We really enjoyed our meal at Bru Grill on Friday night. Andy was our server and he was friendly and professional. We ordered the prime rib dinner and the filet. Both meals were very good. The prime rib came with a loaded baked potato. Next time, we'll just ask for butter. As we've gotten older, we don't eat as much as we used to. Note to self to split a meat meal and get a salad. Bru Grill is a wonderful place to enjoy a good meal.

Came in, super busy so the food took a little longer than usual, I work food service so not once was I ever in a rush/felt mad about the situation but they still took great care of us.First off, when the food did arrive, it was delicious. Tasted fresh and balanced well, with everything. (I got the short rib Benedict with subbed Caesar salad). I really enjoyed dining here and I'd love to come back, looking forward to trying their prime rib or their Hawaiian ribeye. Service was taken cared by Danny, super professional and really nice, was super accommodating and patient with my grandma. Glad to have stopped by here for brunch. Thank you!

Came here on a weekday for lunch - there's plenty of seating and easy parking in the lot, which makes it very convenient. They do sell pantry items, but I wouldn't really call it a market. Great service and good food. Plus, they accept the Yiftee cards that the city sells, making this a decent value! The ambiance is intimate. We tried the Calamari Traditional, Togarashi Crusted Ahi, and Bru Burger. I appreciated how the server asked if we wanted the calamari to come out first. Very delicious. A thin batter allows the calamari taste and texture to really come through. And the sauce with the roasted lemon - beautiful! The Togarashi Crusted Ahi was also pretty good. The fish was crusted and seared nicely. Great flavor and texture. I liked the nuttiness from the sesame. The fried rice was alright. Very salty for my taste. After the meal I was downing so much water because my mouth was dry - not a great feeling. The beans were pretty good - not too fibrous. The Bru Burger was also delicious. We asked for it to be cut in half so we could share, and they accommodated. The fries were tasty! We opted for the garlic fries - highly recommended. Actually, I could have done without the fried rice and have just had the ahi with the fries. That'd be a winning combination. The burger itself was medium rare and very juicy. I enjoyed that quite a bit. It's a little on the pricier side, so we were happy to use the Yiftee card. The ability to use the card as a mobile payment option was super convenient!

We came here for a celebratory family dinner. The ambiance was really cozy and festive for the holidays, but because we had a big party, they seated us towards the front of the restaurant. We were right next to the bar and also kept feeling a slight draft from the front door area, so that made our experience a bit less pleasant than it could have potentially been.We happened to be there during happy hour, so we ordered a number of appetizers, which were all pretty good. The calamari, sliders, pretzel bread and hot honey sausage bites were just okay. The main standouts were definitely the fried green beans, brussels sprouts, crab cakes with arugula salad, and the steak tips. Pro tip: the steak tips are filet mignon steak tips, so it's much more affordable to order a bunch of these than it is to order the entree itself! Because of this, we ended up ordering eight orders of the steak tips!As for the entrees, they were just okay. For the price point (on average, most dishes were between $35-48), the quality of ingredients and flavors simply weren't there. They also tried to charge me extra for subbing out the cheesy scalloped potatoes for a loaded baked potato, even though the sides cost exactly the same on the menu. The short rib risotto left even more to be desired, as the risotto was literally dry instead of creamy. It was by far the worst risotto we've ever had, which is truly unfortunate! Overall, service was slow and prices were high. Again, ambiance was nice and I'm glad we were at least able to offset some of the costs with happy hour pricing, but not sure I'd return.

Dined in with a party of 8 & we had great service the entire time- until we wanted the check. We get it, it was a busy Saturday night but we were waiting for a while after all our plates were gone to have someone give us the check! The ambience was nice, dim lights and fun decor to look at. The bar had screens with sports on it. The food itself was delicious. We had the Bru & Cru pretzels and dip. I loved the fig mustard! Tasted like horseradish. The pretzel was great- perfectly toasted. We also enjoyed the warm spinach artichoke dip. For food, I got the wild caught cod tacos as a bowl and really enjoyed it! It had a surprising spice to it and it needed something to balance it out like avocado. It was very filling- I feel the picture does not do it justice to show how big of a plate it was! The filet mignon was cooked perfectly and every bite was like butter.

Bru is such a great dinner spot! Enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the restaurant with great service and nice atmosphere. I highly recommend the truffle fries and Philly cheesecake sandwich. Next time I will have to try some of their desserts they have a decadent menu with lots of good options. Excited to revisit Bru soon!

We went for a celebration dinner on 2/15. Made a reservation and were seated quickly. The cocktails were amazing, but the food was not great. The Bru and Cru toasts were so hard and overly toasted. Fish and chips were good, the filet was perfectly cooked, but sides weren't anything special. BBQ chicken flatbread was recommended by our server-- it was hard and dried out. Sent back an order of grilled halibut for being overcooked as well. We will go back for drinks, but definitely not dinner again.
