"We're new to the area and found this place based on other Yelp reviews. We decided to order takeout from here for our visiting family, who are all pretty particular about Persian food, and it was a hit. We ordered the family combo for 4 people and were impressed by the generous portion sizes. The koobideh kabob (ground beef) was delicious, the barg kabob (filet) was very tender and juicy, and we all really liked the chicken tender and chicken koobideh as well. The rice portion was extremely large, I felt bad because we wasted so much of it. My only complaint is that the yogurt sides we ordered we were very small, probably meant for 1-2 people, not a family of 8. I wish they would have told me that over the phone so I would've ordered more, or at least offered a larger size for the yogurt sides. Overall their food was delicious and good quality, we will order from here again!"

"It's about time. After driving by this Newport Beach gem dozens (if not hundreds) of times I finally had the opportunity to stop by for lunch. Tidepoole is well known to both the locals and tourists of Newport Beach. Their storefront is front and center on PCH, so it's truly hard to miss. I stopped by today after attending a nearby yoga class and grabbed a bite to-go. Their menu was straight forward, with options like sandwiches, pizzas, light sides, etc. I ordered the Charlie Sammy: sourdough, pesto, artichoke, provolone, tomatoes, and arugula. I also paid extra to add chicken as protein. The meal was delicious and served with a sliced pickle. The restaurant was close to empty, but I bet it stays jam packed during the summer months. Despite the slow season, parking is still tough. You'll find street parking available in the nearby residential neighborhoods. Luckily it's a nice walk, so don't let this small hiccup keep you from visiting!"

To the manager who got upset and stormed off because I was right and they owed me money back .I called and asked if they had heart shaped pizza , the guy (Luis) said yes and asked what size . I was like cool I didn't know they had a large so I ordered that . Then I added another pizza and wings .When I get there I check and I have a regular Pep and no heart shape . They go ask Luis who took my order, he lied and said I never asked about a heart pizza !! Are u kidding me .Both of these workers were teens and big liars ! She made it seem like I'm the liar and never ordered that but they would make it and it will be another 20 mins ! She said we won't charge you but that it's more .When I came back and got the receipt I seen that she lied and I paid more for the pizza they got wrong and charged me for than what the heart shape pizza was . They had to call the manager . She was acting all rude and when she realized I was right she stormed off and told the one nice person who works there to give me money back . Idk why she is made at me , her employees are liars and don't care for customers, the people paying their wages !! Spent $75 here and will NEVER be back .Don't go here , stay away !
