Boiling Point

My second time here and I'm glad they are only couple minutes away ! We came here after our gym session and I love how it's spot is very convenient. There are movie theater , bowling alley , and they also serve boba inside the restaurant.Boiling point group has been growing for the past 15 years and I'm glad they survive through everything and my friends and I still get to enjoy their deliciousness!The staff are very attentive and friendly. Everything is fast as well, can't wait to come back!

I came here for my sister's birthday on 1/25. Upon being sat, we immediately ordered as there had been a wait time and we already took a look at the menu. Since it was my sister's birthday, she got the free pot and drink. She asked the server is any drink was okay and he confirmed. She confirmed if sprite was okay and he agreed.We noticed the sauce containers were dirty and very empty and requested a new one. He did not give us another one until we asked again. I also ordered another pot and the server did not tell us about the free drink it came with due to being lunch. We noticed all the tables around us had drinks so we asked another server who let us know we should've gotten a free drink as well.The pots took a long time to come out and we waited over 30 minutes. I asked a server to check in on the status of our order and it soon came out. We were seated next to the napkins/utensils area for the servers and at a point, I turned around and saw two employees there. I asked for napkins from our server who made eye contact with me. He nodded and then grabbed napkins and walked in the opposite direction, which was just plain rude. I then turned to the other employee and asked for napkins again, to which she expressed puzzlement as to why her coworker didn't grab it, since she saw he made eye contact with me and agreed.Throughout our time there, the servers were nowhere to be found which was frustrating and if we asked them for something, they would act if we were an inconvenience to them.At the end, I just went up to the cashier to pay since our server was again nowhere to be found. I reminded them of the birthday deal and had the ID ready. He told me the total and I asked for the itemized receipt. Turns out, they charged us for the sprite. I explained to him how our server told us sprite was included and it was unfair to charge us if we were fed wrong information. He was very rude and looked annoyed with me. We went back and forth until he finally conceded. I asked for the konjac jellies and he put 6 of them (more than our party) on a tray and shoved them at me rudely The jellies were falling over and he could see I was struggling and yet continued to be rude and look at me with contempt.Overall, this experience ruined my sister's birthday and I question if I would ever return to Boiling Point. I was very disappointed with everything and felt unvalued as a customer.

Dined in (just two of us) around 2pm. When we entered it was pretty full but around the time a server came to get our order everyone had almost cleared out. It took a good amount of time for anyone to come and get our order but we didn't mind. They sat us next to a rag washing bucket and the smell was absolutely horrible but again, we were ready to eat so we didn't mind. We ordered two Korean bean paste soups with NO crown daisy. We saw two hotpots coming our way on a robot with crown daisy on it and a girl server proceeds to grab it and go back into the kitchen before it reaches us. She just took the crown daisy off and continued to serve us the same pot. We had no issues but if we had been allergic this would have been a very dangerous situation. It just irked us more because our server even forgot to light our pots. We've been dining at boiling point religiously for almost two years now and not a ONCE has a server forgot to light our pot or serve us water. I had to stand up and get a servers attention just to light our pots. The girl who came over seemed to not want to work either. When we were done I specifically asked for the check AND a togo box. The girl server with glasses, again, completely ignored my request for a togo box and just threw the check on our table. We waited with the payment ready on our table so we could ask for a togo box when the server came over and again, nobody came. We walked up eventually and asked for a togo box which the girl did NOT look happy about. Will not be returning to this location. Either the employees are new or they do not want their jobs.

Second time at this location and service tonight was definitely better than my first visit! Thank you Loi for taking care of us :)

Customer service is a hit or miss but their beef hot soup is delicious. I love ordering their scallion rice with it as well.

First time trying and it was pretty yummy. I was a little confused with the online menu but we ended up getting paper menus instead ..... online one forgot to list items 1, 2, and 3 and duplicated 4-8Service was good and they definitely kept coming around to offer more broth. Nice meal for a cold night.

Family recommendation for mom bday. Other locations including Irvine and garden grove where teaboa teaboa is. Restaurant is in a plaza by a theater and a Starbucks so parking can be a chore during its peak timesYou check inside through kiosk and wait for your table. This location is much bigger than the other garden grove location and it's not packed like the Irvine location. Party must be present before being seated. First timers...it's known for its hot pot. They have preselected combos and choose how spicy you prefer (mild to extreme spicy). There's a lunch (open to 3pm) and dinner price. Take advantage of itThe preselected combos comes with vegetable and meat. Plus you choose either white rice or glass noodles. Got the Taiwanese spicy and it's spicy automatically. The extreme spice is enough to tickle your throat but not enough to overbearing if you are spicy lover. Each table comes with a variety of sauces. They have togo containers in case you can't finish it. Plus, no charge if want more broth (original flavor does become diluted for each new broth) Overall, service was excellent. Server was knowledgeable on answering questions and concerns. Highly recommend on trying this during cold times

Yup, this one checks out! The food is always savory and delicious! The service is always a tad bit slower than I'd want them to be, but it's always worth the wait. The restaurant itself is actually decent size for a boiling point - probably fits around 60-70 people give or take.Pro Tip: food here is SPICY. Order with caution.Overall review: "Worth the wait!"

This Boiling Point has a lot of tables so they can provide more and faster service than other locations. Our host is friendly and attentive . Love the simple little hotpot, it's a way to eat alone, we ordered house special and beef hot soup, both of our hot pot a lots of toppings and meat, well worth the money.They have a shared parking lot with other businesses, not too difficult in finding a spot.

As the Garden Grove location of this local chain was getting to a point where it was reaching capacity almost every day including early weekdays, this "Garden Grove 2" location was a welcomed addition to the hot pot scene in OC.Expect long waits during peak hours, however, pick up orders through the app are prepared promptly and always ready on-time. Ensure to enter your loyalty card ID on your receipt when paying in-store!The ambiance is bright and the staff is attentive and warm, welcoming and friendly, while maintaining effectiveness adding broth and turning off flames.Can't wait to redeem my free bowl soon!
