"Was so pleased with the quantity, price and food. Everything tasted authentic and delicious. Was excited to does load the app and see that I quickly accrued points from our first order. The app is great with rewards like the chick fila app. This is my new go to spot for Mediterranean. Highly recommend."
"I've driven past this place frequently and never noticed this great restaurant before. In fact, the day of discovery was motivated by two equally important actions: First, eat something before the long drive to Pasadena (I was initially aiming for the next door 7-Eleven, and to get off 17th Street and cut through the neighborhood. The Gyro lunch special sign in the window didn't hurt either as I made a split-second decision to change course. Inside, it's smallish, a few tables as well as a few outside. A nice girl helped me dial in my order. My first question was, what kind of onions come on it? When she said red onions, I was excited, I only like red onions raw. Then, I asked for light tomatoes, assuming they'd be diced like most other establishments. Wrong! They're grilled and thus more better. I was quoted up to a ten-minute wait, but I had barely grabbed napkins and put a lid on my drink when they called my name. It was hot outside and warm inside, so I chose to sit indoors. I was impressed by how hot the fries were and how crispy they were, too. The Tzasiki sauce was a generous portion, and a fork was also included. The Gyro was wrapped in foil, and I didn't realize how generously packed it was until I realized there was no way I could eat it initially until I whittled the contents down with the fork. Off to a great start! Basically, it was scrumptious, shaved off the rotisserie and flavorful. The sauce is very fresh and full of cucumber. They also sell 4oz. sides in case you want more. I couldn't eat all the fries either. Anyhow, this was the first of many planned trips. Their other dishes, kabobs, and sides look amazing too. I'd suggest splitting the special and get a second Gyro because that's a lot of fries."

"Luna Grill was just okay. I ordered a salad and was immediately disappointed when I saw the dressing came in a clear plastic packet. It tasted exactly how it looked--bland and watery, completely ruining the salad. The ingredients were fresh, but without a proper dressing, it just felt uninspired. Service was good and the space was clean with a modern casual vibe but I expected something much better food-wise. It's convenient if you're in a hurry but there are definitely better Mediterranean options."
"My all time favorite Greek food in OC...it's been a while since we have been here but we got a night with our kids and decided to come here out of many other places bc we missed the food and the atmosphere...Our sever Alex and the owner along with other staff are always on top of things on taking orders, bringing out food and checking on us and cleaning the table...We tried their scallops dish tonight and also the lamb rack is always my favorite...I love sitting at the patio...it's transformed me to somewhere far with their live music and the cute decoration."
"Located in a busy big plaza. Parking was abundant. The restaurant opened slightly earlier than posted hours. The counter server was very friendly and patient. The food was served with a slight delay. I guess because I went in before the kitchen's preparation. The food was very delicious and fresh. The restaurant was clean with medium lighting. Overall, it was satisfying. Will come again! 4.7 out of 5."
"Great place, many choices, reasonably priced and a famous spot, lots of customers Customer service was friendly and they came to our table to refill coffee without having to be asked. I'll come back again"
"This is my absolute favorite Mediterranean restaurant...and I have pretty much been to them all! The food and the service both perfection! For sure you gotta start with the grilled octopus appetizer. It is amazing served with a flavorful but light sauce. The fried zucchini are also so so good! I've had almost everything here. There really isn't anything that I don't love! The wraps, the fish, and all of the kabobs, the steak, chicken, lamb...and I actually don't even like lamb, but I love it here! The humus, and all of the sides, especially the beer battered french fries, and then the best dessert here is the baklava ice cream. Everything is fresh and super delicious!"
"Lilly is AMAZING! She was so helpful and attentive to our needs! We had appetizers( try the pork belly sliders! Wow) the ambience was super surprising cause the place was empty! This is definitely a hidden gem!!!! Try it out!!!!!"
