"Walked in (without reservations) with my family. Huge place. Plenty of seating. Super nice lady and great service My kids ate free. No charge. Yay!The service was great. Lots of water next to you (in the push cart) and lots of napkins also (in the push cart at the bottom right drawer). $35 for cheapest lunch menu per person. It's all you can eat. It's so good. There are only 5 diff meats but the meats were good. The noodles were good. The rice was good. Omg I also ordered salmon sushi just to try out. So funny but their salmon sushi was fresher and more delicious than an actual sushi place! Couldn't believe how good it was. I got fish filet also. My kids love fish filet so it's always a must order for me. I got the bone broth. And also got the chicken with pork bone broth. Both of these are not spicy and awesome tasting. For meats - they'll give you a sampler plate if you ask. Which is when they'll give you 5 diff meats on one plate just to try a bit of everything. I did this to try all the meats. Towards the end, I recommend only getting the chuck roll and the beef plate. Both of these are amazing. Skip the brisket because you can get that meat anywhere. But the chuck roll hands down had the most marbling so it was nice and fatty haha. You walk up to grab / make your own sauces. They don't charge extra for making your own sauces like other hot pot places. Forgot to mention. At the very end, they give your kids free ice cream. At least they gave my kids some free ice cream lol. Vanilla or strawberry flavored. 100% milk and has a spoon inside. Loved it! I'll be back!To be honest, I prefer this place over Haidi Lao. Can't believe I'm saying that but this place is more delicious."
"First visit to this Thai restaurant, which is close to both home and work (for me). I had a pleasant lunch experience with a couple coworkers. Service was fast/efficient, but not overly friendly. The food was good. Parking in a private shopping center lot.FOOD: Lunch Specials (11am - 3pm daily) are served with salad and fried or steamed rice. I started with a Thai Iced Tea ($4) which was very good. We tried the Yellow Curry Chicken Lunch Special ($11.95), Pad Thai Chicken Lunch Special ($11.95), and a Pad See Ew ($12.95). Everything was served hot, and was very tasty. Most dishes can be prepared without meat, or with tofu upon request. Add Shrimp to any meal for $3 extra.I would definitely return again, and recommend it, if you're in the area."

"Recommend: yes yes!Food: delicious Service: GoodAmbience: clean inside and smells amazing in here haha. Note: this place is not an all you can eatThis place has amazing hot pot broth and it's one of my favorite place. I love their herbal/plain broth. Their spicy broth is also good. They have great selections and when u arrive, you could smell the broth from outside. Definitely recommend here if you haven't been. Also a great place to bring someone who never had hot pot before."
"Goodness, if I could live here, I would. First, when you walk in, you'll notice the servers are at WORK - they are all moving 80mph, lol and when we were seated, their pace did not change, they bring out meat so fast every round you order. It is all you can eat within 90-minutes so come hungry and ready. The ambiance is great because the space is wide open between food bars, you aren't cramped like other places. The sauce bar is huge, the veggie and seafood section is huge, and I was surprised how many cooked foods they have out - I ate so much of this fried vegetable I can't remember. Ugh. Everything is so good, you can't go wrong! I also like that the tables are well spaced out so it doesn't feel like you're sitting on top of your neighbor or shouting over other people's conversations."
"First time here. Not bad. Employees/Staff are nice and quick to bring out your items/drinks. You order and choose through a tablet. Drinks are only $1, no refills. I usually only order the brisket, so it's all the same to me. I wish they had soft tofu and also the dashi to put in my ponzu sauce. I also wish they had bigger bowls for the sauces and your food. Bowls was smaller than kid size. I would probably come back again."
"The seafood here was amazing and fresh... I recommend coming in early so they don't run out of certain seafoods... as they did not have all the clams when we came last. The service was pretty good but you do have to wave down the server a few times to bring napkins and water when they are busy.I'd give them 5 stars but their noodles are meh... and the soup I had last time was lackluster as well. So I highly recommend seafood and stick to the seafood!"
