Food was great Staff was amazing My only complaint is on the weekend parking is TRASH took 15 mins to find some where to park

The Grilled Shortrib sandwich was excellent, the nachos adequate .The libations were tasty.The service was less than good, .It seemed that our server was not interested in us he took the orders without suggestion or comment. Getting water was ignored until the third request.I paid the manager as I wanted to go home tonight.

Sat at the bar with my wife around 8pm, greeting and order was very transactional. Two bartenders in a relatively small bar. Not ounce I was asked for another drink and left with empty plates the whole experience. The female bartender left the bar for a minute and the male bartender never ounce said "are you good ?" I sat there seeing how they would only talk to the other guest who seemed regulars. Food was ok al tho i ordered shrimp and grits and got cocktail; I did not say anything. Very nice decor , unfortunately service left me not wanting to go back; at least not the bar.

This place was a better listener than I was a communicater, waiter set drinks down as requested, but I misspoke when I said we will have two more when she's done... just not two more of these. He was great, but one of those boozy cocktails was enough. Edit: we drank the other two cocktails and they were fabulous, you can see from the picture served Neat and Strong.Food here is awesome, we ubered to the circle specifically to have drinks and eat at Bosscat, did not disappoint!

It's a vibe here.We just had our Christmas company party tonight (even though it's already January).I got the bar be que fish was excellent.Totally excellent.Everyone else around me was eating the 12 hour short rib which literally made me drool all over my shirt.Charisse our waitress was totally stellar.She not only served us, she gave us the best customer service you could ever experience.Incredible experience and coming back here again

Another great late night chow with good libations!!! Believe the great reviews and close to 5 star reviews. That pork belly with kimchi appetizer is amazing. Perfect flavor and combination. The baked chicken with fried skin dish is spot on. Great with the wild rice. Chicken was moist and skin being crispy. 24 hour short rib is the perfect comfort food. Make sure you make dessert- fried apple pie!!! Our server - Charisse is totally amazing. Great vibe!!! Lots of ample street parking.

You HAVE to eat here!!! Amazing food, killer vibe, and exceptional service. The food is upscale southern cuisine. They offer classic southern dishes like shrimp and grits, fried chicken over dirty rice, decadent mac and cheese, white fish over mushroom risotto, burgers, short ribs, and more, but it's elevated and modern. All four of us loved our dishes. It's a whiskey bar so their signature drinks are whiskey based, and they have a full bar too. The decor is modern rustic, with whiskey bottles inside gold bird cages, and they have large booth seating with moody lighting. If you're familiar with the area, you know this location used to be the iconic Rod's Liquor Store in the Orange Circle. Bosscat pays homage to Rod's throughout the restaurant with subtle touches. They have a "Rod's" neon sign above the bar, and they have original "Ice" and "Beer" signs from Rod's on select walls. It makes it feel like a part of their story, which is really nice. The service was amazing. Our server asked the bartender for the least acidic wine for me, she asked the chef if the chicken sausage was sweet for my husband, and she brought extra plates for the kids because she overheard them talking about sharing. We finished our meal with beignets and they were beyond delicious. 5 came in an order, nice and warm, and were served with a side of lemon curd with melted marshmallow. Obsessed. We will be back again and again. Sad to see Rod's go. But so excited Bosscat took its place.

A lot of people recommended this spot to me and I can't believe it took me so long to try it! It's a really cool place and in the evenings, it can get really dark and moody inside. I was pleasantly surprised to see a great menu of mocktails and I ordered the I'm the Driver, which I really enjoyed.For dinner, I got the Burrata and bacon jam, a great combo of flavors. My server had recommended it and I really loved it. Then, I got the banana pudding for dessert, which was phenomenal. This place lives up to the hype!

Boss Up- Bosscat Kitchens is in the house!!!! Last night's order Fried pickles and Butter Burger!! The fried pickles are ahmazing- lightly battered, seasoned to perfection, with perfectly rounded pickles!! Ranch dressing comes as a dip!! Dip, Dunk or double dip your way into this great appetizer!! The Butter Burger was buttah baby!! Bun buttered and grilled, two smashed well done patties, and a thankful dollop of onion jam. Nothing else needed, so good!!! The atmosphere is lively, everyone is great- this is my second time here- I will be back!! Until next time Boss Up!!!

We rented the patio for a group of about 50 and had an awesome time. Susan and her team were great to work with both before and during the event. The patio is a great space for a gathering, and the food and drinks were delicious. Would highly recommend for anybody looking to do a private event.
