"A friend of mine invited me out to lunch and chose this restaurant. It was my first time. This is a Mediterranean restaurant. Since I was a guest, I did not get a chance to take a photo of the menu, hopefully there might be some photos from other yelp reviewers.Isabel, our server explained to me that their specialty are their Mediterranean bowls. They allow you to choose your protein And two sides and two sauces. They also had Mediterranean plates and salads and a variety of soft drinks and other beverages.Isabel was very attentive, and polite. She allowed us time to discuss business when she returned we ordered and within 10 to 15 minutes we had our food.I have visited other Mediterranean restaurants and I would have to say this one ranks as one of the best. What I liked about my bowl was that the rice was fluffy? The chicken was very tasty and tender. The house sauce was smooth and creamy and of course the avocados and beets were a great addition. My host and his colleague had been here before and they rave about how good it is.Along with our bowls, we ordered french fries and pita bread.Although the restaurant appeared to be small in size, it was not too noisy in spite of the fact that they were quite a few guests. As I stated before, I would definitely come back to this with my wife."
"Medii Kitchen had been bookmarked for several years before trying it for the first time last year. Everything looked so interesting yet very delicious and I have not had anything like it before! We went on a random weekday morning right when they opened up so the place was empty. We were greeted and seated right away. Here's what we ordered:**Cheese Boreg: Very delicious! The puff pastry was nice and fluffy with a cheese filling. It was airy enough but filled with a perfect amount of cheese. It was served piping hot and tasted really fresh. (5/5)**Soujoukh Panini: One of the most interesting sandwiches I've ever had. It was sweet, salty, and savory. The fries were also crispy and very delicious. (5/5)**Chicken Shawerma Wrap: A very solid shawerma wrap with a simple side salad. (5/5)The appetizer we were served was absolutely delicious. The pita chips and tapenade were one of the best thing I've had in a very long time. The service was great in the beginning. We dined alone for the first half of our meal but two more tables filled up for rest of the duration. Near the end when we were waiting on our check, the two ladies working the front would not stop looking at their phones while chitchatting with their backs turned toward us. Another 5 minutes go by and we were finally able to wave our server down. Besides that one hiccup, Medii Kitchen is a restaurant everyone should try at least once in their lifetime!"

"Today once again, I visited Sahara Falafel. The customer service was warm and welcoming. The food was exceptional, well seasoned and portions were great. I ordered the combo sandwich and my husband order a falafel sandwich along with a humus plate. Deeelicious! It was so nice to dine in and pause for a moment from our busy day. Thank you, (JazakAllah khairen) Sahara Falafel for being a halal staple in our community."
"Fun Middle Eastern Experience.....Pros: Excellent food. Big menu. Very friendly service.Cons: Parking can be tough during weekend eveningsStar Ratings:- Overall: 5- Location: 4- Ambiance: 4- Menu: 5- Food Quality: 5- Food Portions: 5- Service: 5- Price: 5- Value: 5- Parking: 3My wife and I were in the eastern suburbs of Los Angeles during the Veterans Day weekend to celebrate a milestone birthday in the family. On Saturday night, 9 of us went to a long time favorite restaurant in the heart of Fullerton.....Les Amis. Here are the pros and cons:Pros:- Location: Central. Right in the core of downtown Fullerton (which is also a con...see below).- Menu: Large. Les Amis bills itself as "Lebanese", but the menu had lots of Middle Eastern favorites from areas outside Lebanon.- Quality of Food: Excellent. My wife and I had the "Mediterranean Shrimp" platter ($31) which they describe as "skewers of shrimp with vegetables in a cayenne pepper, lemon zest marinade and garlic butter sauce accompanied by hummus, pita bread and side salad". It looked and tasted as good as it sounds.I don't know what other members of the family had, but everyone seemed satisfied. The table shared 2 plates of a dessert called "Chocolate Biscuit" ($9) which was pudding inside a soft biscuit served in bite sized pieces. It was mighty good.- Service: Very friendly. The owner's family took care of our large table and were always around to help out.- Atmosphere: Casual and popular. Most of the tables in the main room and large outdoor patio were occupied during our 90 minute meal. Nice vibes.- Parking: Plenty when it's not busy. Not much on a weekend evening.Cons:- Location: About a block from the Times Square of Fullerton which means the location is easier to find than parking on weekends.....even though there's a big lot right behind the restaurant.- Parking: See above. It just depends on the day and time.Overall, Les Amis is a fine choice for Middle Eastern food with a focus on Lebanese specialties."