"I had lunch here with my daughter and friend. We ordered the following to share:Beef noodle soupDan Dan noodlesBeef roll Juicy pork dumpling Pork potstickers Steamed red bean paste buns Overall, we enjoyed the food here. The Dan Dan noodles were a bit too salty, but everything else was great. Our favorite were the steamed red bean paste buns. I could've eaten a basket full of those and be really happy! The restaurant is pretty casual, you order at the counter and food is delivered to the table. There is a water station with cups that is self serve. The food was tasty, reasonably priced, prepared quickly, and the portions were large."
"Came here with my mom on Thursday, February 13th at around 4 pm. It was pouring rain so it was a perfect day to eat hot pot. The place had 2 other customers. The place was very clean and the workers were really nice knowing that it was our first time eating here.My mom loves buffets so I knew she would like the concept of this hot pot place because you get to grab your food/skewers from the fridge yourself. I like that I can grab what I want to eat instead of ordering and them bringing too much of something. There were a lot of options of meat skewers and veggies. My mom and I love veggies so we loved grabbing the bamboo, sliced lotus roots, cornlettes, etc. We chose the broth with mushroom and that was really good. I really enjoyed their snow fungus soup. It wasn't too sweet. At the end of the day, I wanted to treat my mom and she enjoyed it. Also, that day we got a discount. So, I'm happy."
"We love the mala heat yet it's hella spicy but the best ways to cool ourselves down is with their appetizers and refreshing @milkisusa and Melon Korean Milk! I got the Rose Mal Tang level 1 plus cheese but no numbing added! I know I am boring but it's the best way for me to get thru mala tang. I love their creamy shrimp and that white sauce reminds me of a walnut shrimp sauce. The sweet and sour pork is actually red instead of the yellow sweet sauce we are used to at Chinese Korean restaurants. My son devoured the spam fried rice and it was filled with lots of spam. I love how Sorimmara is so spacious and bright with a ton of toppings selection and sauce bar.plus the service is very helpful and friendly."
"The food was great! I got a chicken Pho and it was absolutely amazing for a cold day. I got some garlic noodles as well and it tasted great as well! Service was awesome, Very attentive and the atmosphere is chill. 10/10 would come back again."
"We went over 2 hours before closing. Impressed with the selection & price but since they were closing soon, there weren't enough seafood options available. They ran out of a lot of them, actually. Loved the soup bases though."

Our new goto for AYCE hot pot at Tustin District. It's definitely an experience and not cheap, but their items are high quality and they have a decent selection for what you choose. We have been here three times since Prime Hot Pot has opened. All of our visits times have been exceptional. The staff is extra friendly and helpful. The restaurant is very clean with plenty of seating. We recently joined their membership for $18 a year which gives us some member perks and discounts as well as a free birthday meal. We really enjoy their soups, brisket, fish filet, and fresh veggies. They have a great sauce bar too. Their ponzu is delicious and very addictive! Only complaint we have is that the food can take some time to arrive. We have to wait awhile for our rice and soup at one point..so be sure to order a lot of items ahead or eat some of the hot foods they have available at the sauce bar. Also, the cut of the meat is sometimes inconsistent. There are times when they melt in your mouth and other times where they're a bit chewy but still good. Nonetheless, a great addition to The District. We'll definitely be back again very soon!

I love ordering here from Ubereats. They have some of the best fried rice I've ever had. I usually get the Seafood Fried Rice which just hits the spot each time. It's well portioned and the seafood tastes really good. The rice isn't too salty and doesn't have peas or carrots inside. Love this place!

Delicious spot!! It's not like your typical hot pot place like boiling point or jazz cat. This is an a la carte place with very unique meat cuts and different variety of proteins and vegetables! It reminds me of your typical hot pot experience in China where you get all the fun but weird and super delicious options like duck blood and etc! Duck blood here is 10/10 super silky and soft. So delicious. There was a type of fish cut that we got that was very bouncy and "Q"! An unlimited snack and sauce bar, you should definitely try the little individually wrapped quail eggs! Service is great and place was super clean and very nicely decorated.

Had the pleasure of enjoying this place for lunch today. 10/10 would highly recommend! The service was great! Broths were so flavorful. Do not be intimidated. We arrived at opening on a. Friday before noon. 11:30am (people were in their cars waiting for restaurant to open. As soon as doors opened a line formed and stayed that way until we left. This place is busy! Enjoyed the meats (trays of meats brought to you) and all the sides and mixings (available at the buffet area) great set up of individual hot pots. We were a table of 7 easily accommodated. Get up and refill as many times as you'd like. Fun and delicious! All families should try this at least once. Saw many different groups of options. It's delicious!

