"First time at King Chang, and I can see why my Korean girlfriend loves this place. The lively ambiance, upbeat music, and attentive staff were definite highlights.Food: * Banchan: Great variety--Japchae noodles, broccoli, candied peanuts, fish jerky, salad, and bean sprouts were all solid. The kimchi, however, was pale and bland. * Couple Combo: My boyfriend and his daughter, who lived in Seoul for years and is quite picky, loved the pork belly but found the Galbi a bit too sweet. The soybean paste stew was good but not the best she's had. * Seafood Pancake: Our favorite! Packed with seafood and perfectly crispy--if you love pancakes, this is a must-order. * Spicy Octopus Rice in Hot Stone Pot: Absolutely delicious! I wished for more octopus and less rice, but it was so good I happily took leftovers home. * Buckwheat Noodles in Chilled Broth: Served mid-meal, though it felt more like a dessert. It was okay but not something I'd reorder. * Corn Cheese: Simply delicious.Overall, we had an amazing experience. There's a reason this spot is a favorite among K-pop and K-drama stars. Just a heads-up--you will leave smelling like KBBQ, so come prepared!"
"Before the transition of ownership I loved the food, especially their egg salad sandwiches. It's obvious that the original owners didn't share the sandwich recipe. I support small businesses so I'll say no more. I wish thm loads of success. It's a great local place to meet up with friends and family. The service is great and what could be nicer than sitting in their lovely patio to soak up the Laguna vibe."

"I was visiting a friend in Brea, and she recommended De Oro La Puerta, a small hole-in-the-wall in a small shopping center. I have been to this plaza before but have yet to notice this spot. They have plenty of indoor seating, significant portions, and some tasty food. You start off the dining experience with some warm chips and spicy salsa. I paired my meal with a cold Pacifico too! I got the El Trio Taco plate, two carne asada, and one El Pastor Taco for my entree. The El Pastor was great, but the carne asada tasted old and dry. I enjoyed the refried beans and rice too. I recommend the enchilada; I took a bite and loved it!The major con of this spot was that the service was soo slow! You can also see other tables getting restless for their food. We were also hurrying to get to the Angels game and felt like we were waiting forever. They were understaffed, but unfortunately, the service took a bit too long for my liking."
"The restaurant is slightly dim inside but I personally thought it had a nice and cozy ambience . They are currently having a a 50% off sushi and so we took advantage of the deal and tried a few items. We ordered Sashimi Salad, blue fin tuna , yellowtail sushi's , octopus sushi, salmon avocado roll, bake salmon rolls, truffle salmon, sunset rolls, sushi seeing that it came out quick and was so melt in your mouth delicious. The fish here is incredibly fresh , The prices were great compared to other nearby sushi places . Customer service should pay attention more to the clients!"
"Location was amazing! Service was amazing!! Food was amazing!!!I had a party of fourteen last night. We were visiting my Godmother, who lives in nearby Laguna Niguel. We took up more than half of the tables inside the restaurant. This is what I had:La Tampiquena - Grilled Skirt Steak, served with two Cheese Enchiladas with red sauce and Guacamole Simply Amazing!Diet Coke - Tiny, expensive bottle. Go here if you haven't yet. I'll be back."

Had a great time introducing LARGE INTESTINE, a la carte, to a Korean BBQ fan at this popular spot. They use Yelp for the waitlist, which made getting a table pretty smooth. We also ordered the COUPLE SET (Brisket, Pork Belly, and Bulgogi), and both were excellent. The large intestine was prepared at the kitchen and served steaming hot. The grill-your-own-meat at the table was fun, flavorful and well-marinated.Possibly, one of the highlights was the variety of side dishes, as each one was fresh, delicious, and added to the experience. The banchan selection really stood out and made the meal even more enjoyable. As a small souvenir, we left carrying the signature smoky aroma of a great KBBQ night. Definitely a spot worth revisiting!

This café can be rather busy since it is so close to main beach. I typically would find parking in a nearby parking lot, but it's not easy.-You order your food at the register and there are a few locations to sit including at the bar, indoors and outdoors. They have a large outdoor patio. They bring your food to the table. -I love all of their hot beverages. My favorite meal is the avocado toast.

Just went there last night with a beautiful girl and a good friend. They are located on Kraemer Ave in Brea, somewhat close to Placentia. We ordered two dishes. I got three tacos with rice and beans, and she got something called the Caldo de Res which is sorta like a beef stew in soup with lots of veggies and assorted things like celery, squash, zucchini, and cabbage. She really loved the soup, and I enjoyed my soft tacos. I got one with chicken, beef, and shrimp. They were quite filling and tasty. It stayed until closing, eating and talking, then got to watch the Canelo fight for free :) Overall, a great evening and good food. Our waitress was very nice and attentive and my friend and her spoke a lot of Spanish for my humor, of course !A good night!

I wanted to take my uncle out to eat so we tried out this sushi spot by his house. It's located in the right corner of a big shopping center.I definitely will be coming to this place, the atmosphere is chill, I like the way the restaurant is decorated, the food was delicious, and the service was top notch. Overall a positive and memorable experience.

Small cute restaurant located along PCH. There's street parking right in front if you're lucky. Service was great, and they checked on us often. We munched on the complimentary chips, salsa and beans while deciding what to order and while waiting for our meals. I had the short rib enchiladas, which was served with rice and beans. The meat was tender and flavorful, and sooo good. Just wish they served it with some chili or had hot sauces/salsa on the side. It was delicious but overpriced in my opinion; but expected for this area.