"Meet up with a good friend over lunch , my friend and her boyfriend who is Persian. This was my first time having Persian food and let me tell you, my taste buds were going crazy!! All the different flavors were amazing. I have to say Persian food is interesting and good experience. Super nice authentic Persian Resturant , food is great but the best thing about it is the owner attitude who serves us him self with a big smile . Food is fresh and tasty , atmosphere is nice and simply and the prices are reasonable. If you're seeking an authentic taste of Persian hospitality and culinary mastery, look no further than Darbari Persian Grill. It's an experience you won't soon forget.4.5 star ."
"We first ate here before the remodel. We perfer the old look that had an exotic.Foods are always good. The sauces are what make me want to come back again and again."
"Another hidden gem in a strip mall, this time in Cypress. The outside looks older and the menus/signs not well maintained, but don't let that deter you from trying Mama's Kabab. Ordered the combo plate with salad which had kafta kebab, chicken kebab and I think beef shawarma with a generous serving of salad and hummus as well as pita and garlic sauce. The chicken and beef were both fantastic; both tasty and tender. The only complaint I have is the kafta kebab was a little overcooked and thus dry. The pita was okay but also a little dry.Reasonable price for a generous portion. Team is quiet but welcoming. Would definitely come back if in the area."
"Wow! Why did I not try this place sooner! This is the BEST Persian Resto I've ever had... like the meat is just so tender that melts in your mouth, very flavorful and juicy! The Ambiance inside feels like home with well decorated walls and fresh plants. The Service is great... the waiter explains what their popular ones, the owner was actually watering the plants that is so awesome like everyone just helps each other. I and husband will definitely come back here again and spread the word! Viewers this is a MUST try and its worth every penny, as the quality and cost is very much affordable... huge savings if u dont finish take it home! Keep it up you guys! Kudos!"
"The ingredients here are so fresh, and the chicken was grilled beautifully. I got a bowl with half greens, half white rice, paprika chicken, an assortment of veggies, three dips, and topped it off with sumac and roasted chickpeas. I'm sorry the picture isn't super aesthetic, as I started eating before I took the picture. The roasted chickpeas were so delicious - crunchy and somehow slightly chewy at the same time. It feels like cava but more authentic when it comes to the ingredients and spices. The lady serving us was very kind and helpful as well. There's three tables inside the restaurant, so not too much seating just fyi. I'll be coming back again soon!"
"Our friend took us to this restaurant to have dinner and listen to the live band, unfortunately the live band is on vacation this month. This place has a cool vibes to it. It has some beautiful pictures of the Greek Isles on the wall and in the bathroom wall. Our server was good. We ordered Mousaka, Stuffed Bell Pepper, Greek Salad with Gyro. Every dish was delicious! The Gyro was tender and moist. The Mousaka was well seasoned. Definitely will come back. This is one of the better Greek restaurant in OC."
"It's all about the food the ambiance and vibe. I have eaten here for many years the restaurant is setup and located inside the liquor store in back of the store they only have a two sets of two person seating tables it's clean the staff are chill always nice and ordering is easy low key just order take it home is what most people do. Chicken Kebabs Grilled perfectly and seasoned well it comes with rice a small salad and hummus and pita it's very good and that salad dressing is the bomb I'd suggest you buy an extra one and eat it with the chicken this meal was a 8/10 it was so good I ate all of the salad and had a lot of rice and chicken leftover. Hummus delicious but the pita bread is mid and not homemade it will do but I prefer it made fresh. 7/10 Strawberry cheesecake Delicious very buttery crust and soo good. Side salad I ordered a larger one to go and bought an extra salad dressing that was divine it's a yogurt based garlicky sauce and I love it. Green sauce For dipping the chicken in this one is tasty. Tsaziki sauce Creamy garlicky and soo bomb I always buy extra. I definitely recommend that you give them a try there's so much more on that menu grilled salmon beef kebabs falafel gyros and more. Just me Shawn C. ; )"
"Luna Grill was just okay. I ordered a salad and was immediately disappointed when I saw the dressing came in a clear plastic packet. It tasted exactly how it looked--bland and watery, completely ruining the salad. The ingredients were fresh, but without a proper dressing, it just felt uninspired. Service was good and the space was clean with a modern casual vibe but I expected something much better food-wise. It's convenient if you're in a hurry but there are definitely better Mediterranean options."