"Ok. I could've sworn I wrote a review long time ago. Hmmm! Anyway, we came here after a night at the Old Crow Smokehouse because their kitchen was closed and we were hungry. This place looked open and people were ordering, so we stopped by. (I've been here before, long time ago! So I knew the food was good!)We ordered (I got the lamb & beef gyro plate & my friend got a wrap), sat outside & then a bunch more people showed up! (That always happens when I go somewhere! lol!)The guys were fun to watch. He noticed us taking pics so he was giving us a show! lol! The food was yummy! Met some cool people outside. Good conversation! We got the baklava too! Mmmm! We'll be back for sure! Thanks guys, for being open late!"

Stopped by Luna Grill Cerritos and ordered the chicken kabob plate. The chicken was well-seasoned, tender, and had a nice char from the grill, making it flavorful in every bite. It paired well with the rice and salad, creating a balanced and satisfying meal. That said, the portion size was on the smaller side. For the price, I was expecting a bit more food, especially since kabobs are usually a hearty dish. While the quality was great, a little extra chicken or a larger side portion would have made it feel like a better value.Service was friendly and efficient. My order came out in a reasonable time, and the staff checked in to make sure everything was good. The ambience is casual and clean, with a comfortable dining area that works well for a quick meal or a relaxed lunch. It's a solid option for Mediterranean food, and I'd return, but I might consider adding an extra side next time to make it more filling.

Overall solid Mediterranean food. I had the beef Kebab plate and the falafel, my friend had the shrimp bowl. Everything was well seasoned and the hummus was good. Just a little standard overall. Space was nice to sit and talk while we ate, and the servers were kind and good came out pretty quick. They also offered a deal for getting the app which was nice.

Hole in a wall Greek restaurant in Tustin!Christakis is located in a small plaza with several other shops.Restaurant is small with indoor and outdoor seating. We made a reservation so we got in without a wait but it was super packed little after so reservation is a must! For wine we got a bottle of Argyros red wine,For food I got the small villagers salad with gyro ($16) and my fiancé got the christakis combo ($31). We shared the trio ($13.5) for appetizerFood came out pretty fast despite the crowd.Trio hummus was not overly greasy and came with side of pita. The red bell pepper dip was my favorite.Gyro salad was a little dry but good peppery flavor, villagers salad had a block of Greek feta and chunks of olive, tomato, and cucumber. Wish the salad had less dressing but overall a light meal.My fiancé loved the lamb! I tried some and it was not gamey at all. The pastisia and the folks were also tasty,For dessert we got a baklava and Greek custard pie.Baklava was a little dry but it was filled with walnuts. Custard pie was simple and not overly sweet.Overall service is fast and wine+ food is tasty.Would love to try their other entrees my next visit!

Holy moly this was delicious!! First time here and the gal who worked there, Hindo (i believe her name was), was super friendly and helpful with explaining the menu and giving suggestions. I ordered the chicken breast pita and made it into a salad so it included 2 skewers of chicken breast, the salad, some fries, and some pita bread. The chicken breast was super juicy!!! And full of flavor. The French fries were a great touch and went well with the flavors of everything. We also tried the beef souvlaki which was good but I loved the chicken more. They had lots of great options on the menu and I cannot wait to try more!

Very inexpensive, staff was very friendly, large portions. I had the boasted chicken. Came with soup, salad, baked potato, bread, and the chicken. Was less then 12 dollars plus tax. Everything tasted fresh.

We've been coming more and more because of our favorite new server/bartender Angel, she is so attentive and wants to make sure everyone leave happy and full! I really love the brunch menu it's simple and yummy plus it's available until 1pm!!! My husband mentions he would love to see more TVs in there, and the one time my plate was off the manager quickly ordered me a replacement with no hesitation so that was very nice !I've been coming with my toddler, they have options for the whole family. Thanks again Angel

"This place wants to be fine dining but they wanted to save on labor so there still a front counter. The food? Tastes good. The decor? Could almost call it a young-adult date night. Not formal enough to be extra, not doner-shop casual, a semi-cute place to get past the small-talk.The prices? Ouch.Paying that much for a zankou-tier gyro is harsh. Lamb was tasty but once again, ouch."