What a great place for a burger! I've been here three times now, and it has hit the spot every time. The burgers are creative, tasty, and JUICY. If you have the urge for a good burger that isn't fast food slop, this is the place to hit. Their appetizers and sides are great, too. Big fan of the half and half tots/fries appetizers personally. I've had the Hawaiian burger twice now (burger, pulled pork, pineapple, etc.), amazing both times, and the garlic burger was delicious as well. They also have a great beer selection!Servers are all friendly and attentive, and always checking in to make sure things are good and drinks are refilled. It's a chill spot with a great vibe too. TVs are playing either sports or something fun. We sat and watched the original Fast and Furious for a bit last time! Don't miss the hot sauce corner if you want a little extra kick to anything you've ordered. They have everything from mild to what-did-I-do-to-myself spicy. We'll be back!

I have been coming here for quite a long time. Back when Mike originally owned it and it was like a neighborhood grocery store. Then the next owner did a fabulous job remodeling. But the new owners are amazing people. Paulina in the deli is an absolute sweetheart. I would come in with my dog and she would always give my dog treats. My dog loved her. When my dog recently passed away, she hand-delivered a care package to my front porch with flowers and a stuffed animal that looked just like my dog. These are solid folks. Thank you for being good hearted people. I appreciate you

My boyfriend took me to this amazing hidden gem. It's tucked away on 62nd street in Long Beach. Cute and quaint little spot for some amazing Mediterranean food. I ordered the Filet Mignon Kabob plate with a shrimp kabob add on. It comes with rice pilaf and a side salad. It was delicious! The way they marinated the steak and the shrimp was perfect. My steak was cooked perfectly, medium rare. The rice was amazing , the seasoning was great! The salad tasted fresh and I like the dressing on it. It was refreshing on a hot day. My boyfriend ordered a pesto chicken panini and it was delicious. It comes with some fries, olives, a little gherkin, and a pepperoncini. I had a bite of his panini and it was amazingly good. Very flavorful! The location was nice and clean. The staff members were all very nice and welcoming. I really enjoyed eating at this restaurant. I definitely recommend this place if you are in the area and hanging out in Los Alamitos Bay.

"I met one of the owners and she was absolutely adorable! I got a sandwich from the deli and it was amazing! The market has so many great convenient options, including healthy options for on the go!!!! Plus, they make their own fruit and protein smoothies! You have to check this local gem out!"
"Olives by the bay Yummy food served by really nice people who are accommodating and attentive. Josh, our server, provided excellent service and tweaked our order to satisfy our vegetarian preference. Locals PLEASE support this business during the off season and slower times."
"Food, service, value. Recommended by another coworker, we came during lunch and discovered this great find. This will be added to the lunch rotation during the business week."
"The 5 star reviews from fellow Yelp enthusiasts was a very good incentive for me to try a Greek Eatery with Greek food being a favorite of mine. As you can see from the menu available on-line, there are many options to consider for those choosing to stop in for a visit. For starters, it is very conveniently located just off the I5 in Laguna Hills. Parking is plentiful, depending on the time of day. I say this as there are many businesses that appear to be well frequented including several restaurants. A very good sign of how many folks visit Greek Bistro. I arrived early with only a few patrons, but it was completely packed by the time that I left. It has a family restaurant vibe with seating and tables very comfortably placed. For this occasion, I was served by Dika, who could not have been nicer or more attentive. He did a great job explaining some of the items on the menu that were particularly good options. I took one suggestion for the appetizer, Dolma, which was a good call. It was well prepared and was accompanied with Pita bread and a healthy serving of Tzatziki. The Dolma was moist and a good ratio of meat with the other ingredients. If I have one suggestion, it would be for additional spices. It was light in this area and this would have made it stand out.For my entree, I chose a combination plate that included skewers of ground beef, chicken and grilled vegetables accompanied with rice and pickled vegetables and Pita bread. All of the proteins and vegetables were cooked perfectly with a good moisture. The entire meal was served hot and presented well. As with the Dolma, while good, I found that the seasoning on the proteins were also very light. One of the reasons for selecting the ground meat was to sample their seasonings and preparation. Unfortunately, I didn't get a sense seasonings on it or the chicken. Though juicy, it wasn't something that made these proteins stand out.To close the meal, I had a sampling of the Baklava which was exceptional. It is very rare for me to have dessert, but I wanted to give it a try. This was flaky, fresh and very exceptionally prepared. If you are a Baklava fan, this won't disappoint.Overall, I thought the 4 stars was appropriate. The restaurant had a team of folks that provided very good service, prepared and presented the dishes with attention. As I mentioned, the proteins could have used some of the seasonings very pronounced in Mediterranean food. That said, it appears to be a local favorite. Enjoy!"
"Before work schedules changed this was our go to Mexican date night place. Chips and salsa are delicious, atmosphere is nice but the food every time has been delicious. Numerous times here and one day will be back!"
"The food is outstanding! Their lasagna is exactly what the doctor ordered when I'm craving cheese and sauce. The chicken piccata is also delicious. Service couldn't be better!!! Everyone I've encountered is friendly and helpful. Even when I'm ordering takeout -- everyone is so helpful. The ambiance is comfortable. It can get loud on busy nights, particularly if there is a large group."