Love this place! It's all you can eat hot pot for about $30. Everyone gets their own soup base and you order everything from an iPad. The place is pretty big which is great because there is usually little to no wait. The orders come out pretty quickly so service is decent. I love the meat quality and the countless options for veggies, tofu, noodles, etc. It's a fantastic deal! The ambiance is lovely and there is also a sauce bar. Will come back soon!

Absolutely loved every dish here! They are pretty crowded on the weekends but we were able to snag a table here pretty quickly right before 6 PM on a Saturday evening.Every dish comes out piping hot! And once you order, it will come out pretty quick. It's the perfect place for a delicious family style meal. The eggrolls are super crispy, the shrimp is very sweet, and the snails are perfectly cooked! The clams are my favorite here!

I came here with family, and really enjoyed their wide variety of shareable dishes. The hot pot was really cool - an individual bowl of soup over some charcoal that the waiter lights upon dropping it off at your table. It was full of a wide variety of meat and veggies, from super tender beef and tofu, to some kind of tempura, lots of cabbage, and mushrooms. The orange chicken was some of the best I've had in a while. It was crispy, with a wonderfully sweet sauce, and tender chicken pieces. I also really enjoyed trying a couple of the dumplings that others at the table ordered.I loved the set up of the restaurant, because you find a table first, look at the menu, and then go to the counter to order. It makes it great for groups, especially if people want to pay separately. They started bringing the food within literal minutes of ordering, it was truly impressive. From there, it was nice that the dishes came out as they were made, so we had time to try everything right when it was fresh. We ended the night with some sesame balls, which were absolutely perfect, served hot and fresh, crispy on the outside, doughy and slightly sweet in the middle. We also felt the prices were really reasonable, and easy to order a good amount of food without breaking bank. I will most definitely be back here to try more dishes (I had wanted to order everything on the menu, it wasn't fair!)

I had been very anxious and excited to try MLBB. I love Hot-Pot and had tried going several times but couldn't get anyone to go with me. Finally, using my birthday as a reason, I convinced family and friends to go, so there were 6 of us total. We went on a Wednesday, so mid-week, and the place was not crowded. The atmosphere was nice, the place was clean, and the interior design of manga/superhero artwork was kind of cool.We had a litany of problems once we had gotten in and was going to be seated. We were 6 as I mentioned before, and we expressed to the host that it was a birthday celebration. Even though the place was pretty open, they sat us near the back, away from the area that holds the food and the sauces. We all thought that it must be because they will need to put two tables together. The tables are about the size of a foldable card table and would be "cozy" for a group of 4. NOPE! They stuck all 6 of us at a single table with a single burner for the group. We also expressed that one of our group is vegetarian, so we hoped that with two tables, that we could get one split pot with meat-based broth and the other we could have as vegetarian options. NOPE! The guy said that we would all have to fit at the single table, single burner. So, we did and it was miserable. We had to be extra careful pulling skewers out of the meat broth side of the single split pot to make sure that we didn't contaminate the vegetarian side. Difficult at best. We were all grown ass adults, and it would have been hard to get 6 kids to fit. They have a scannable QR code for the menu, as many places do now. I usually have no problem with that. I have a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra phone that has all of the latest updates on it. I could not for the life of me get the menu to open. One other person with us couldn't either, although the other 4 at the table could open it with no problem. I asked for a back-up hard copy menu, since even the host couldn't get the e-menu to work on my phone, and were told that they didn't have any. So, he just offered to pick some stuff for us. Nice, but I want to see a damn menu. I'm sure that we can't be the only ones that have had this menu issue, read some of the other reviews. Also, what if you get someone who doesn't have a phone, is older or not tech savvy? We, as a group, do not fit the demographic of the country of origin for this type of cooking. But 3 of us had been to a Hot-Pot before but 3 had not. When asked, we all said that we had not, just to make it comfortable for those that had not tried this before. The tutorial that the host/waiter gave was minimal. No real explanations of how the sauce bar worked, favorite combinations, types of meat skewers in the cooling units, recommendations etc... We felt like they (staff) had the attitude of everyone who comes in has done this dozens of times before and doesn't need any help.Once we all made our first round at the cooling units to pick skewers