"Ordered through doordash. We got the green chilaquiles, asada burritos, chicken taquito and horchata. They were all good! This is my go to spot for mexican food. I'm a LA/East LA girl and I couldn't find a good Mexican restaurant until this spot. The green chilaquiles was a good spicy. The beans had flavor. The taquito wasn't burned thank god lol def will come back again."
"I was on my way to pick up dinner at another nearby Mexican place when I saw the long line at this taqueria, so I decided to get food here due to popular endorsement.Obviously, I did not order online ahead of time, but I didn't have to wait long. I got my food in about ten minutes, with a cabeza taco plate and two fish tacos. I drove the loot to the Kaiser Downey hospital, where my dad was hospitalized. The food filled my car with the sweet taco aroma during the drive, and even the hospital receptionist commented how good it smelled. I felt bad for her because I couldn't share any of it with her.It was a different story after I took the first bite into the tacos. It was good, but it didn't knock my socks off, and I wasn't even wearing one of those anti-slip hospital socks lined with traction pads. The rice and beans were also mediocre. I devoured them because I was hungry, not because they're particularly tasty.I learned that just because something is popular doesn't mean that it's guaranteed to be good."

"So I buy Aurora's chorizo every year for my family's pototo and chorizo taco tradition on Christmas morning. I used to go to the one in Santa Ana and was sooo happy when they opened this location. Aurora's is seriously the BEST chorizo around - I have tried a few others and nope, not even close. They are also so nice and always beyond helpful. Just a great family business that sells an awesome product! HIGHLY recommend!"
"This place always hits the spot! The freshness of the ingredients is evident. Perfect for lunch on a summer day or cruda Sundays. The Samurai tostada is a must try!"
"This place is ridiculous! The food, service, and friendly conversation. I could be spokesperson for this location5 times in 8 days....working my way through the menu. This is the Paramount location where Manuel and his team are holding it down! I have no doubt they will be successful and keep the city fed! A++++ all the way around!"
"We had the absolute best experience at El Torito for Sunday brunch, all thanks to Ernesto! From the moment we were seated, he made sure our party of 8 celebrating a birthday felt completely taken care of.Ernesto was attentive, friendly, and incredibly efficient--he never missed a beat, keeping our drinks full, ensuring we had everything we needed, and doing it all with such a warm and welcoming attitude. He made the birthday celebration even more special with his genuine hospitality and top-notch service. If you're dining at El Torito, ask for Ernesto--he truly goes above and beyond! We'll definitely be back, and he'll be a big reason why. Thank you, Ernesto, for making our brunch so memorable!"
"It's about time. After driving by this Newport Beach gem dozens (if not hundreds) of times I finally had the opportunity to stop by for lunch. Tidepoole is well known to both the locals and tourists of Newport Beach. Their storefront is front and center on PCH, so it's truly hard to miss. I stopped by today after attending a nearby yoga class and grabbed a bite to-go. Their menu was straight forward, with options like sandwiches, pizzas, light sides, etc. I ordered the Charlie Sammy: sourdough, pesto, artichoke, provolone, tomatoes, and arugula. I also paid extra to add chicken as protein. The meal was delicious and served with a sliced pickle. The restaurant was close to empty, but I bet it stays jam packed during the summer months. Despite the slow season, parking is still tough. You'll find street parking available in the nearby residential neighborhoods. Luckily it's a nice walk, so don't let this small hiccup keep you from visiting!"
"I feel like tamale season is basically upon us, so I stopped by to try this place out. I gotta say I was pleased with their cheese and chicken tamales. I also had their carnitas plate which was pretty good, but I feel like they specialize more in their tamales. The service itself was great, and it was such a cute little establishment to enjoy a meal in."
"We were really impressed with the one & only server on a Thursday for lunch. She handled all the tables herself. Took orders, delivered the plates, kept our drinks topped off. All with a smile on her face. I ordered the shrimp gobernador, he ordered the 3 tacos: carnitas, Al pastor, and carne asada. We tried their shrimp ceviche and this was the star of the show. It tasted so good and fresh. The restaurant has a nice vibe to it. Colorful wall art and the bar area was really nice, stocked, and organized. If they really wanted to, they could turn the place into a bar/lounge at night with a DJ and it looks like it could be a real fun spot. Tons of parking shared with the rest of the plaza. Cute waiting area once you walk inside. Try this place out, you won't be disappointed."