"One of my favorite spots in the area. Great friendly service - Giovanni! Love his recommendations. Great sized portions. Plenty of proteins, sides, and topping options. Freshly made so it does take about 10 min. Everything is fresh and made to order. Clean and casual. Plenty of parking, easy to find, and yogurtland is next door for dessert! (I ordered the chicken and steak kabob to go)"
"Our friend took us to this restaurant to have dinner and listen to the live band, unfortunately the live band is on vacation this month. This place has a cool vibes to it. It has some beautiful pictures of the Greek Isles on the wall and in the bathroom wall. Our server was good. We ordered Mousaka, Stuffed Bell Pepper, Greek Salad with Gyro. Every dish was delicious! The Gyro was tender and moist. The Mousaka was well seasoned. Definitely will come back. This is one of the better Greek restaurant in OC."
"I feel weird doing a review on a food truck that I have no clue where it will be next...but here it goes!AMBIANCE: That depends on where you find the truck! It was at my office in Irvine so it was a beautiful day, sunny with some moderate clouds...... :) 5/5SERVICE: Very friendly, I was greeted when I got up to the window and they were nice enough to sub out my Tzatziki sauce for Tahini since I can't have dairy, so very nice sir!! 5/5FOOD: I ordered the grilled chicken pita and WOW, with the tahini sauce, Yummerz!! The chicken was super tender and juicy (makes me want to eat another one typing this). Unfortunately that's all I ate, so I can't review more food, but I will try more things next time. If you see the truck...go get ya some!!!"
"This place is easily a favorite! My office is nearby and I don't think I've ever heard anyone say anything bad about Pita GR.My go-to is the pork belly yeero plate, it cames with rice, tomato, pickled red onion, feta cheese, fries, chives and tzatziki. It is so good. I can't seem to pull myself away from this order hahaah. Many of my coworkers tend to order the chicken plate, their wraps, or their Zeus fries. I've picked at my coworkers fries and they're tasty haha. Oh, also, their frozen yogurt is DELICIOUS. I've tried the honey and cherry, both are great!I usually order take out or delivery but I've dined in once. It's well kept and clean.Definitely order early and expect an additional 10-20 mins if you order during lunch time. They get busy!!! I usually try to order first thing in the morning."
"Great service. Very attentive staff. Naomi checked in at each table to ensure guests were enjoying their meal. Great food!"
"Fantastic. Had the dolmas and tzatziki which delicious. Hubs had the lamb shank with orzo and I had the gyro platter with Greek salad. Everything was well prepared, service was fast and nice. We expected much less from "fast" food and were happily surprised. Def will return when we come to the antique market"
"Fresh and crunchy veggies, tender and juicy meat, Creamy Sauce... I mean this place has it all! I had the Chicken Souvlaki Plate, and it was delicious. Probably the best Greek food I've had in OC so far. This place is located inside Mess Hall. If you haven't been, it's a food court that has a nice selection and is a great place to grab lunch or a get a drink after work. But, I'll definitely be coming back soon, to try more menu items at this location!"
"Had dinner here last night and we LOVED IT!!! Hands down best Italian meal I've had in a while! Service was excellent and he even made suggestions that were spot on. The Caesar salad was probably the BEST SALAD I've ever had! It was romaine lettuce slightly grilled. The bread with the pesto! We in the area often and will definitely be back. Honestly if I lived closer I'd be there every day lol."
