"It's Sandwich Saturday and I was craving an Italian sandwich super hard! Hollingshead popped up via Yelp and what's super crazy is I knew exactly where that was. I've seen it a lot being in my hometown, but I've only gone past it. This is my first time going inside and having their food! #mindblowingOf course -- out of curiosity -- I asked what their most popular sandwiches were. It was the Great Scott, which I plan to have next time! But back to the main event -- my delicious-ness photos of the Little Italy! It... hit... the... spot!!! It was so good! I wanted extra meat and cheese, thus making it a Double. The mild peppers with the artichokes was perfection! A masterful delicatessen moment for my taste buds! I'm a huge fan of mortadella. This sandwich had the perfect flavor pairing with the zest from the artichokes, pepper, and vinegar. Texture was good as well. The French roll served well with the meats, cheese, and vegetables. Something else bomb about this place is that it's a sports heavy, especially towards Cheeseheads (Green Bay Packers). You can watch the game here and get a beer! There are so many beers to select from. They even have soda pop for those non-drinkers. Hank's is one of the best soda pop companies. Yum! Going back to the Packers -- it is definitely decked out with a lot of green and yellow. It looks cool and has personality. There are Green Bay Packers memorabilia and merch hanging from all corners of the place. It makes sense since the original founders are from Wisconsin!A very cool and unique style the restaurant has is instead of calling out orders with numbers, like most places... they will give you a card of a beverage. Your que to get your order is when they call out your drink name! How different is that!?I do move supporting traditional mom-and-pops. This one was established in 1963! That is unbelievable! Again, I'm born and raised in this area and cannot believe it was my first time today. Better late than never, I guess! Besides, they have one of the best potato chips -- Zapp's Voodoo! The first best chip ever is the purple bag called Hawaiian Kettle Style Potato Chips in Sweet Maui Onion. Parking wise -- I can see that it may become an issue. The strip mall that it's in can get packed due to the number of businesses located there. Next time, I plan to come with my boyfriend. He will get soda pop and ill have a beer while trying the Great Scott!"
"We had unch there today... omg delicious. Turkey on their 8 inch white roll..they even have alfa sprouts..no one has those anymore on sandwiches. Soooo good. Their crack iced tea. Delish! Service...amazing. Highly recommend. Definitely going back."

"Great place for Pastrami and other deli sandwiches. I went during a busy weekday lunch rush. The line moved quickly and my food came out much quicker than I expected. There is seating inside and a large area outside. Pastrami was very good and the double baked rye was excellent! The side potato salad I ordered was tasty. I only ordered a half and that was plenty! I was told their brisket is definitely a sandwich to order next visit.Plenty of parking. Located in a business park with a large lot.Definitely coming back! Great place!"
"I could go to Joe's every single day if I lived closer. This was my regular lunch haunt when I worked in the area! Great sandwiches and such incredibly reasonable prices--it was a no brainer. Joe and his associate Amanda are also so kind and personable (the kind of folks who care and remember your order)! They'll get you in and out and take phone orders as well if you're strapped for time. I still drive out of my way on my days off for a sandwich here. As a mom and pop joint, the simplicity of Joe's shop with indoor seating (as well as an outdoor table) makes it nostalgic and comforting. Unfortunately, there's not many places like Joe's anymore."
"I came by Sessions West Coast Deli with a group of friends for Happy Hour. The restaurant was hosting a fundraiser with American Cancer Society, where a percentage of the sales of food and (non-alcoholic) beverages were to be donated. Love it! Sessions West Coast Deli has a few locations. This location specifically is located in the Irvine Woodbridge Village area. I parked by the AMC and walked over. They have a few tables inside, and more seating in the patio. This area has a few other restaurants and vendors so there is also additional seating in the plaza. My friends and I picked a large table in their patio. Staff was really nice and as it got colder, they came out and turned on the heat lamps for us. When I arrived my friend had already ordered a bunch of appetizers to share. The fries were good to nibble on, but I was especially impressed by their chicken tenders! I'm normally not even into the tenders but I am a fan of their tenders here. So moist and flavorful. Game changing. For my meal I decided to get the Half Sandwich + Soup Combo ($17.50). This combo comes with a signature sandwich, tomato soup, and shaka spuds. A perfect well balanced meal. I love trying a little bit of everything so this option gave me everything I wanted. For my sandwich I picked the Meddock Melee. It came on a soft pillowy toasted ciabatta bun with chicken, jalapeno jack, avocado, sprouts, marinated tomatoes, cherry peppers, adobo buttermilk and squaw. Absolute perfection. The soup was *chef kiss* delicious. Exactly what I needed on a chilly evening. The spuds are crispy chips with a hint of rosemary. Everything was amazing. I also ordered a soft drink in which they have craft sodas on tap, and you can refill as needed. Delicious meal and a great time hanging out with my friends. We already talked about adding this spot to our happy hour rotation. I especially love to support a business that gives back to the community. Excited to explore more of their menu!"