"Fui a comer aquí con mi familia el sábado Ya q mi hermano siempre viene aquí Me invito a comer para celebrar mi cumpleaños.Yo ordene ostiones, camarones costa azul y tacos gobernador de camarón. todo deliciosoY las micheladas que no falten La mesera bien buena gente y siempre al pendiente de nuestra mesa Muchas gracias nos vemos pronto"
"I got a tostada to go. It was very good. Everything was fresh and the chicken was well prepared. I especially liked the added flavor of the pinto beans. It also came with chips and salsa. I didn't dine in so can't comment on the ambiance."
"I don't know why this place doesn't have great reviews. My husband just went and got my hungover self some pozole and..... it was amazing!!!!! I live in Yorba Linda and it's hard finding something that isn't bland, authentic or a fast food chain! The pozole was super hot (temp) so taking it togo was perfect. There was a good amount of vegetables, pork and hominy! This will be my go to spot when I'm craving a hot bowl of pozole!"

Ordered the green chicken enchiladas and it was pretty good. Traditional rice and beans. Initially the guy who answered was rude but a sweet lady called back, apologized and helped us order to go. Thanks for calling back!! Ordered take out and would likely return for some pretty good quick food

I came here with a friend for Taco Tuesday. We ordered the taco box with 10 tacos, chips and green + red salsa. At first glance, the box reminded me of Tito's. The flavor...not so much. I like the fresh and crunchy taco shells. I am mostly pescatarian and was bummed that they didn't have a potato or vegetarian taco option. The chicken tacos were just okay. There wasn't much flavor. My friend had the carnitas and asada tacos but ate one chicken. He said next time he'll get all chicken. The chips were very good. Both salsas were okay. I prefer more chunks and less liquifying. Seating is outdoors so ordering g to go is the main option. The jury is still out on whether the food is worthy of the prices.

My fiancé and I were in the mood for ceviche this weekend and stumbled on this place on Yelp. It only had one review but we were intrigued since it was close to our home yet had gone unnoticed. So we hunted out the place and found it in a commercial office area next to the Fullerton Airport. My fiancé is a bit of a connoisseur when it comes to ceviche and was a bit hesitant when he realized that there were no seating available. However, we decided to stay when the server (possibly owner) came out and was super friendly. He explained they had only been open for a month with little marketing so that's why there hasn't been a whole lot of reviews. We ended up ordering the fish (Pescado), shrimp and yellowfin tuna ceviche. The fish and shrimp were prepared in traditional ceviche manner with lime while the yellowfin tuna was more like poke with soy sauce. All were served with tostada and crackers. We ended up eating the ceviche in the car and really enjoyed it. A few hours later, my fiancé had the leftovers again for dinner and he said the extra time marinading actually made it even better. My fiancé and I are extremely impressed and can tell the chef has worked professionally and this is not his first rodeo. The ceviche is definitely worth revisiting which we plan to do. We just hope they expand their opening hours/day.

In the area on a Sunday evening and I placed an order to check out Fatima grill. I enjoyed the meal and the portion was enough to have lunch for tomorrow. Service was friendly and attentive. I will definitely be returning!

Food was amazing, the amount of flavors that are packed into a sandwich alone was impressive. Fresh ingredients, great serving sizes, and customer service was awesome. My family of 5 stopped by this cozy spot after spending a day on the beach. We were starving and everything we ordered from here hit the spot.

I've been going here for a bit. And noticed I never gave it a review. Implausible! So this place is ran by a husband and wife team. Their food is clean and phenomenally delicious! Tamales are full of meat when they have them. And the carnitas is cooked to perfection. No fatty parts on the plate. The asada is great as well but they don't have a steak it's chopped already. I prefer a piece of meat. But again no biggie. The rice and beans is classically perfect. And the corn tortillas are fresh and everything is packed just right. Have to try their pozole. Eat in or take out. Both are great. The restaurant isSuper clean including the restroom. And the dynamic duo are always happy to see you. 5+ stars! Oh and pricing is very fair for the level of food. Check them out.

"Received exceptional customer service from the manager and Evelyn. They went above and beyond. Not to mention the food was amazing. I will keep coming back to this location all the time."
"This place is absolutely amazing!!! Should be a line out the door! Super fresh Seafood and my favorite is the Shrimp Tostada and Shrimp Diablo plate with beans and rice! Also, cleanest kitchen where they are chopping up fresh herbs, vegetables and peeling the shrimp. A MUST TRY!"
"Oh my goodness. This is the only places where I could eat the beans because I don't really like beans. The portion was great and the food was really good! Probably one of the best Mexican restaurant I've had. However, the wait was soooo long. We had to flagged down our servers so many times and our food took about 30-40 minutes to come out even though there were only 3 tables at the time."