and sauces and then sat down, our area was so small that if I wanted to get back up (I sat at the back against the wall) the people on the sides had to get up to let me out to go look. Same with everyone else crammed, I mean seated, at the back area of the table.Food from the display units was ok, not great, and I couldn't really explore much else because the menu didn't work. It also would have been nice to try 4 broths instead of 2, especially with 6 people.Outside of a "Happy Birthday" from the host when we first arrived and told him, there was nothing special done by the restaurant. I'm not looking for something for nothing, but even a cookie, or a song, or a happy birthday from the other staff that came by would have been nice. They didn't even say thank you, or thank you for coming to celebrate here, or anything as we were walking out at the end. This was over $325 for the 6 of us. Very sad that we were treated so poorly considering how many places are struggling for customers.+PLUS+ They automatically added the gratuity because we were 6 people and didn't say anything about it when they dropped off the check. Usually, especially at an occasion/event kind of night out, we normally try not to look too closely at the check. Luckily, we caught it. When asked, we were told it is stated on the menu...WHICH WAS NOT WORKING FOR TWO OF US AT THE TABLE INCLUDING THE PERSON WHO WAS PAYING!I was so disappointed as I had such high hopes for a great new Hot-Pot near me. I'm not sure if I will be back as it was such a bad experience. YMMV.

"It's been a while since I've been here. Pre pandemic I believe. Prices are still fairly reasonable but the once complimentary broth are now $2 and up.There's no paper menu and you order off an iPad type tablet. Average price for a dinner combo is $25. It's your protein, plate of vegetables, rice and dipping sauce. The default broth would be the water and seaweed. It's still a good value if you're not looking for all you can eat. The 10 oz of meat was just fine for me and I left full but not stuffed."
"The food was excellent, the service was impeccable, and it was getting closer to closing time that I felt that my boyfriend bought out the restaurant to ourselves. Everyone is so friendly in there. 10/10 recommend this spot."
"The portions was huge and prices are fair. The promotion is buy 2 hu tieu get 1 free chicken rice and get 1 free drink if check in on yelp. I like their special dry noodle consisted of pork including heart, shrimp and quail egg which was delicious. Clean fast and attentive service."
"I visited this spot over the weekend with my boyfriend, and we had a fantastic experience. The food was incredibly flavorful, especially the spicy miso broth, which was perfectly concentrated. We got the lean meat, and it was absolutely delicious. The service was exceptional - the owner checked in with us regularly to ensure we had everything we needed, and as a thoughtful gesture, they gave us complimentary macarons for being first-time customers. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing, with dim lighting that created a chill vibe. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience, and next time, we'll definitely request a table for a more intimate setting. I also loved the addition of spicy drops to the shabu - it added the perfect kick. I just wish the portion of ramen noodles was larger Can't wait to return."
"I legit loved this place. It's my new favorite shabu. The service was top notch and the food was soo sooo good. The soups packed an extra punch to any other place I've been to. If I can drink the soup from the jump and it's delicious, it's gonna be smooth sailing after that. And they also have hot drops. Yasss. Only down side is I didn't get acye and the veggies are limited. And I don't wanna pay extra for. But the pork broth was soo yummy. And the meat portion was way way plenty. I would just like to say please update the bathroom."
"I am no shabu shau authority, but I know good food when I taste it.A friend treated me to shabu-shabu and likes Oishi because they have a wagyu beef option. I needed a tutorial about what to get to add to my hot pot. I could have easily just used the wide range of fish and veggies to add to my hot pot and not had any meat at all and still been happy. Of course, the wagyu beef and pork were delightful and I'm glad I got to experience it. The premium option is $57.99, and it includes some wagyu, and that's for all you can eat, and that's the price all day, every day. There's a cheaper option with no wagyu that is $25.99 for lunch, and $33.99 for dinner and all day on holidays. I think I would have been just as happy with the$33.99 option. The service was great and it's a little noisy in a very good way...it's the sound of people enjoying their food and having a nice conversation. The parking lot in front was full, but the parking structure had tons of parking. I would suggest driving around the parking structure until you see the door that is marked Oishi and park close to it. Also, it's easy to get mixed up when leaving because there are no exit directions, so pay close attention to where the exit is when you enter the parking structure. I don't know why they don't put a sign there."