"Excellent customer service everyone here is always so friendly and helpful. They took forever to make my green juice and compensated it for me which was nice"
"Moe's Deli was a nice place to eat. I had the club sandwich and clam chowder. The bread head the highlight for me. So good and tasty. My dining mate had the pastrami sandwich and the potato salad. Which was a hit as well. Will definitely be back. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Across the street from UCI Medical"
"We stopped off at this place during a drive back from Laguna.Delicious, fresh food from clearly a family run shop. The veggie sandwich and spicy chicken soup really hot the spot. When my husband had ordered spicy chicken soup and jalapeño chips, the person helping us recognized instantly that he loved spicy food, brought him 3 delicious freshly grilled jalapeños and a side of salsa.Definitely will stop here again in the future for a solid sandwich, good value, and great service!"
"Great guys who love their jobs with smiles all around. Great food and music! This is our go to place for lunch."
"Had a great experience at Firehouse, despite some of the negative reviews. I picked out my free birthday sub, the Cajun Chicken, and it was ready to go as soon as I walked in. Talk about efficiency! Now, the sub itself was a revelation. This isn't your average chicken sandwich - the Cajun spices had a fantastic kick that brought a burst of vibrant flavor. It was hot and spicy in all the right ways, so be prepared for a wonderful heatwave with every bite! The staff made the in-and-out experience seamless, ensuring I could enjoy my spicy treat without any delay. Moreover, the Firehouse Subs app offers a fantastic rewards program. So, if you're in the neighborhood, make sure to grab the app and earn points towards future delicious subs.In summary, Firehouse Subs in Orange, CA, delivers a tantalizingly tasty and efficient experience. I highly recommend this place for its flavorful sandwiches and top-notch service. Easily a 5-star experience!"
"Their dinner deal was perfect for me, my wife, and my two kids. The pizza was great. The pasta and salad and garlic bread were good. The service was great. Cute dining area."
"I met one of the owners and she was absolutely adorable! I got a sandwich from the deli and it was amazing! The market has so many great convenient options, including healthy options for on the go!!!! Plus, they make their own fruit and protein smoothies! You have to check this local gem out!"

Ordered delivery a few times. 1st Pastrami nice and lean with and side of Dejon mustard and a pickle. This I presume is not to allow the bread to remain dry and moist. 2nd sandwich was a Rueben, came with a side of sour croute, Dejon mustard and also a pickle. Both great!! But my highlight was the Chili, omg that was so fire!!!! I let chill for about a day before eating. I warm it up added some ritz and boom magic!!!!

Everything here is so healthy and $$$. I love their brown rice pad Thai (gluten-free) and bob's red Mill hot cereal so much. I can not find them anywhere else except online. That's the reason I have to keep coming back to Mother's Market! The cashier works fast and is very friendly. The inside is clean with nice decor.

$11.49 Spicy pastrami: contains jalapeños & pepperoncinis!$10.49 Italian sub$11.49 Awesome bulgogi: Korean marinated beefPrices are comparable to any higher end sandwich shop. The ingredients are fresh and the sandwiches are well made. The pastrami sandwich was lacking in meat but probably the most expensive protein for them to make. My go to is the Italian if you're not wanting a hot sandwich. The bread is soft but also has the perfect crunchy crust. The staff was nice and helpful & the food came out quickly. Tables are outside and the bathroom is communally shared with the rest of the suite. Lots of parking & right off the freeway!

