Bulgogi Town

My wife and I have been wanting to try Bulgogi Town for several weeks and finally stopped in.I had to give them a 5 out of 5 for the simple fact that they do every the right way.*Service with a smile*A genuine greeting and polite offer to place our order directly with him at the counter, if the self-serve touchscreen was not our choice.We ordered the #21 combo [Beef Bulgogi, rice, salad, dumplings & fountain drink.We also ordered the tofu soup! Medium spice to test the waters turned out to be delicious, but we will be opting for spicy when we return.The meat was tender, plentiful, and perfectly seasoned. The small side of kimchi and cold noodles hit the spot. The dumplings were served hot and packed with flavor. The soup came with its own side of rice, a nice touch compared the the other average up charge locations.We ate everything. Even the side green salad came dressed with a tasty vinegarette.Overall, we recommend Bulgogi Town. We will definitely be back for a return visit. For anyone wanting, craving and in the mood for some tasty, you will not be disappointed. The price is right as well! Their portions are quite generous, without overdoing any aspect of it. We chose to eat there, inside their dining room. A quick scan revealed a pleasantly well kept, clean restaurant. Thank you very kindly.

Upon walking in, this small restaurant was so so cute and aesthetically pleasing. We had placed an order online and our food was ready right on time.Our food order included cheesy fries and beef bulgogi with rice. We added an extra amount of beef bulgogi. They give you a lot of meat already so the extra meat was overkill on our part. However, the bulgogi had no flavor in my opinion and was somewhat dry. My husband liked it and ate the majority of it all. The cheesy fries were also soggy and too spicy for me. The cheese sauce seemed more heavy on the mayo aspect. I guess I'm more used to American cheesy fries compared to Korean styled cheesy fries.I don't think I'll be back as the food was disappointing despite the other great reviews for it.

Bulgogi Town is hidden near Azusa Pacific University. I am so happy the hype is genuine!!![CONS]Bulgogi Town is located in a hidden, tuck-away plaza with cramped parking. Also, the wait time is lengthy. I arrived on a weekday (10:05AM at opening), and I still waited 19 minutes for both dishes. Bulgogi Town is visibly understaffed with two members. The location is also dingy but clean with four tables with no public restrooms.[PROS]The food is superb! I am genuinely shell-shocked at the food's aesthetic presentation and deep, fresh flavors. The Kimchi Fried Rice has a savory kimchi heat. The fried egg is cooked carefully and perfectly. The dish is filling and flavorful. The Tteokbokki is bouncy and fresh. Its gentle, warm spice spreads as you bite into it. Both dishes include crisp and juicy dumplings. Yummy!Service is also friendly. Customers may pay at register or the self-serving kiosk.Overall, Bulgogi Town is sincerely delicious. I am humbled by the chef's splendid skills. It's fresh and absurdly delicious food. So I was craving some Korean food and found this spot in Azusa! The place had ample parking when I arrived and place looked clean & cozy inside. Owners seem pretty nice as well. I got the Bulgogi With Rice and the portion size was solid. The plate also comes with 2 dumplings which is nice. Overall, a solid dining experience and will be back!

Authentic Korean food! We got the bulgogi plate and kimchi fried rice. There is also an option to get fried rice with bulgogi plate for extra charge.Both items come with salad and two gyozas. The bulgogi was packed with favor and the gyoza were crispy! The kimchi fried rice had a good amount of kimchi and pieces of pork. It also comes with an over easy egg on top! We order through machine out in the front so not really much interaction were made with the owners, but it's perfect because it give them time to prepare for the food since they are very limited on staff.Overall I would come back and get my Korean food fixed in the future!

We saw the lights on and it was their soft opening so they didn't have everything. The food had good flavor! The owner was receptive about what we said about what we like in Korean food. It's very new and hasn't truly opened yet so we are excited for what's to come! It's great to see a Korean restaurant in Azusa.We can't wait to see some of his more authentic Korean flare!

Food smells good. Real Korean cooks. Kind service. Clean. Pork taste so good. I would love to return and taste more of the meals.

Located in a small strip mall with adequate parking spots on a Thursday evening. We ordered off a kiosk which was nice and easy enough to manage. Today's special included a free drink. Inside seating was a large community table and about 2-3 two seater tabletops. The employee was very nice and service was quick. We both enjoyed our bulgogi bowl , especially the potstickers. I'm glad to see a bulgogi bowl place in town!

Great food, great service and great vibes. Such a cool small place it's really a hidden gem. Glad this was added to the area that is plagued by fast food. The only con that is also plus is that the food takes a while to be ready, but I'd say it's worth it for the freshly made food.

Simply delicious. I'm not an expert on Korean food, but I couldn't shovel the food in my mouth fast enough. It was a very generous portion, but after I finished my plate, I just wanted more the food was that good. Very friendly and humble staff!
