"I was driving home from LAX with a friend and craving Hawaiian food so we looked up on the Yelp app and found 808 with some good reviews. This is one of those times when unfortunately the food did not live up to the reviews. The galbi was literally burnt and shriveled (see pics). There was barely any meat and what was on there was so overcooked. It tasted like beef jerky. I can't believe they would serve it like this. Giving them two stars because the loco moci my friend ordered was at least edible even though we both agreed that meat was also overcooked.. Disappointed, and if I hadn't been so jetlagged, I would have complained and demanded my money back, but at that point, I just wanted to be done and leave as I was exhausted. Maybe some of the items are better on the menu, but I would stay away from the galbi."

The customizable Poke Bowls are a medium portion for $10 and all their rolls (that I've ordered so far) come with 8 pieces instead of 6. We order 3 rolls when we get takeout and can finish it in one sitting. I've had the Pokerrito before - not big enough to have leftovers but still satisfying.Service: I haven't dined in yet, but takeout is usually fast. I recommend ordering ahead on their website. It's a mom and pop shop so if there is a rush of people, then expect a wait. That being said, I've come in during regular lunch/dinner hours and I've never seen more than 5 parties in the restaurant at a time.Ambience: very casual, not super well lit, there are boxes everywhere. Quality: 7/10, but you get what you pay for. Sometimes the rolls fall apart. Unagi is good, shrimp tempura is soggy (takeout), salmon is decent. They forgot (?) the tuna in our Jessica roll and replaced it with more salmon, so I can't speak for the tuna quality .Bottom line: It's not the most extravagant place, but it really satisfies the craving for sushi/poke at an unbeatable price."

Service is super friendly and accommodating.I usually call in my order and the food is ready within a reasonable time - not as quick as fast food, but not as long as a sit down restaurant. A comfortable in between, so call ahead if in a rush.The staff, maybe owner, appears invested in healthy eating which elevates my trust in the ingredients of the menu offerings. The staff member helping me seemed like he was in a rush to get through my order, but slowed down his pace once he realized I needed to process my options.I ended up doing a medium size poki bowl, which comes with three scoops of protein with half/half of brown rice and salad. I really did wish that they had more spicy options for protein, but ended up getting the salmon, shrimp, and shoyu salmon. The toppings were pretty slim to pick from too, but I ended up asking for spicy mayo, spicy imitation crab, edamame, green onions, pickled radish, ginger, tempura pieces, and fried onion pieces. Then I grabbed a can of Thai tea from their fridge. The food was good and I kind of wished I did two proteins instead since it was a lot of food. I definitely would choose to stick to just rice since I wasn't a big fan of the mixed greens for the salad part and would also ask for more sauce as well."

The service was wonderful and they did an amazing job explaining everything.They have a lot of tea and boba drink options. We ended up with a mango black tea with lychee jelly and a black tea with lychee jelly. Both were large, delicious and refreshing.Now for the main event! We got several poke bowls. They have several options to choose from. You can build your own bowl or choose from one of the set menu items. We got a set unagi bowl. The set options only come in medium size. There was a lot of unagi in the bowl. It also came with quite a ln assortment of vegetables as well. The unagi was fatty and delicious. We also got a set beef bowl. Lots of tasty beef on a bed of rice and a good mix of vegetables. We also builbuilt a bowl. I got a large and that comes with 3 scoops of protein. I choose tuna. Salmon and albacore. I had it placed on a mix bed of white rice and mixed salad. Then went to town by having them add just about every option they had from vegetables to the various sauces. All of the bowls were delicious.We also got a couple of macaron Gelato sandwiches. We got a Thai tea and rose water. Both were great and a great way to end the meal.Large portions and friendly service make this a place ai can't wait to get back to."

For protein, I love their fresh salmon, shoyu salmon, and spicy tuna mixed with wasabi Mayo. Toppings included cucumber, corn, pineapple, seaweed, green onions, masago, and ginger. They also had dry toppings like crispy onion flakes. Overall a solid quick poke place with a great variety of toppings and fresh fish."

Usually avocado is always extra but i love that it is included in here! I usually will get salmon as my protein . They mixed it with all the sauces i wanted which was the uroko sauce, sesame oil, chili oil and spicy Mayo. Love the fried onion toppings and tempura! It totally makes it BOMB! This shops is nestled in a bustling Asian strip mall and the setting is fast casual. The first time I visit I ordered a regular (three scoops) with hula rice (purple jasmine rice) and salmon belly. I've never seen salmon belly as a protein option so I decided to get two scoops of that and one regular salmon. The salmon belly is much fattier so it has a more lush taste versus the regular salmon cut. Patrons customize the toppings and from all the poke shops that I've visited I really like the offerings of this one. The service is also kind, and fast. The shop is kind of out of the way for me since I'm not in that part of Westminster often, but if I'm in the mood for salmon belly, this is a good option, but do come early as they run out of salmon belly later in the evening.