"If you want authentic street tacos, this is one great place to find them! It's a mom and pop kinda place with grandma in the kitchen making the whole place smell wonderful! I had a couple carne asada tacos that were outstanding; two warm tortillas piled high with meat, topped with fresh chopped cilantro and onions. And then a healthy amount of this amazing salsa. Sometimes we bring home extra salsa for our breakfast tacos or burritos the next day! Oh my, what I wouldn't give for this recipe! My handsome hubby had an el pastor tacos which looked almost as good as my tacos. He said they were very good, everything freshly made! We sat outside and enjoyed our tacos. It's a casual hangout with good food and cold beer. I could have sat there for hours, enjoying the breeze, good food and Many of these reviews mentioned the outside crew as "loud drunks" but we sat pretty close to them. It's a small group, having a drink and hanging out with family and friends. You know they're good guys because when Grandma comes out, one of them jumps up to get the door and it's the same when she goes back inside. It's a great little gem, almost hidden in plain sight on Tustin Avenue. You should swing by today and check it out!"
"NEXT LEVEL FOR SURE! The New Ownership is dominating! Not your typical Mexican food. Analilia is such an amazing chef omg I can't even describe. I'm such a foodie and most Mexican spots are pretty basic but Not here! She really takes things to another level and puts artisan touch on everything. She makes everything g from scratch, super authentic! I love it so much :) Then now for the holidays she's even doing catering orders which are insanely beautiful, delicious and convenient. This is not your basic holiday meal, she really puts so much heart and flavor even the neighbors were asking if I cooked, yeah right I could never make dishes so pretty . Highly highly recommend, especially catering orders call ahead for a meal to wow your family and guests!"
"Been here a few times, the first thing I tried here are their amazing crunchy chicken tacos. But I tried the other location off State college I believe. So delicious they are filled with so much shredded chicken, lettuce and cheese. It's a bit oily but the crunch on the shell is the best. Today got a Chicken Tostada Salad, the Tostada shell was crunchy airy and fun to eat, the chicken is shredded like I like with lettuce, tomatoes and pico. The bottom had beans and rice, the shell was delicious to scoop up all the salad parts with and eat together with salsa. Sort of thought it would come with dressing but it didn't that's ok the green salsa made it delicious. It's not my go to Mexican food choice but I do enjoy their crunchy tacos and tostadas. They are pretty nice here as well the lines for the drive through can be super long sometimes too and smaller parking lot. Would recommend trying this place, not a fan of tomatoes honestly and asked to not have any on there but there was a lot it's ok though still ate it lol. Have a beautiful day :) be kind to everyone Aloha"
"Food: 5*Service: 5*Ambiance: 3*Very nice neighborhood spot. Tons of locals. It seems everyone knows one another. The establishment also appears to be family owned. The campechana was ample and very good. The menudo was delicious as well."
"Hubby and I live close by, and have come by before COVID and during COVID for either their restaurant items (which we'd take to-go) or something quick from their market area. Regarding the market area, I feel like they cater more to the restaurants close by in case the restaurants run out of ingredients. For example, the ground beef has around a 25% markup if you purchase here versus going to a chain super market. Since it's more of a "emergency" price, I completely understand and would pay the premium if I'm being too lazy to drive out to a nearby supermarket.Regarding the restaurant menu, we've had a good chunk of their menu by now, and have noted that they're pretty consistent. In the past, during a Tamales Fest, we'd honestly go here to order some items to go. Of course, anytime there's a Tamale Fest, EVERY restaurant (with some exceptions) will be extremely busy with a long wait time. Otherwise, on a normal day-to-day, we can probably receive our goods in around 15 minutes or less. Piping hot straight from the stove and into the to-go containers!Prices are decent. For the flavor, quantity, and how it tastes like it's catered to be authentic cuisine, I'd pay the price for their meals versus going to El Farolito. There's a parking lot closer to the train tracks, or behind the Q Tortas. Please don't park in any red areas, unless you don't mind your car being dinged up as large cars/trucks try to get past your car. Would come back again!"
"Food is always delicious! I love their super tostada salad and everything else I've tried there. A bit on the pricy side."
