Finally are ate a a BGS, mainly because it was right next door to my hotel on my recent trip to Disneyland.I sat at the bar and had a few beers, and the gumbo and shrimp cocktail. The beers were local and solid, and ice cold. The food well that was a different matter all together. The shrimp in the cocktail were way overcooked and it was liking chewing on a rubber band, although the cocktail sauce was excellent. The gumbo was tasty but the sausage and shrimp used in it had been cooked down so much that they were just mush. Flavor wise however it was tasty.Service was great, the BT's here are very friendly and provided quick service.I visited the bar area several times throughout my stay, and always received good service. One tip however, if ordering a tall beer be sure to clarify with or without the souvenir glass. There is about a $5.00 price difference.I also ordered to go on my final night in town on a cold and rainy night. I ordered the jambalaya and a side of garlic bread. The bread was ok but I wish they would use a better quality bread, it was kind of like a giant hot dog bun, but it tasted good. The jambalaya was excellent, especially when I put some of their hot sauce on it. Very large portion with plenty of shrimp, which in this dish were perfectly cooked, as was the plentiful andouille sausage and chicken. Delicious dish. This isn't top end Cajun or creole cooking by any means, but it was ok, the jambalaya being excellent, so if you're staying in a hotel in Katella Ave while at DL, it's worth a stop in.

I went with my friend for dinner. We waited maybe 10 minutes, the restaurant was busy! It's been about 15 years since I've been to this one. I ordered the Alabama Chicken Linguine. The pasta was pricey, about $21. The portion was okay. The sauce was better than I thought. The more I ate it though, the heavier and richer it got. The sauce was good but super rich, heavy and oily. I wish it had a veggie like asparagus, to help cut the sauce. The chicken was good though. My friend ordered the shrimp scampi, coconut shrimp and hush puppies.I liked the ambiance of the place. There was lots to look at, very reminiscent of Forest Gump. There was a gift shop inside the restaurant!

Called to see if there was a wait time or reservations needed, and informed no wait time or reservations are needed. Walked in right after the call and was stopped and asked for two? And the waitress informed us that she needed to clean our table, we went back to the seating area and as we are waiting two groups walked in and both were seated. Just left. I believe the person who answered was Juliana?? Someone with a J.Not nice. We just left. First time here and not going to come back.

Empty empty empty And I kinda understand why!! Portions are not worthy for the price. I'm sorry when I pay 21 for fish and chips I expect more than 1.5 pieces of frozen fried fish. Our server was super nice and took care of us however, for lunch with 2 $60 is too much. Should have lunch specials or something.

Staff was very friendly and the ambiance was fun. The tables and menus weren't very clean; sticky. Everything was pricey and was pretty much glorified concession food; definitely not a great value. Overall, not tasty.

As someone who's been to quite a few different BG restaurants in California and around the U.S., This one is by far the worst. I love Bubba Gumps food and ambiance, which is why I was excited to see this one on our trip to Disneyland. I noticed it wasn't busy every time we passed it and now I totally understand. The service was bad, the food was terrible, the atmosphere was depressing. The food didn't even taste like it should. Anyway, just a thumbs down experience. There's too many other options nearby to be let down by this one.

Any city I'm in if they have a Bubba Gumps it's a must stop!! I love the bus bench outside of all of them with Forrest's suitcase and box of chocolates along with his old Nike sneakers you can get a picture with. They have a great gift shop with all things Forrest Gump. If you've never been to one they have items from the movie nestled throughout the restaurant. They have a license plate sitting on the table that says Run Forrest Run meaning if it's turned to that the waitress doesn't need to stop. If it's flipped to Stop Forrest Stop the waitress will stop at your table. The appetizer we ordered was good. I liked the little popcorn shrimp and loved my fish and chips for my main course. This location is not far from Disneyland in Anaheim.

If you're a big fan of the movie Forest Gump, and of seafood, then you gotta dine here! There is so much memorabilia from the movie everywhere. Most items are seafood, but they do also offer steak and chicken. Their specialty is shrimp of course, but they have many other delicious items. The seafood hush puppies are a must too!