"This is where you can get wagyu hot pot with no added frills for under $35. Choose the size of the protein you want, and your usual accoutrements of broth, veggie plate, and rice are included.I've never seen spinach ramen before, and it's sooo worth the upgrade. What I loved most is that you can tell this place is beloved by the community when almost everyone there are return customers. If you're around Chino, check it out and let me know what you think! Thanks for reading! ^-^"
"I have eaten here 10-15 times, all through my pregnancy and after. I have brought different group of my friends, and the same friends again. These friends have brought their own friends. That is enough to say that this place is really good and meets the needs for a wide range of people! In a large bowl, you use the tongs to grab what you want and then the cashier will weigh your bowl and ask which soup base you prefer. The signature broth is my favorite. The tomato broth is great for kids (no spice). Then they take the bowl to cook your items in the back, give you a number, and they bring the soup to you in a large bowl. As you wait, you can make yourself dipping sauces. I like to combine the satay, sesame, chili oil, garlic, and cilantro together.Sometimes I eat with my eyes while I'm picking items to add to my bowl, and it's way too much food, but it tastes great the next day and they have togo containers for you, too!"
"AYCE beef n seafoods place for 101 pot delivered prime n premium menu... quality and quantity of beef and seafoods were tremendously higher quality than most of places in SGV n Arcadia area!! Pricing are fair for dinner n lunch 15% of dinner price once you have lunch .... Services was quite good and there are many choices of soup broth n base, it fits different kinds of customers needs!!! It's a small AYCE shop that weekends n holidays might get really full..."
"The flavors of spicy, sour, sweet, salty, tangy, every taste found in Thai food really hits home with the dishes offered here. I called Thai Gulf for take-out on the way home from work for an order of the Massaman curry, a side of roti, crab fried rice and pad Thai- all medium spicy. I was really impressed with the curry! Deep, rich curry flavor in a creamy sauce- perfect for dunking the roti bread in! The crab fried rice was a huge hit with the family as well and you can never go wrong with pad Thai. Tip- if you like extra spice, just add for extra chilis and fish sauce on the side! Definitely a favorite take out or eat in place for Thai"
"Enjoyed a later meal after movie . Unexpectedly fresh Kobe beef , delicious soup base with tender chicken ! Service is also excellent. Not too push but very accommodating .I love the fact that they open until 12am which provide an option for movie goers !"
"Love this place! Quality of food and broth is always great. The service is always great as well. Management came by and provided free dessert and sake for us waiting which was very kind of them. Wait staff is always fun and attentive as well. Parking can be a bit tough but usually have paid street parking spots around. I recommend the tonkatsu broth with a couple of hot drops!"

"This has become a very easy favorite of my boyfriend and mine! We decided to try this place on a whim one day and we now come back once a week! One of my biggest complaints about hot pot is that if you want to order something it comes with large, overwhelming portions so I sometimes neglect some items (especially my vegetables lol). Here you grab exactly what you want! I love that theres so much variety in the ingredients so you don't have to be shy trying something new! You start by being assigned a table, where you then place your drink order. After that you're welcome to grab a bowl, tongs, and grab whatever you want from the bar. You then take it to the front to be weighed and thats it! You sit at your table and wait for it to come out! You also pay at the end after your meal!I always order the tomato broth, which is the best tasting one, in my opinion. The tom yum and the classic bone broth are all super tasty as well! I haven't tried the dry one yet, but it looks delicious too.I highly recommend coming here! the priced are fair, the food is good, and you get the luxury of eating hot pot without having to do any of the work!"