I had been looking forward to trying Aleppo's Kitchen after seeing it on TikTok, so we made a trip from LA to OC just for this. First off, great parking--plenty of space, which is always a plus. The decor is really nice, with a lot of beautiful dallahs, ibriks and Arabic books. I also noticed the independent Syrian flag in the middle of the restaurant, which was a nice touch. We went around noon, so it was pretty busy. They seemed a bit understaffed, so service was slower, but it didn't take away from the experience too much.- Falafel Bowl (half mixed greens, half bulgur, tzatziki, house sauce, tomato, cucumber, feta) - Fresh, but nothing special. The falafel was crunchy and hot, but not particularly exciting. The tzatziki was pretty standard, but the house sauce was great. Overall, a solid Mediterranean bowl, but not something I'd go out of my way for.- Potato & Za'atar Flatbread - I love man'oush, so I was excited for this. Unfortunately, the za'atar flavor was too weak making potato the dominant flavor. It felt like it was adjusted for a general audience rather than capturing the bold za'atar-forward taste I was expecting.- Mama Suher's Yalanji - Really good. Very bright, zesty, and rich in olive oil. My partner tried it for the first time and loved it. If you enjoy stuffed grape leaves, this is a solid choice.- Cheese Rolls with Akkawi - Super warm and crispy on the outside, with chewy, slightly salty cheese inside. I'm not the biggest fan of akkawi, but these were really well done and apparently, the cheese is imported from Syria. Definitely worth ordering if you like akkawi.- Mediterranean Trio Dip (Muhammara, Hummus, Mutabbal) - Comes with two pieces of pita. The hummus was pretty basic, nothing standout. But the mutabbal was really fresh, and the muhammara was excellent. If you're a fan of dips, I'd get this just for the muhammara and mutabbal.- Desserts: Ashta & Knafeh - I always order knafeh at Middle Eastern restaurants, so I was excited. It took a while since they make it fresh, which I appreciate. But when it arrived, it was really hot and dry, like they forgot to add rose syrup. A bit disappointing. As for the ashta, it wasn't as milky or creamy as I expected. I think they should offer different variations of knafeh (cheese vs. ashta).Aleppo's Kitchen is a great introduction to Syrian food but still leans toward general Mediterranean flavors, making it more accessible to people unfamiliar with Middle Eastern cuisine. If you're looking for bold Syrian flavors, you might not find them here, but it's still a solid spot. I'd bring friends who want to try Middle Eastern food for the first time, but I wouldn't drive all the way here again specifically for it.

Always great food, great service. It's always busy! Recommend making a reservation or going with time especially if it's a weekend. They are also able to accommodate large parties. Service is fast and great. We love their hummus, Greek salad, quails, kebabs, sangrias, lab chops

wow Shawarma!!! If any one really understands what does Taste means , then definitely I recommend you to try Sahara Falafel . Must try it. It's really mouth watering food. They choose shawarma ingredients for the best flavor and of course for stomach healthy food. Many people make shawarmas but taste is not in everyone's hand. So go to Sahara Falafel then you will FEEL what I wrote about shawarma here for you . Bcoz I am taste lover and I know what taste means . Not by words but practically by taste of food. Owner is very nice humble person and whatever you want from him , he will make accordingly for your taste. TRY

The food at Les Ami is excellent! It's a Mediterranean vibe and the decor is amazing. They even have live entertainment some days, you can call ahead and find out. There is a large, nice patio to dine on or inside at tables or the bar and there's also a speakeasy that opens at night. We were just popping in for a drink and appetizers, so we tried the garlic shrimp and the fried cauliflower. Both were wonderful! I highly recommend Les Amis and will be returning again soon. The owners could not have been any nicer.