"Good food always and good service. Thanks I will return. I do recommend. Great subs and good selection."
"I ordered the New York Steamer. This sandwich has USDA Choice corned beef and pastrami, provolone, mayo, deli mustard and Italian dressing. I had the 12 inch sandwich with white bread. This sub eas one of the best subs I've ever had. They don't have Pepsi but I am not going to hold it against them because they do have a freestyle drink machine that has a wide selection including grape Hi C.Washroom I used was clean and had paper towels available... good on them.I do have one bone to pick. Personal appearance of one of the employees. I saw a guy who wore Levi's Blue Jeans working at this establishment wearing his shirt untucked. I consider that to be an unprofessional look. So I am deducting one point for the untucked shirt. If I was to assign a letter grade like is done in school this place would get a B+."
"Updated menuWith current prices. HIGHLY recommend calling ahead Breakfast 6:00am -10:30Lunch 10 am to 1:30pm"
"The cheesesteak was good. I would come back for it again. The bead was a little tough not much. I asked for well done fries. And they where not. It was partly my fault I did not take them back. I was lazy. I would go back there. I would just ask for the meat less done and fries well done. It's a pulse in my book. ."
"First time coming to this location and got good service. I ordered the California club regular size and it was delicious. I like how the deli meats are sliced fresh with your order and this big staff member gave me a nice big serving of avocado on my sandwhich. Love the flavors of Turkey avocado and bacon. Yum especially Mikes way! So glad I stumbled on this location. Will be back again soon."
"Freddy's Delis is certainly a 5+ Star establishment. The "plus" is a nod to Freddy being friendly and appears to remember the names of his returning clients. It kind of gives off a Cheers vibe, where everyone knows your name. Freddy's Deli is a small kiosk embedded inside a business building and most of his customer inside this office is enough to keep him busy. The sandwich is set up like a bar - see the stools you can eat at the counter or four small tables along the wall. Unless you know this café, it's hidden from street and certainly not widely advertise. Once you walk in, you're see small tables and turn the corner to see the counter. The menu is small with weekly specials. I stopped by for late lunch and wanted something light, Freddy was working alongside his cooks. He's made me a grilled cheese and gave me a free coup on the side. If you're looking for a place with not just great sandwiches, but even greater people - cooks are very interactive, look no further than Freddy's Deli! Freddy himself makes sure to greet you with a smile and a personal touch that makes you feel like you're a regular, even if it's your first visit, like me. It's rare to find a place where the customer service is so warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly--everyone here goes above and beyond to make you feel like a friend, not just a customer. Unless I caught them on a really good day, and only two other customers, this place sure makes you feel value. Whether you're grabbing something to go or sitting down during your lunch break, this is the place to be and to support a small business owner. I try to stop by month but after the lunch peak hours."
"I love a train station cafe, and this one is exceptional. The food selection is awesome with charbroiled burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, and more. And with beer on draft, what else do you want? The outside dining patio is right next to the train tracks that allows you to watch the trains go by. It's entertaining to see someone have to run across the bridge when their train is on the other side. Usually they make it, but every once in a while to see a train depart with a guy hanging his head low on the platform. Pure gold."
"I always grab Honeybaked Ham for each holiday. I'm a huge fan of their ham and potato salad. I also find other great sides when I'm here. The service at this location is wonderful as well. While the ham is good, the potato salad is addictive. It's almost (the keyword is "almost") as good as my mom's, and my mom's potato salad is delicious. The cheesy potatoes, macaroni and cheese, and mashed potatoes with gravy are great too. I even liked their tiny Bundt cakes on our last visit here. Although they're a bit pricey and the wait can be long, I think the food and service are worth it. The food is wonderful and the service is always really good. I even liked ordering sandwiches and desserts on our last visit here!"
"Love their sandwiches, hot or cold, you can't go wrong. The service is friendly and in my experiences, has been fairly quick. Highly recommend"
"This location is great. I had a poor experience at the location on Newport in Tustin, but then came over to this spot and was far more satisfied. I was helped by Gaby and she was fantastic, she took great care of me after hearing it didn't go so well at the other location. She went above and beyond to be sure I was satisfied and make a delicious sandwich. Definitely come here over the one on Newport Ave in Tustin."