"I've known about The Marketplace Grill Cafe because I had driven by it several times. When they were in Long Beach, that is. They used to be located in the Vons Circle Center by the Long Beach traffic circle before becoming TAP24, which retained the same concept as Marketplace Grill Cafe, but has no affiliation whatsoever.I honestly wouldn't have known about this location in Downey, however, if not for Fivestars. I had an offer on my account, and like I said in a recent review of a different Fivestars business, it's a great way to get customers through that front door! This Marketplace Grill Cafe is in Downey's Courtyard Business Center on the north side of Florence west of Paramount. There's ample parking, but some spots are reserved for Marketplace customers only. You can tell by the various signs posted around the lot. One such sign directs you to the drive thru. Yes, they have a drive thru. No, I wouldn't recommend going there to place a large order and upset the customer behind you in line. Plus, I'm not sure I could have used my Fivestars reward at the drive thru, at least in an efficient manner. The drive thru sign mentions that if you place an order either online or over the phone, you should go inside to pick up your order.I went inside to place my order. First, I highly recommend looking at the menu online beforehand: https://themarketplacegrillcafe.com/menu/. The TVs behind the order counter change screens pretty frequently, so you may not get a good glimpse of one part of the menu before the TV unwarrantedly switches to a photo of some delicious food, which as delicious as it looks, I really wish they would keep those TV screens stationary so as to not mess with the indecisive.I knew I wanted the Salmon & Shrimp, which consists of a grilled fresh salmon fillet, sauteed shrimp, cilantro lime vinaigrette, risotto, vegetables, and focaccia bread. The entree comes with two sides, which by default are risotto and vegetables, but you can switch if you'd like. I still went with the risotto and vegetables because I'm trying to avoid the deep fried goodness that is fries. If I recall correctly, none of the sides are premium except for the soup, which would incur a $1 upcharge. I didn't ask what soup it'd be, but I'm guessing it is contingent on the day of the week. The Salmon Plate is pretty much the same as the Salmon & Shrimp with the exception of the sauteed shrimp, but it's only $1.40 less. Don't think you're getting that great a deal if you upgrade to Salmon & Shrimp because you don't get that much shrimp, but it's still a nice, and not to mention tasty, add-on nonetheless.I didn't think my Fivestars offer would have included a dessert, but according to the cashier, it did! The only dessert I saw was the baklava in the adjacent display case, and so that's what I went with. Their website lists more extravagant options, but I'm happy enough with the baklava, especially since I was almost sugared out that day.I also asked for a cup of water, and they placed it on my table while I was in the restroom at the near corner of the cafe. The wait for my food was about 13 minutes, so the baklava did keep me company for a while. It was good, and not as sweet as I would have thought that I'm sure any other dessert choice would have pushed my sugar intake over my quota for the day. When I was presented with my plate, the first thing I thought of was Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen. The plate was seriously that large, and it was chock full of the seafood, risotto, and the grilled vegetables. However, the price point was closer to that of Sea Island Shrimp House, IYKYK, though do bear in mind the Fivestars offer I mentioned before.Had I taken my order home to eat, I would have given this review 4 stars because everything kind of missed the mark in flavor. However, at each table indoors, they have a half dozen bottles of sauce that you can use for your meal. And these sauces packed a real punch that gave all of my food the flavor my taste buds craved. The use of a plastic fork in supplement with a fancy steak knife did seem eccentric. There is a nice outdoor patio, but I didn't see any sauces on the tables outside, which I find kind of odd. It would make for a nice relaxing meal by a small waterfall next to the sidewalk, but those sauces are a must! Just be careful with the A1 because after struggling to get any hot sauce, I splashed a good portion of my plate with the A1 sauce. Oops? lolService was pretty good. I felt taken care of here that I was momentarily able to forget about all the troubles I've been going through lately and immerse myself in a nice and fancy cafe without splurging an amount typically spent at such a fine eatery. It's a shame I didn't get a chance to visit the Long Beach location before they became TAP24.I'm rarely in Downey, and I visit the Traffic Circle area every now and then. Should I pay a visit to TAP24 as well?? Let's just say if they also join Fivestars, I will! :)"
"Good, but great is reserved for exceptional. To clarify:Gyro Plate with a fresh side salad, which included red onions, tomatoes iceberg lettuce, Kalamata olives and dressing; and rice pilaf. I was most disappointed by the gyro as it was dry and the meat shaved thinly.Steak Souvlaki included two skewers of tender filet. The accompanying fries were seasoned well and crispy.Hummus was also lacking in flavor, although the pita was good.Lemon potatoes were good and served as wedges. The tzatziki was good, but could benefit from additional cucumbers, lemon juice and olive oil.Baklava was dry; however, the flavors were good."