"Food overall was okay. Filet Mignon tasted better than Asada. The Shredded Beef taquitos appetizer is very good. Guacamole not impressed. Ceviche way over priced $25 for 3 very small portions. Tacos were okay, tortillas were way too greasy. Transferred to flour tortillas. The green salsa is very good and tasty!Ambiance for Sat night after 5pm was great. Super busy for small place and great music and choice of music. The bar was full and no empty space.Service was decent. Did not clear plates enough especially for very small tables. Reservation for sisters bday of 8 people and they awkwardly place one square and one round table together. Not convenient, or logical."
"We have been here numerous times and have taken friends and family. Each time it has been a great dining experience with delicious food in a beautiful space. Last night was no different. It was a very busy Saturday night and we had to make reservations. We waited just a bit but that was to be expected because the place was buzzing. Our family was served by Natalie and she was fantastic. Her presence made it a memorable dinner. It really shows how excellent service can make or break a dining experience no matter how delicious the food. She was on top of it even with how busy the restaurant was. Our water was topped, our chips and dips were switched when low, she checked in at the right times to make sure we had everything we needed but wasn't overbearing. The food was excellent and she brought out plenty of boxes for leftovers along with items to bag up chips and dip. I haven't had such great service in a while and this was comparable if not exceeded nicer restaurants like The Ritz. We walked away impressed and very happy with our meal. The food (amazing every single time) and ambience (a variety of seating styles that are all very comfortable and stylish) is always great here, but the service definitely made this meal. Thanks to Natalie and the wonderful staff for always making it so we are looking forward to coming back."
"This place has been around for many, many years and the food here is as good as ever . They have old family recipes with an attentive and friendly service every time you come in here . This place is old school Santa Ana and will be here for many years to come ."
"The place is rustic and the service is excellent. This restaurant is close to the Roswell museum. Not too many places to choose from around there. The Mexican food is very good but I would label it under Tex Mex. The pablano chili relenhos were a warm heat. Served with the typical Spanish rice, pico de gallo and refried beans. My son had the stacked enchiladas which is layers of chicken, salsa, flour tortillas with a sauce and cheese on top. Served with Spanish rice pico de gallo and refried beans. The salsa was mild and Not too flavorful which was served with the chipsThe servers we friendly. Prices are comparable."
"I came to this night club after dinner with my hubby & BFF. I didn't know what to expect as we pulled up to the parking lot. I was happy to see lots of cars besides our but the best part was that there were still plenty of parking left for us. This seems adventurous because we all can't speak Spanish & we're going to a new Hispanic Night Club in town!As I walked up to the entrance of this night club; their security stopped me to check my bag. He says that it was protocol but was very nice about it. As you know most security guards could come off very intimidating. After the past the bag check; a waitress promptly greeted us & took us to our seats near the stage where the live full band was playing. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed so we were only able to order drinks & enjoy the live music. I went to the restroom to wash my hands before our drinks cans out; to my surprised; it was very happy that it was fresh & clean! The music got me to stay a little longer even though I didn't have anything to much on. They were very good at what they did! I enjoyed every beat but was too shy to go up to dance on the dance floor all by myself. My husband's friend Jorge came yo our table to join us! He was very cool! Jorge broke the ice & brought us to the dance floor to take some selfies for memories! I thought it was cute that he asked me to text him the photos to share with his wife. I will definitely come back next time with our friends to taste their foods & dance the night away to the awesome music that their live band played."
"The quality of the Chilaquiles dish and the service is in sharp contrast to the atmosphere. The little corner strip mall is a bit run down and has a CircleK that can be downright scary at night. I ate my breakfast in the parking lot on a clean table under an EZ-UP but I left like a million bucks because the service and food were so good. The Chilaquiles here includes a piece of carne asada, two eggs, rice and beans. You choose red or green chilaquiles. I ordered at the counter and went outside to sit down. You need to know some Spanish but everyone was nice about my horrible attempts at speaking. As soon as I sat down, someone brought me a chipotle salsa, an avocado salsa, and a basket of chips that have been lightly covered in beans and cheese and toasted. A free appetizer, nice!Later the huge breakfast plate came out as you can see in the picture. Rice was perfectly fluffy, with a taste of tomato. The beans were creamy and had a hint of pork and epazote flavor. So good! The piece of carne asada was thin flap meat pounded and thoroughly cooked but had distinctive Asada flavor and wasn't too chewy. I appreciated that there was no fat or gristle so I could eat the whole thing easily. The eggs were prepared as I requested (broken yoke) and the whites were crispy. The star, the green chilaquiles, was delicious - piquant, tangy, sour, and rich all at the same time, like a good enchilada sauce. The chips were fresh, thick triangles - some tender from the sauce and others crispy from the lack of sauce. Garnish was some queso seco (dry, crumbly, salty Mexican cheese) and crema (thin sour cream). I cleaned my plate and now it's time for a siesta."
