Broken Yolk Cafe

Not only was the food amazing and the portions are great for the price, but BRITNEY was an amazing waitress. She welcomed us as soon as we came in with a smile and she beyond so friendly and nice. She is for sure one of the reasons I will be coming back. Amazing service.

Brittney served us this morning. Her service and attentiveness was excellent! The coffee well never ran dry and food was served hot.

I thought i already had a review for this place before. So first let me just say, mimosa flight! That is my go to every time. If you like some refreshing mimosas these are it. Ok so I was lucky enough to have my son take me to breakfast for my birthday. First time he's treated me to anything. Guess I did something right. So it was only right for me to take advantage and eenjoy the mimosa flight.This place can get crazy, there was a 45 minute wait. Usually I would never wait but I had time to kill. Service was great and they will text you to let you know when they are ready for you. I walked around the shopping center until I was ready I had the French toast, eggs and bacon. Not bad, I was full for sure.This is my go to breakfast spot in Fullerton.

Definitely one of the better American diners out there! I was with a party of 6 and it was a Monday morning at 10AM. My party was greeted right at the door and escorted to a table immediately. We were served by Brittany. She is amazing at her job! Some of my party has not been to a Broken Yolk before and she eagerly helped us navigate the menu, even giving us recommendations, and generously giving tips to substitute ingredients for my friend with dietary restrictions. She was super detailed oriented and thorough when taking our orders.All the food came out warm, yummy, and in a timely manner. Brittany regularly checked up on us before and after the food had come out, making sure to refill our waters and clean up any plates that were finished. Thanks to Brittany my friends and I had a really warm and welcoming experience at this Broken Yolk!

Broad menu with pancakes, French toast, omelette, eggs Benedict, sandwiches, Mexican breakfast dishes, and more. + MOM Omelette ($15.95): with side fruit and toasted, buttered English muffin, removed mushrooms. Very stuffed omelette and thick avocado slices, which I appreciate. Nothing outstanding but a hearty, yummy breakfast for a good price (7/10)

The Broken Yolk is a great cafe with some trendy food. I saw the chef come around making sure everyone enjoyed their meal which I thought was a great personal touch. Personally, I think you have to order their more special entrees or bigger entres to really get your money's worth and the experience. I wasn't feeling that hungry when I went with my group and just opted for the eggs and toast for $12. It was not worth it and I could have made it at home. If you're not going to eat that much, just order two sides (eggs and toast for $7) instead which is what my friend did.I rate it 4 stars because everyone else's food looked really good and they really did try to provide a good service for us. They're also open really early in the morning! We were there at like 7 AM.