It's a hidden gem located off the 55 freeway on the same side of the street as Mothers Market. Parking available in the back but limited. If you're getting food to go, definitely call ahead! The food is made to order. I had the boneless chicken and beef koobideh while Stephen had the Lubia Polo with a beef koobideh. It took about 20 minutes for the food because a larger group was ahead of us.While waiting we got a basket of lavash and butter. The portion was generous but less rice than most places. Everything was delicious but my boneless chicken was a wee dry or overcooked. Overall a solid 4 stars experience

"One of my favorite spots in the area. Great friendly service - Giovanni! Love his recommendations. Great sized portions. Plenty of proteins, sides, and topping options. Freshly made so it does take about 10 min. Everything is fresh and made to order. Clean and casual. Plenty of parking, easy to find, and yogurtland is next door for dessert! (I ordered the chicken and steak kabob to go)"
"Yelp did not disappoint! I ordered the salmon plate and my husband ordered the beef kabob. Both were delicious!! Portions are generous too. The patio music was so fun! I felt like dancing Zumba. :) Will definitely be back to this place!"
"I love GGs. It's been around for so long and it is just as good now as it was YEARS ago. I love the tabouli they have and highly recommend!"
"This is a solid spot on Main St with a huge menu. They have a large dining room with a classy feel to it, but it's not a fancy place by any means. My coworkers and I came for lunch and sat on the patio, each of us ordering from the lunch menu. The portions were substantial and the prices were fair. They seemed a little short staffed but we had everything we needed. There were people that simply popped in for a drink at the bar as well. The menu is mainly Mediterranean but they also have items like pizza or pasta. I had the Gyro Pita which was very tasty. The fries were basic though, the frozen kind that come in a bag. I can definitely see myself coming back here frequently now that I work in the area again."
"We were surprised to learn of a place that was open so late in our area and decided to check it out. We arrived around 8:45 and ordered, took a number and found a table. So, people were generally nice. There was a manager (owner?) walking around to greet people and one of the two girls working the cash register was very friendly...the other was new-ish.Anyway, long story short, the food is GREAT. I got chicken + beef koobideh platter (chicken was slightly better) and hubby got the lamb tongue sandwich which he loved. We also shared a falafel platter. BIL ordered he thought was chicken but was given a steak kabab ??? Couldn't really tell as the meat was blackened but the texture was that of steak. Whatever it was, it was pretty tasty. We were given a ton of taftoon (flat bread) for our entrees. That being said, the food did take a LONG time. By the time we got out of there, it was 10:30pm. I mean, we're pretty patient people but were getting a little hungry when our food finally arrived. Except BIL's. His took another 15 minutes and when we inquired, we were told the chicken takes longer to cook??? So I want to say it was over an hour by the time we got all our food. Not sure if we'll be back - will likely stick to to-go orders but it was nice to know we have an option for late night eats that isn't a drive-thru. The place was inexplicably packed for 10pm on a Friday night, with a party of 20 people showing up for a birthday party. Check it out but make sure you have plenty of time."
"Food is amazing! My favorite was the gormeh sabzi which is a stew served with rice. Came in late night and was served very quickly. They definitely have great quality food."
"Went to Wood and Salt Tavern to celebrate my friend's birthday and have to say this was a great choice! We picked the carajillo for our drinks which was a great recommendation as we both wanted an espresso martini. The short rib hash was perfect. Juicy and and tender the meat was amazing with the egg and hash! The chicken Parmesan was a great choice too! The cheese on top was just the touch that made it next level! We were so surprised when our server brought in the birthday ice cream even though we didn't mention it to him! Although he did see our IDs when we got our drinks, it made us feel good that he was attentive!"
"Irvine Grill in the Quail Hill Shopping Center has become one of my favorite weekend indulgences. This charming Persian restaurant never disappoints with its flavorful and delicious cuisine. The Persian rice is simply irresistible, and the Koobideh combo is always a must--my son insists I bring it home if he's not dining with me!While the indoor dining area can get busy (a testament to how popular this place is), I always opt for the lovely patio seating. There's nothing better than enjoying a meal al fresco, especially with the consistently beautiful weather we have in Southern California. The service is warm and attentive, and every visit feels like a treat. Irvine Grill is my go-to spot for authentic Persian flavors, and I can't recommend it enough."