"Food:Tacos - Carne Asada and Al PastorHaving been to the location near Dodger Stadium in the past, I was super excited when I saw that there was an Angel's stand near my house. Like the other locations, the Al Pastor is the king here. It is flame grilled on the trompo (rotating spit) and then thrown on the flat top to give it an extra crisp. The al pastor tacos are 5/5 and its worth getting the al pastor on whatever you decide to order. The carne asada is okay, nothing special, and definitely not as good as the al pastor. 3/5 on the asada in my opinion. Tacos come with cilantro, onion, avocado spread (think like a lite guac), and salsa.Restaurant / Service:The stand is on the side of the street, so there is no seating, but parking is quite easy. Something about eating tacos on the hood of a car never gets old to me. The service was okay, they were not overly friendly, but they were not mean at all.Notes:Tacos are $2.75 each."
"We were in the mood for real Mexican "street tacos" and this popped up on my Yelp! It's a food truck parked on the street so no place to sit unless you have a pick up truck to tailgate. We had the carne asada, Al Pastor tacos (amazing) I had a muleta with asada (yummy and in comparison to a crunch wrap from TB but better minus the sour cream) and they let us try an asada sope! In addition we had a real Coca-Cola with real sugar in those cool bottles from Mexico! Everything was very tasty. Only complaint, there is no bathroom, no place to sit or wash hands, so bring wipes and hand sanitizer! We will return. They also cater. Cash only and I found it more pricier than the average taco shop but worth it!"
"I stumbled upon this place by chance while in LA for a workshop. I was initially skeptical since I didn't have much time to read all the reviews beforehand.I was on the hunt for authentic corn tortillas that aren't made from Maseca, and I'm so glad I found this spot along the way.Their process stays true to the authentic tortillerías in Mexico, and their carnitas and chicharrón were absolutely delicious. The lady helping me was incredibly kind--she even let me sample a bunch of items when I told her how excited I was to have found them. It's a shame they're so far away, but now I know I have a go-to spot whenever I'm in the area for a little taste of home.If you're looking for authentic corn tortillas, this is the place!"
"DELICIOUS. As a veggie they have been very accommodating to my taco orders. Meat eaters also claim this place is great."
"I have rated this restaurant 5 stars because it's an overall "what you see what you get" kind of place. I don't think it pretends to be anything more than it is. It's a place where you can go and get good quality homemade food, comfort food. The micheladas are a MUST try! Trust me and get one, you will be thinking about it for days to come. The menudo is great, what you would expect a mama Mexicans to make. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I specially appreciate Maribel, her smile is contagious. I came for the taquitos, but stayed for the micheladas."
"1. The meat in the taco definitely had the kbbq taste!2. The spot has fun casual vibes!3. There are few indoor tables!4. The staff were friendly and timely with my tacos! He gave me the horchata immediately after paying!5. Parking lot is easy since it does not get crowded!Note: I did not easily see a customer restroom available!Photo: Aguas De Horchata and Korean BBQ Tacos"
"Great customer service and Authentic Mexican food. It's like a home away from home. Yes the place is not trendy, and the decor might seem just ok, but don't let that fool you. The food is amazing. It's tasty and delicious. Every time I come to visit my friend, I always end up stopping by here. I truly love ordering their Chicken Taquitos with refried beans only (my preference). The taquitos are moist, and completely full."
"Tiendita is a quick-service food stand for take-out only. It is part of the Centrico and Paseo family, and Chef Carlos Gaytán's heritage inspires the menu offerings. I've had a chance to try a few items, and the food is pretty tasty. The Carne Asada Quesadilla was delicious, with flavorful meat and gooey cheese. The Carne Asada Tacos were street taco size; the asada was savory, but some pieces were overcooked or too chewy. They have spicy red salsa or chili verde to complement the tacos and quesadillas. The Street Corn is an enjoyable side that goes well with any entrées. To quench my thirst, I tried the Jamaica Agua Fresca; it was refreshing and not overly sweet. You can order through the self-serve kiosks or the cashier. If you have a Magic Key annual pass, you can apply your discounts through the staff. Prices reflect Disney property prices, but it's still a good option for craving Mexican-inspired food.Although this establishment does not have inside or patio seating, some tables and benches are available around Downtown Disney. It also offers outstanding customer service. Hopefully, my initial rating will be consistent for future visits here."