"Located in a busy mall strip next to habit and Yogurtland. Came around lunch time and parking can be hectic. Got their big kahuna cheesesteak with rosemary Parmesan bread. This was so tasty and satisfying. We also tried their buffalo chicken cheesesteak. This wasn't as impressive as their big kahuna but still good. Take note u can get these sandwiches low carb by making it as a salad bowl. Prices are reasonable and staff here are nice"
"Everyone at this store was so friendly and helpful. Jersey Mikes is always A service, but this store was A+! Thanks for making my dinner and night great!"
"I want to share that I did not have a good experience at Jersey Mike's on Malvern in Fullerton. I ordered a #7 Wheat wrapped. This is a cold sub, however upon eating, I noticed black particles on my provolone cheese. There was nothing in my order that had this color and my wrap was not grilled. I asked the staff what this could have been and they told me it could have been the burned residue from previous orders. GROSS. But beyond gross, eating burned food of any kind is harmful to health and even cancerous. This kind of negligence is beyond unreasonable. The part that upsets me is that I ate those black particles until I noticed it was there. I truly regret my visit to this Jersey Mike's."
"Great little place that is right down the street from my work and their sandwiches are amazing! I got the F-14 Tomcat and it was absolutely delicious! Very fresh (bread and all of the ingredients) and its a wonderful combination of tasty. Due to Covid indoor dining is closed but they have a great outdoor seating area, very welcoming, where you can dine and listen to some music."
"Mi Pueblo is truly a hidden gem. I had the pollo guisado, and the flavors were so good-- tender chicken with well-cooked potatoes and carrots in a savory and delicious sauce. The rice and refried beans with cheese were a perfect side to go along with the pollo guisado. The servers here are very friendly and you can tell they take pride in their dishes. The server mentioned they serve pollo guisado every Monday and mole plate on Tuesdays and every day of the week they sell something different. I will come back for the mole dish next. If you're looking for some delicious Mexican comfort food this place is a must-try. It was a new experience for me as an asian american, I've tried tacos of course, but this plate really opened my eyes to Mexican cuisine. Tastes like a grandmother lovingly prepared it in her kitchen. Definitely became one of my go-to places!"
"First time trying the pizza with my brother, and holy Christmas! It was love at first bite! Going back 100 percent! Service was great Christian was helpful and wiped down a table down for us. Wasn't sure which pie to try! So went with a large half Italian white pizza and half margarita pizza. This was absolutely delicious. The Italian white pizza was fire! Fresh ingredients, cheese and ricotta was nice with fresh sautéed broccolini, brick oven crust and I believe was red pepper drizzled oil on top, which was superb. The margarita was fresh with basil and fried tomato with fresh margarita sauce and mozzarella of course. Laid back vibes for a Saturday night give off Italiano pizzeria Americano vibes. Great service great food and the Italian market is right next door, check it out great Italian products there. Salve, Io sono Tim. Grazie Cortina's Arrivederci!"
"Great sandwich!! Strangely configured booth seating that was very close to the table which made it challenging to sit comfortably for my Mr. Table edge was right up against him, he just fit in the spot to eat lunch. Sandwich was supersized and if he had eaten it, he might not have been able to squeeze back out! Perhaps the table was moveable but we didn't notice?"
"Says outdoor dinning but there is noneBut food was good and friendly service See you again"
"Looking for a quick bite and breakfast preferred, although it was pushing 11am, I stumbled upon this spot down the street from where I was at. The place is small, walk-up to order, has a handful of tables inside and best of all...the staff was hustling to fill orders quickly.I placed my order and waited about 5 minutes for it to be ready. Less than $10 for a sizable breakfast burrito which provided me with 2 meals was definitely a solid bang-for-your-buck! Great service!! Very fast for how busy they were. To be noted, they have a nice menu variety which is posted on the wall, visible as soon as you enter the store. The only downside was my burrito (the American) was flavorless, but luckily the salsa saved it. Overall good experience. I will plan another visit to try a deli sandwich which looks to be more of what they are known for."