"Great service. Very attentive staff. Naomi checked in at each table to ensure guests were enjoying their meal. Great food!"
"I have told so many of my friends about this amazing restaurant! The food is absolutely amazing and so yummy! But, for me it's all about Jacob! He's amazing , his service and personality are 100% what you want when you go to a restaurant. I love his beautiful latte drinks, pistachio, rose and my fav is the lavender. Thank you so much Jacob for outstanding service!"
"Food: 4 starsPrice and Quantity: 5 starsService: 3 starsI totally understand why there is always either a lot of customers waiting to be seated, and what the hype is about. Every time I had passed by, or was in the area, there were always a crowd of people, so I knew I had to put it on my "to try" list - though it took me a few years to visit, until Black Friday (of all days). As I was waiting for my friends to arrive (which I purposefully arrived 15-mins early to see if I could add my name to the "possible" waitlist), the restaurant started to fill up by 12:30 pm (both the interior and the patio seating). We opted to sit outside as the inside was full, and it was a bit more "airy" outside as well.Hummus Trio (A Must) $9.99Combination of Garbanzo, Spicy Red Bell Pepper Hummus (switched out for Tzatziki), and Edamame Hummus. With the cooler weather, 2 (out of 3) of us also asked for hot water with lemon, which they also never refilled... good thing I had water in my bag as I was getting thirsty. When the entrees were brought out, I was surprised at the portions! Those are not 1-person entrees, they are totally shareable and I was amazed at the affordability of it! (Just the other week, I had Mediterranean down the street - which I will not name the restaurant, the to-go portion was like a child's meal and it cost me in the $20's for an entrée and the quality was not even up there.) I had the Charbroiled Chicken Shish Kabob and the chicken pieces were very tender and I loved the grilled vegetables. The Mediterranean Greek Salad was fresh and very tasty. I do wish the pita bread in the Humus Trio was a bit warmer, but it probably got cold as it was sitting on the table, outside on the patio.Everything tasted delicious (quality) and we all had food (to share) or for dinner. I would most definitely return and try the many other dishes that caught my eye. Great place to meet up with friends and catch up as well. Service is a bit on the younger side, but they are very kind. Due to the smaller storefront, I see why there could be a wait for a table, so expect a wait during busy times. Parking can also be a bit difficult with the amount of storefronts in this plaza."
"Unassuming in a strip mall behind Mr. V's Bar and Grill, but we were extremely impressed with the quality and taste of everything we ordered. We were coming here after walking the SFS Swap Meet for hours, so we were hungry and the food and portion size did not disappoint. We ordered the falafel plate, tabbouleh salad, grape leaves, and a cucumber yogurt salad. The pickled vegetables were crisp and fresh. The grape leaves were tart and bright and the falafel was crispy on the outside and steamy on the inside without being too greasy. We had a great meal and would definitely come back."
"Came in on Friday nite, what a hidden gem! I ordered the chicken and beef plate which was $17.99. It's a bit pricy but kid you not...it's worth the price. The plate is big enough to share with two people. The meats are tender and flavorful. The rice is just cooked right with good taste of salad on the side. My partner ordered the falafel salad which was full of flavor also. Falafel isn't dry and not overly oily or heavy dressing. It came with a basket of pita bread huge portion. We can't wait to go back!"
