"I did a search for the best lumpia in OC and this place came up as an option. It was New Years Eve at like 3pm and it said they closed at 5. I called to see if they could make me a tray of 100 lumpia and without hesitation the woman on the phone said let me check if we some left... after a minute she came back and said yes and can I come before 5. I was shocked. We got the lumpia and served them as an appetizer for a New Years Eve Party and they were a huge success. We told everyone where we got them and encouraged them to go there as well. We will be repeat customers 100%."
"I love this place! Their food is freshly cooked with generous portions.I love having a side of broth or soup with a meal; they don't normally have a side of soup on their menu. They were nice enough to just make a simple broth and garnished it, which tasted really good.Great customer service."

"They were everywhere on my social media feed for their $1 skewers grilled on a charcoal grill but I didn't want to make the drive out to LA so I was so happy to see they came to West Covina after wanting to go for years. The tita/tito that are always there make it feel like a Filipino party. They are so welcoming and kind and the music really takes you there haha You walk towards the skewers in the back and choose a tray based on how many skewers you're going to have. They have a huge selection of skewers and I try something new every time I come. My favorites are the chicken, longanisa, quail egg and fish balls. All the skewers are around $1.25 each and they also have other entree items. If you see the grilled pork belly GET IT. It's $3.99 but it is just so sticky and tender. I love that even when you buy their pancit or egg rolls, they heat it up for you again if you're eating there. They also have dessert items like turon (like a banana egg roll covered with sugar), candied sweet potatoes and candied rice cake balls. They also have cassava rice cakes and traditional Filipino desserts by the register. They also have some snacky items like dilis (fried anchovies) and chicharon (fried pork skin) that go so well with their dipping sauce (sau sau?). You get a couple cups for sauce so you can get the more vinegar based sauce or the sweet sauce which is similar to sweet chili. They have a good amount of seating inside and I have never been here when there was no one inside. It's a great place to bring friends and family for a delicious grilled meal. They are also open until 10:30 pm which saves us the other night when we were trying to find something to eat after coming home late. Love you Dollar Hits! See you again this week probably haha"
"Everything's is good, food is good. Lots of items from Asia are available. Pruces are on the high side. Prices on items nowhere to be found. There is no transparency. FYI - Halo- Halo $5.99 Special Halo-Halo $6.95. I'm not sure if the prices are infladed or not. But i coild not afford. All come down to 4 STARS. AS is checking out and using debit card THEY CHARGING $.50. The prices are already high. I don't see anywhere else businesses charging for the use of a debit card."

Surprisingly very good and i am a filipino food snob. A couple of friends recommended them and it didn't disappoint. I ordered a catering formy daughter's bridal shower. but before i did that i have to try it first. The servers are very pleasant, Joyce is very nice and respectful. If youorder a certain amount more than $600, they will deliver for a small fee. The location is a little far from the freeway buy if the food is good Distance isnt an issue. They have a lot of sitting space, clean just needs more lighting. Its highly recommended.

Such a cute little spot located in a little plaza so there is plenty of parking. We stopped in after discovering them at a Yelp event and loved it! We visited on a Sunday afternoon and staff was very friendly. There are a couple tables inside to eat, otherwise this is a very easy to-go establishment too. Everything is reasonable priced as well. One thing I love about Filipino food is the pack of flavor the food brings, especially addition of vinegar-based sauces and Almuchow was no different! We ordered:+ Tapsilog - the eggs had a slightly runny yolk, nice flavor in the garlic rice, and the meat was tender. I love the bit of friend garlic on top. + Pinakbet with Bagnet - generous portion of pork belly that was cut into the right bite size pieces. Also came with squad, green beans and bitter melon. Sauce consistency was a little thinner but the flavor was there. + Pork Isaw - comes with about 5 skewers of grilled large intestine pieces. The glaze was sweet to cut the fattiness and was delicious to us!+ Calamansi Juice - very refreshing! Perfect for a hot day. Their sign inside "Good Food is Good Mood" definitely rings true here!

5.0 Stars!! My family and I love going to Dollar Hits whenever we go to SoCal. We fondly remember the days when they were just a food truck at their LA location, serving up delicious Filipino street foodI always crave for their chicken isaw that goes perfectly well with their vinegar.

This place is wonderful for quick Filipino food to-gos. The set-up is cafeteria style where the dishes are freshly pre-made in chafing trays, all you have to do is point which ones you're buying and they'll scoop up and pack it for you. The place looks crowded as one area is the cafeteria and the other section is a combination of grocery shelves and dining area, but still a great hole in the wall in this part of Orange County for Filipino goods and meals. I come here for my classic favorites - Lechon Kawali, Lumpiang Shanghai and Kare Kare. I ordered 2 trays of lumpia for our office Christmas potluck 50 pcs is $28.50 and 25 pcs is $15. They allow over-the-phone orders where they would send you a text link of an invoice and you can pay online before pick-up. The people there are friendly too.

1/22/23 My aunties ordered from American Ranch Market's Lutong Bahay. Food was cooked & ready as promised.I've ordered some combos from Lutong Bahay (translates to home cooked meals) and I've never been disappointed. My favorite is their adobong pusit (squid adobo) and have ordered the grilled salmon steak before-always delicious & tasty. What was ordered: beef tongue asado, Sisig, beef caldereta, and chicken aftitada, grilled salmon's steak. Fir dessert, buko pandan-da best! Can't complain, no cooking required, although auntie still made her special pansit malabon & fresh lumpia (vegetable spring rolls, Filipino style) & corn soup with spinach. Good eats!!

Went to SteelCraft and saw a Korean and Filipino Fusion joint and wanted to try it out. I got their 2 Shrimp Skewers plate and it tasted flavorful with a hint of garlic but the pieces were a bit small for me. It felt more like a light snack or appetizer for me. I tasted their Liempo (filipino pork), but I wasn't really into it as it took a while to chew. Other than the food, the staff were very friendly and nice giving whatever condiments needed with no extra charges.

"Very good Filipino food - their dishes are some of the best cooking I've tried and they taste like they're homemade. My ultimate favorites are their Kare-kare with bagoong, Kaldereta, Bistek and Menudo. Some of the other dishes worth mentioning are their Adobong manok, Igado and another pork dish that had pineapple in it. The style of ordering is turo-turo or cafeteria style, which means you fall in line and point to the dishes you'd like to order. They have a la carte and combo offerings. Their combo can be two dishes with a rice. Their serving is very generous and everything is priced reasonably well. Highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to try Filipino food or craving a taste of home."
"Wow. Came to this place on a whim for lunch. The food is AMAZING. I got the Pares Mami which is a bowl of noodles with beef and the tastiest, richest broth I have ever tasted. My cousin and brother got the Pares Overload and every single dish was very flavorful. We also got the Halo-Halo for dessert and it was refreshing after a heavy meal. Would also recommend the Sagot-Gulaman and Pineapple for refreshing drinks. The server was also very patient with us since we've never had Filipino food before. He took the time to explain each dish and gave us great recommendations. The place was empty on a Monday noon. No wait at all. It might be easy to miss it since the restaurant is in a plaza off the freeway."
"Stopped by for lunch on a nice Friday. Ordered the Tofu skewer with a side of rice and Filipino Atchara. Service was friendly and quick. Food was pretty tasty, definitely fulfilled my crispy skewer craving. Sauce was a little unique but liked the tanginess of it. Defiantly would recommend the pickled fruits and veggies, my favorite part. Inside the Steelcraft of Bellflower I really enjoy this place. Quiet and enough space to get some work done."