"The 5 star reviews from fellow Yelp enthusiasts was a very good incentive for me to try a Greek Eatery with Greek food being a favorite of mine. As you can see from the menu available on-line, there are many options to consider for those choosing to stop in for a visit. For starters, it is very conveniently located just off the I5 in Laguna Hills. Parking is plentiful, depending on the time of day. I say this as there are many businesses that appear to be well frequented including several restaurants. A very good sign of how many folks visit Greek Bistro. I arrived early with only a few patrons, but it was completely packed by the time that I left. It has a family restaurant vibe with seating and tables very comfortably placed. For this occasion, I was served by Dika, who could not have been nicer or more attentive. He did a great job explaining some of the items on the menu that were particularly good options. I took one suggestion for the appetizer, Dolma, which was a good call. It was well prepared and was accompanied with Pita bread and a healthy serving of Tzatziki. The Dolma was moist and a good ratio of meat with the other ingredients. If I have one suggestion, it would be for additional spices. It was light in this area and this would have made it stand out.For my entree, I chose a combination plate that included skewers of ground beef, chicken and grilled vegetables accompanied with rice and pickled vegetables and Pita bread. All of the proteins and vegetables were cooked perfectly with a good moisture. The entire meal was served hot and presented well. As with the Dolma, while good, I found that the seasoning on the proteins were also very light. One of the reasons for selecting the ground meat was to sample their seasonings and preparation. Unfortunately, I didn't get a sense seasonings on it or the chicken. Though juicy, it wasn't something that made these proteins stand out.To close the meal, I had a sampling of the Baklava which was exceptional. It is very rare for me to have dessert, but I wanted to give it a try. This was flaky, fresh and very exceptionally prepared. If you are a Baklava fan, this won't disappoint.Overall, I thought the 4 stars was appropriate. The restaurant had a team of folks that provided very good service, prepared and presented the dishes with attention. As I mentioned, the proteins could have used some of the seasonings very pronounced in Mediterranean food. That said, it appears to be a local favorite. Enjoy!"
"Olive Pit Grill in Brea is a hidden gem for Mediterranean food lovers! And the atmosphere is super cute and chic. Indoor + outdoor patios are VERY spacious! We got a LOT, but here were our absolute favorites and must-orders:Mains- Grilled Wild Salmon Salad (incredibly good - best salad I've ever had)- Lamb Pizza- Lamb ChopsSide- Fried Asparagus with garlic aioliDessert- Tiramisu with baklava baseThe staff was also SUPER friendly - our waiter was so helpful and the bartender is the BEST!!This place feels luxury beginning to end but actually has affordable prices. We will be back AGAIN AND AGAIN!!"
"I have to thank my fellow Yelpers for their reviews for Willy's Eatery. That's what brought me in to try them out. I was specifically looking for a lunch special and they came up on Yelp after someone posted their gyro and Greek salad combo for $7.00. Well that price was almost a decade old. As we all know prices have gone up significantly in recent years. However that didn't stop me from trying out Willy's.Willy's is located in a 70's era strip mall where Thriftyland Disney discount souvenir store and an In and Out is located. Don't be tempted to chuck out your new experience and jump in the drive through at In and Out. As I pulled up to Willy's a woman was leaving and I asked her if she had just eaten there and she told me she's been going there for years as it's been serving the community for over 3 decades. The restaurant is not very big and the decor with the faux tin pressed tiles on the ceiling and the counter to order at gave off a bit of an old fashioned ice cream shop. I was greeted when I walked in and promptly ordered the gyro sandwich and Greek salad combo which cost close to $13.00. Not bad for a healthy choice for lunch. I'm not a fan of tomato so I requested none on my sandwich or salad. The food came out very quickly with the salad first and it looked great. It had red onion, cucumber, and feta cheese throughout. The dressing was a red vinegar balsamic that was fantastic. It was a lunch sized serving which was perfect. The gyro came out a few minutes later which the pita bread was soft and warm and without the tomatoes it was a very basic gyro with the lone meat and a small serving of tzatziki sauce on the side. I placed some of my salad on the sandwich and viola it was delicious. I enjoyed my lunch at Willy's and will venture back to try other items on the menu. They specialize in breakfast and burgers as well. I hope you enjoy this independently owned non corporate restaurant and support the hard working crew behind the counter at Willy's Eatery in Anaheim. This review and photos were experienced on February 3 2025."