"Koftegi, "maker of meat patties" is a hidden jewel tucked away in a few miles of mini malls with dozens of restos clinging to life in Little Arabia. Most of those places have their cadre of regulars despite sticky carpet and a perpetual layer of Hookah smoke floating inside at eye level. Koftegi ain't that. It's spotless and inviting. Wander in and a pleasant fellow takes one last bite of his Falafel and stands to greet you. He'll walk you to any table you like in both dining rooms. A Turkish/Arabic loop gnawed at my Western musical sensibilities until I appreciated it's calming effect. The din of Turkish spoken here will eclipse the music and the Flatscreen showing reruns of Mucize Lezzetler anyway. As you sit down and make your nest, the Host hands you a 28 page Menu that resembles a High School Year Book. There are glossy photos of everything on offer. That'll get you salivating like Pavlov's Puppies in seconds. The Meat is all Halal, so open your Paypal. The food is healthy but it doens't hurt to be wealthy as the pricing is up-market. $15.99 for a small bowl of Tabbouleh Salad. So, don't be bashful and bring a bag that's cash full. Like good Olive Oil you get as much quality as your budget can handle. On the plus side, the food is fresh, well prepared, made to order so nothing gets parched and dried out under a heat lamp. The portions are heroic and the food delicious. No matter you'll take half of it home any way to serve as a platform for your morning eggs if you can find them and still afford them. The Menu features Turkey's greatest hits. While Turkish cuisine can be complex and elegant, this is comfort food doing it's job, making you full, happy and happy you came here. There are only a couple of authentic Turkish spots in SoCal so this is definitely worth a try. The Staff: Other than the Host, there is only one waiter. The work at the tire shop must have been slow and he landed here. Never mind, you came here to eat, and good food takes time to get from the kitchen to your plate. Here it is, now yemek! The Decor: Look Mom they shrunk the Grand Bazaar. Who goes here? Pats and Ex-Pats and the odd culinary adventurer, me. The Food: You already have the idea. The food is good here. It is. Help yourself to a huge helping of Hummus. Creamy and tangy with a wading pool of excellent Olive Oil and a sprinkle of Sumac. Juggle a thin Pita the size of a Hummer Hubcap and go to town with this. A lovely Green Salad with a light Lemony Dressing rides shotgun for the Garlic Chicken Garlic Chicken were Thighs marinated in Garlic, Yogurt and the usual suspects, Sumac and Za'Atar. The mound of Chicken chunks were grilled just right. Still moist and tasty as your secret Chicken fantasy all nestled in a warm Pita to soak up the juices. This dish comes with a mound of Rice, a Roasted Tomato, a Jalapeno should you need a treat of heat and a cup of pure lip puckering Garlic Paste to slather over everything you can reach, (except your date). The Beef Shish Kabob required a construction permit. Tender Rib Eye pieces stacked up like Legos. Cooked perfectly, oozing Beefy juices and still crispy at the edges. There are lot's of choices on the Menu as long it's Beef or Chicken. Vegans need not apply. Dinner will be ample and hardy, perfect for a cold night in So Cal. You know, when it dips to 68 degrees. It's wonderful even if it's 80 degrees in the dead of Winter. Koftegi will serve you well as it's truly guzel."
"I love the Kabob Shop. This location is great. I like that they also have kids plates. We have been to several locations and like all of them. We have been to this location the most. The lamb is always very good. They give a large portion and it goes great with the rice and the Mediterranean Salad. This combo is nothing but flavor. The salad is always fresh and the olives used are flavorful! They have the yogurt and the condiment bar and you can take as much as you want without paying extra. The restaurant is clean. We are always greeted by nice people and get good service. This place is fast, easy, and reasonably priced. It is one of my favorite places to go for a flavorful and more healthy eating option. The Kabab Shop..another reason the OC is the best place to live!!!"
"First time trying this restaurant. First of all the service is really good. The employees come around the tables to find out if everything is ok. However, since you order your food before you sit down people can take a table and even though you were their first. It would be fair if you can only get a table after you order. For the food we ordered the appetizer sampler which was good. Also, ordered the grilled shrimp place with cauliflower rice which was good as well. Our last dish was the seared ahi salad which was bad. There was no sear to the ahi and it was very bland. I will give it another try and hope the food we choose next time will be tastier."
"Buddy picked this spot after the gym and it was a great find. He ordered the gyro plate; I got the chicken kabobs and a few dolmas. Team here is quiet but friendly. Both plates were good--he said the rice was good, not great. I subbed the rice for salad which I enjoyed. Also subbed the hummus for tzatziki which I'm happy about. It was so good. Make sure to ask for their garlic sauce--tasty! The chicken was juicy and tender; the gyro meat was less exciting but did not lack in flavor. One ask would be to add a combo plate so you can try different proteins, but it worked out for us since we were able to trade. Dolmas were tasty."
