton/Anaheim area! The ramen is always a perfect 10/10, and I love that they offer more than just pork broth options for non-pork eaters. I usually go for the miso chicken and make it extra spicy!**Plus, all their fried sushi is amazing."
"Let me start by saying that this place came highly recommended by a friend.I did not think my sushi was fresh. It had an old taste to it that did not make it pleasant - at all. On top of that, there were many gnats flying around our table. It was disgusting.Service was not that great either as 2 of us were served their food and had to wait 5 minutes for our friend to get hers. Speaking of hers, they forgot to bring her a bowl of rice that she had ordered, so we had to wait a bit longer for that. With so many sushi options around, I don't think I'll try this place again."
"Great food and service. Quick and friendly people. Nice place. I like the chashu bun appetizer a lot!"
"Super friendly staff - i would come back just for the people here. Every single person working here were so nice and friendly - not in an over-kill way too. There was a bit of wait but the food and people definitely made it worth it. Very clean table and utensils. I liked that I can just order and pay on my phone. So convenient!"
"BEST RAMEN EVER! This location is particularly nice because it's bigger and the wait usually isn't bad compared to the Costa Mesa location. Also plenty of parking! My husband RAVES about the Green Chili Shio Ramen (Regular $15.95) and from what we've seen, this is the only place you can get it. It's perfect if you love spicy food.I personally love the Miso Ramen, substitute chashu for tofu (Regular $15.95). It's super flavorful but not overly greasy and the noodles are thick and chewy. This is generally our go-to ramen spot. You honestly can't go wrong with any item, including the delicious appetizers!"
"8/1/23 A solid choice! I wanted noodles and sushi so this was the obvious remedy, snd it was hubby's pickOur server, Kelly greeted us with a bright smile and told us we could sit anywhere of our choosing. At about 5 pm there were only a handful of patrons. This place is a small restaurant amidst a myriad of eateries in this very busy plaza. For Artesia/Cerritos standards, parking spaces are very small & cramped. We ordered the Tampopo Ramen sets, mine with (ramen) spicy tune sushi & hubby the sane but with teriyaki chicken. We were both famished as this was our first meal of the day. Additionally, I ordered the Tampopo sushi while hubby: salmon Fire sushi. It's true what they say about not shopping while you're hungry coz we ordered with our eyes & stomachs. Yup, it was a lot of food!! The dishes arrived promptly & we dug in-the broth was savory & full of flavor while the ramen noodles was just right in consistency-oh so good. Too much rice on my spicy tuna so I removed some-luckily hubby ate it with his teriyaki chicken. He loved his salmon fire sushi but the sauce was a bit sweet. The tampopo sushi was pretty good & very filling although I would not order it again-the fried flaky garnishing was too overwhelming. They were generous with the avocado filling. One other server, a young man continued to tend to us while Kelly took care of everyone else in the restaurant. We will definitely return whenever the mood strikes for both ramen & sushi."
"Oh my gosh, another hidden gem discovered by yelp! Hole in the wall gem that definitely didn't disappoint and so happy we decided to try here. Craving ramen and picked this spot. Wanted to be cute and sit at the single spots just like they do in Japan but they also had tables for parties of more than one. Garlic Bomb Ramen was exactly that, Bomb! Love that you can pick Shoyu, Miso, or Spicy Miso base. Opted for Miso and it was just how I like it. So funny, keep in mind they have 20 levels of spice. The worker said it starts to get painful around level 5 haha! Also loved the pork buns! Soft bun, soft meat, tasty sauce and refreshing greens. Will definitely come back :)"
"Very low-key place that serves both poke bowls and ramen. Definitely a mom and pop shop that has pretty good food. Service was very quick at lunch time and easy. Apparently they also have online ordering which could be helpful. I also noticed their prices are pretty affordable compared to other poke places now starting to increase prices. I was pleasantly surprised how good the bowl was given it's not a super fancy place. It's kind of like a dark diner vibe with not a lot of light or modern seating. Like I said, a mom and pop shop... So don't expect fancy anything!"