"Meat quality is amaaaazing. I'm usually not a fan of "sweet" foods that are not dessert or snacks but decided to try it out when my friends picked this place to pig out. Located in the Rowland Banana Bay plaza (Yes Plaza where the hot pot place used to be), the restaurant isn't too big. Doubt they could fit a huge party so bring only your closest friends lol. Theres only 2 pricing levels-- $78 for the gold and $88 for the diamond---they're both A5 wagyu ayce with either shabu broth or sukiyaki. Basically go big or go home here. They do have a membership discount but my friend bought the ETF for the chubby cattle group a while back so he gets some sorta discount as well. Along with the regular menu, they also have a list of carpaccios and handrolls and a self serve food bar of veggies, Japanese sides including my favorite TACOWASA!!!! Yes I took the risk and ate two--pleased to say I didn't get sick. They also have a wagyu curry station similar to Momo shabu. Our group picked sukiyaki for our soup base and it was not as bad as I imagined. The sweet flavor wasn't overpowering. Meat was all very soft and tender. Didn't know wth I was eating after a while~all the meat was tender so I couldn't tell too much difference. Veggies were super fresh. Service was top notch. They were constantly swooping in to clear our plates and check on us. Overall a very good experience. Just don't come if you arn't hungry because this place will push your stomach over the edge.Parking is plentiful right outside. A couple of tea places in the plaza to hang out at after your meal."
"Wanted shabu for dinner on a cold night. My boyfriend and I decided to try this place. It's located close to the camp in Costa Mesa in a small shopping center. Most of the businesses in the shopping center were closed at this time so we almost missed it at first. It was very busy on a Saturday night. We joined the Yelp waitlist from home and still had to wait after we arrived and even for a while after our expected seating window. I would recommend getting on Yelp waitlist as soon as possible during busy hours or checking the wait in advance.Once seated everything else was very quick. Orders were started immediately. I believe the manager or owner was assisting us, but I am not sure (I didn't catch his name). He was super friendly and took the time to explain things and made recommendations. It seemed like he knew many of the customers and took the time to greet and speak with many people eating. I really appreciated that he took the time to greet so many people and also explain things to us. We both got 1/2 spicy miso and 1/2 tonkotsu broth with our proteins of choice. The broth was flavorful and had a little kick, but was not overly spicy - I would order it the same way again. The dipping sauces were both delicious. I was so hungry I forgot to take pics! Overall, it was perfect for what we were craving and we enjoyed our experience. Looking forward to returning in the future!"
"If you're trying to figure out what makes this hot pot restaurant different than others, it is the steamed meats. I was skeptical at first but I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised on how delicious it can be, flavorful, tender, and superb all around. We came during a weekend for dinner and had to wait about 30 minutes. Because this is located in the Woodbridge plaza by the AMC (formerly dollar theater - yes, I remember those days), there's plenty to do while you wait. Service was fast and we got our meats and broth within a few minutes of ordering. We got the bulgogi broth (kind of sweet, if you enjoy sweet broths) and mala broth (I'd say a 5/10 spicy level). Of all the meats, I recommend the rib eye, tender and melts in your mouth. There's also "small bites" of fried pork belly and chicken karaage. I recommend the latter. The interior is spacious but you should wear what you would wear to a kbbq because your clothes may smell like food afterwards."
"If you want to experience a healthy, vibrant meal made with love, come to True Seasons.Especially great for those who can't choose one thing or have different tastes in their party, they offer everything from hot pot to wraps to poke to curry and more. My husband is vegetarian and they have ample options for vegans, vegetarians and pescatarians. We didn't have a reservation and were seated right away. The seating is fun, you are seated around the bar.We had the following:Vegan spring rolls ($11) - 3/5This seemed like any usual frozen spring rolls. It tasted a bit bland and came with a generic sauce you can find in stores. I wouldn't order this again. My husband did like it.Vegan hot pot ($25 + $2 for spicy miso broth) - 5/5Lots of vegetables are provided! If you don't like a certain vegetable (hubby doesn't eat mushrooms), let them know and they'll switch it out! This was SO MUCH FOOD! He loves the dipping sauces. Poke bowl ($17) - 4/5For poke, there is no variety provided. Basically, this is the one option. I'm used to going to poke places and building my own bowl, so I would prefer some variety in toppings. Now, the tuna quality is excellent!! Really delicious. Also, SO MUCH FOOD! I ate this over the course of 3 days, that's how much there was! One note of caution: easy with the sauce! I didn't realize the sauce on the side was so salty and quickly realized that was why the sauce was on the side! Steamed mixed vegetables ($3) - 5/5I also asked for vegetables because I was told the poke bowl did not come with vegetables. I was surprised by how MUCH FOOD was provided! They also stayed super hot the whole meal! All in all, the prices are very good considering how much quantity of food is provided. Also, the staff is incredibly sweet and very attentive. We were the last ones there and she even offered us to order dessert and it was past closing time! She shared she doesn't rush anyone out just because they've closed. I was wow'd by that.I can't remember her name but there's a manager who works there most days and she's the best. She worked for the previous owners and I remember her from that time. She loves what she does and you can totally tell from the love she pours into the patrons. Definitely pay them a visit!"