"I was in the mood for someMediterranean food and decided to try a new place instead of my usual place. The service: 5 stars. The woman up front at the counter is phenomenal. Very friendly and personable. She made us feel very welcomed. She even gave us a free pita. The food: 4 stars. My husband and I shared "the works" plate. I'm glad we decided to share, it was a lot of food! The rice and chicken were ok. The beef, kafta and falafel were absolutely delicious! Loved the falafels so much. The humus and pita were good as well. The vibe: you can tell this is more of a take out place, the inside is small and there are no public restrooms. We did eat there and it was nice enough for a quick lunch. Overall 4.5 stars, I'm glad I tried a new place and I'd come back here again."
"What a lovely place to grab and bite. Sit down or take it to go, the food is great, reasonably priced and worth every bite! Especially for weekends they have a kids eat free, so after a fun day at the mall stop by with the family! I truly appreciate the staff and their patience since it was my first time here and there are so many options. You can do a wrap, bowl or plate and there are many wonderful combinations that I wish I could have tried all in one go. But I decided on a grilled chicken bowl with fries and rice, and all that comes with. I did get to try all the sauces and let me say YUM. There are plenty seating options and self service for utensils, fountain drinks and sauce. The time i visited it was not super busy but as I ate many families and others came to dine in or grab pick up. It's a lively atmosphere and the playlist was on point that day. ++ After eating I felt full of energy in the best way, the portions and flavors just have you feeling great and excited for the next visit at this establishment! Overall 10/10."
"I really like Mediterranean food but, this visit was a little disappointing. Earlier this year, I raved about Panini Kabob Grill in downtown Los Angeles. So I thought this Cerritos location should be very good too.On a weekend afternoon, the parking in the plaza where this restaurant shares w/several other businesses is super busy! Cars eagerly await other cars to exit. The front of the house welcomed us but, chose to seat us right next to another family only separated by the glass wall. We opted to move to another table and there were plenty of other tables available. The starter pita bread and hummus was tasty and the hubby got their namesake panini. He liked what he got. I liked my salad and falafel wrap. Just wasn't wowed by anything we ordered. The DTLA location is definitely superior to this one.Just OK at 3 stars and probably would not return to this one."
"Went there Sunday night 7pm for their AYCE Iftar Buffet (Breaking of the Fast for Ramadan). The place was festive. The selections were amazing. Soups, dips, veggies, stews, meats, rice, fruit, desserts/pastries.There was a raspberry juice welcome drink that tasted like rosewater. It was so good, I must've had like 3 glasses. They also gave out these luscious dates to snack on before the main meal.We got to enjoy:- lentil soup - Excellent- Spinach type of watery soup (meh)- This cabbage slaw that was in a light vinegar with blonde raisins and oranges, it was SO GOOD- So many pastas- So many dips: besides hummus, there was babaganoush, something with crushed walnuts, etc.- Salads- Pickles of all kinds- There was the main dish: Roasted lamb over rice, so very good!- There was this beef roll wrapped in pastry dough, the filling was so delish, savory, a touch of cinnamon, sweetness, etc. it has it all!- So many things I cannot nameI think the mint red tea is extra, but it was such a nice way to end a great meal!Parking is kind of tight but there is a very capable parking attending helping and guiding everyone. After 8:30pm, they start to bring out all the hookahs so it can get really smoky. But still thinking about all the great food from last night! OMG so good!Very festive, party like atmosphere. All the staff were so hospitable, and efficient, they get you all that you need!"
"What a delicious meal! All the food tasted so fresh! The chicken was so flavorful and the rice was fluffy and hot! The salad was very tasty! The crunch and tartness from the salad really complimented the chicken shawarma. I loved the mouthwatering food here! Prices were about $13 per plate and totally worth it. It was big enough to make two meals!Service was friendly and quick. The restaurant is clean but nothing fancy and there's plenty of parking out fI would highly recommend eating here!"
"Unfortunately, nothing memorable about the food. I came here for lunch on a Monday. This place is called California Pita Grill, so not sure if there was a switch in owners. First time coming here, and probably last unfortunately. There are a lot of options here. I got the chicken pita wrap combo with Greek salad for an additional $3.50. Total came out to be about $12.50 which is not bad for lunch. The combo comes with a drink as well. The lunch portion size is enough to fill you up with just the wrap alone... but the chicken was extremely salty and sour. I should have gone to Doner G's instead. I took out most of the chicken because it was so salty. The Greek salad was okay, although it too was doused in sauce also. Better luck next time."