"Food: good. Service: nice chef and attentive serverAmbiance: quiet place . Good for working on laptop."
"HIRO Ramen & Udon is my favorite spot for some bomb.com yummy udon. Omg... I wish this place was closer to me, but unfortunately it's not. So whenever I'm in SoCal, I have to come here at least once or twice.I love the U2 Niku Beef Udon. It's perfectly flavorful, delicious, and just food for your soul...and belly. :D It's perfect. I have not tried their ramen, but I'm pretty sure they're good too. I'm just really hooked on the udon. What can I saw.. I'm committed to it. Hehe.. It's really easy to order through the touchscreen, and the service is pretty quick and friendly. I love the self-serve additional things that they have such as the pickled radishes and crunchies. The place is decorated beautifully with the Japanese touches. The bathroom is clean. They have chill music playing. I just simply love this place. I can't wait to come back again the next time I'm in the area. :D"
"Nice authentic affordable ramen. Especially love the marinated garlic to go with the ramen. They also have special bundles for ramen + side + drink. Service is super quick and staff is all very friendly."
"Surprisingly good sushi! I was not expecting what I received because I am selective with my sushi. I ordered the Jessica roll and it was 1) enough of fill me up 2) flavorful 3) good presentation. The service was quick and nice. The place is small which is a little off putting but other than that. If you are craving a good sushi roll, I suggest this place e"
"Cece in the front kindly greeting customers, bringing out food and taking orders. There isn't a lot of room for big groups inside but we managed to get a table. I ordered the Chicken Veggie Ramen with a boiled egg added. They charge .50 for chili oil. Also the last call for dine is 10:30pm since they close at 11:30. Also, a 15% tip is automatically added to your bill. They sell macaroon ice cream sandwiches! Definitely recommend this ramen spot for a chilly day."
"Great restaurant! One of my favorite here at the spectrum. The dumplings were my favorite! And the vibe was very relaxedThe staff were friendly! Make sure to ask for Ian! Took care of us and our family ."
"Absolutely everything was delicious! I ordered the spicy miso ramen and the Alaskan roll. Sooo so good! Definitely will be back again"
"BIG YUMMM! I was craving ramen (which is very rare for me I never crave anything outside my 5 rotating dishes) and I did a lot of yelp digging and so glad I found this place. I got the spicy ramen & deep fried California roll and everything was a 5/5. Price was great, parking was a breeze, and service was excellent! The place can be a little cramped so not recommended for big groups outside of 4 people."
"From food to service to atmosphere, this place was the perfect spot for a casual dinner. My girls and I were deciding between a pho place or this and ended up siding with this spot for their extensive and interesting menu. Also we love that this location is spacious because we had a baby with us. Parking was really easy here as there were plenty of spots open. For our food selection, we got the cold tofu, cucumbers, both types of spicy wontons, Le Shrimp trio broth noodles (with thick noodles), and the crispy chicken rice bowl. Everything had such great flavors to it. My favorite of the night had to be the cold tofu and it might be because they used silken tofu. Obsessed with how sweet, savory, and soft it was. We were pleasantly surprised at how affordable everything was. Our total bill came out less than $70! Honorable mention to our fantastic and only server of the night, Truman! He did an incredible job at helping us out and accommodating a lot of our needs. We also loved how playful he was with the baby at our table. Thanks Truman for making the experience even more wonderful!"
"Came here by chance, after being at Dripp next door. They kind of share the outside patio, however the restaurant cuts off half for their patrons only. We ordered jalapeño poppers as an appetizer, spicy but delicious!I ordered the Philadelphia roll and a draft Sapporo to go with it. Roll was a good size and tasted fresh. We ate on the patio since it was nice and shaded with their pergola. Service was very friendly. Overall I'd recommend and come back."