"I love there shabu!! Its the best in OC!! My daughter loves here fyi she a picky eater!! We love the selection of the bar(salad&korean foods) seafood too. The meat is so tender literally melts in your mouth especially beef belly and pork belly you should definitely try it. You can also make porridge in the end it's so delicious!!! Their service was amazing and quick which I loved it. The interior is so chic and modern, clean. They have huge parking area. I totally would recommend to my family and friends. Great for any gatherings! Music is not loud so it's prefect for family with little one too. They have lunch and dinner menu different in price."
"There are two Shinobu restaurants a few doors away from each other. One is shabu shabu and the other is Japanese BBQ so make sure you go to the right one. They have a Yelp waitlist, but there was no wait when we went. There is seating at the bar, as well as tables along the other wall. If you walk to the back and go around the corner, I believe there are more tables over there on the other side. They have two tiers of AYCE, silver and gold. The gold tier includes everything in the silver tier and adds USDA prime short rib & ribeye as well as salmon. We opted for the silver tier which has a good variety of red meat as well as chicken breast and shrimp and is quite a bit less expensive. There are four broths to choose from and I always go with spicy miso. Hot drops are available upon request to kick up the heat. You can order as much meat as you like as well as appetizers, veggies, and noodles. We had several rounds of gyoza and panko fried shrimp which were excellent and each came with its own sauce. The meats all had great flavor and the shrimp are already peeled and deveined making them easy to cook and eat without making a mess. They give you two small bowls of sauce for dipping which includes a peanut sauce which I didn't really care for and a soy sauce. If you have more than a few people in your party, you may have to share half of a regular sized broth bowl. They have a good bar menu and we enjoyed a few bottles of Kikusui sake. The silver tier is a very good dinner value for $36.99 per person as of February 2025. Service was good and I would return again if in the area and have a taste for shabu shabu."
"Rating: 5/5Love this place! Always my go-to dinner hot pot spot. The concept is great -- choosing what you want in your soup and paying per pound ($14.99).They have so many food options you can fill your bowl with, but keep in mind that a pound can rack up fast and it can be a lotttt of food. I've only gotten the Classic Bone Broth in mild for my soup flavor and I will never get tired of it. They also have a sauce bar like other hot pot places. It wasn't tooo busy every time I've gone. I was always able to get a table right away considering the place is slightly small. However, dinner is a bit busier than other times! The service is always great too. They bring out the soup pretty fast."
"Have not been to this location in years! Food quality and ambiance remains the same - service was also spectacular. The plaza is doing construction outside so it may be hard to locate the restaurant but they do have additional signs pointing you to their exact location which is helpful.Since it was a weekday when we went, there was no line or wait - we were seated immediately. You order directly from an iPad which is super convenient.Servers were very attentive and friendly. We ordered a variety of skewers, dishes and soups. Our favorites are the Lamb Skewers, the Golden HotPot and the Shrimp Dumplings. Everything else was also delicious. These are a must try!Plenty of parking available as it is located in a big plaza."
"I have been wanting to try this place. Right from the beginning, the establishment looked clean and fun to try. We sat down and were presented with a menu where we could choose different varieties of broth and other vegetables and meat to add to the pot. My daughter and I shared a pot, and it was satisfactory for us. We also shared an order of fried oysters. The oysters were super delicious and fresh, and it was a standout experience. The waitress was wonderful, and the whole experience was enjoyable and novel for us. I will definitely return to try the other three broth bases they offer."
