I discovered this food truck while searching on Yelp after moving to the area and not having a refrigerator to store and cook homemade food. With limited dining options nearby, I was initially skeptical about whether it would be open due to the lack of reviews. I debated if it was worth the drive, but I'm so glad I decided to go.I tried the Pork Belly Rice with Popcorn Chicken and Big Shrimp Wontons with Noodles. The Pork Belly Rice and Popcorn Chicken were fantastic, especially with the marinated egg. The Shrimp Wontons with Noodles were also impressive--the wontons were full of flavor, and the noodles itself were surprisingly tasty despite their small portion.I would definitely return for a late-night dinner. Highly recommended! Thank you again for the good eats (:

I just tried out this place. I bought the pork belly with red pork. Unfortunately the pork belly tasted awful. I've had this type of pork before. It's due to male pig with androstenone and skatole. The taste was sour and bad odor. I threw away 75% of the bowl since the pork belly stew was all over the rice.Cabbage was okay. The red grain pork was okay since the pork was fried which is one way to remove/coat pork foul flavor. The service was quick and simple. A bit difficult to find since they're in a residential street.Overall I wanted to like this place but I would definitely skip this place or not get any of the pork products.

Bobamia is now a food truck business! That's right! You heard me correctly! Bobamia is now situated on the corner of Amar & Echelon close to where its former restaurant location was. The food truck itself is brand new and cutely designed, displaying all of the food and beverage options on the side. The food is still delicious as always with great portions for the price you pay. Grace still runs the business and is still friendly as ever. I got the Basil Chicken Tofu rice combo that came with a milk tea and it is still one of my favorite food offerings. Please come and check out this food truck!

Passed by this place whenever I go to my friend's place but never got to try it. Today my friend and I decided to stop by on the way home after pickle ball. I ordered a fresh taro slush large size with pudding as the topping. The small slush was $3.50 and the large was $4.00. Since it was only $0.50 difference I decided to get the large. This place doesn't have dine in so you have to place your order at a pick up window. The drinks all seem like a good deal compared to other boba places. The minimum spend to use credit card is $10.After placing the order for 2 drinks, we waited about 5 -10 mins for the drinks to get prepared. To my surprise, the fresh taro slush was pretty good. I didn't adjust the sugar level (although not sure if you can), but might be too sweet for some people. The pudding had strong flavor and later would overpower the taro flavor. The slush overall was good flavor though. There is also crystal boba as a topping option even though it's not listed on the menu.I would definitely want to come back next time and try the popcorn chicken and their other drinks!I'm not able to upload pictures for this restaurant at this moment.. not sure why.

We ordered a pork belly rice with a side of popcorn chicken. The shop is tiny, so you wait outside for orders after placing it, and they call your numbers physically, so be sure you're listening for it. I loved that it came with a marinated egg and bean curd. The meat and rice were well flavored, and the popcorn chicken was crispy too. The price was good, and the box felt heavy! We'll definitely be back again!

Good food! Owner is super nice and friendly.... even the worker / cook that took my order knows his stuff! (well of course he does... he's the one that cooks it LOL). Ordered twice and happy with the food both times. Fish fillet is not over-battered, just the right amount of crunch and soft on the inside. Not too salty either. Will continue to go there on weekends. They also include a free tea drink if you order the combo. Portions are really good for the price. Just keep in mind food is cooked to order, so the wait is about 15 mins. So there's a bit of a wait. But IMO well worth it.

Really great spot, prices are good and the flavor is even better. I've missed these little Taiwanese eateries and im glad they are still around. The pork zoheng and fried fish combo really hit the spot. Will be returning to try their beef noodle and popcorn chicken soon. They were a bit busy sat night but they do take phone orders so I'll give it a shot next time.

They list the wrong address on YELP. I drove out thinking it was on Amar, looked around a super dark alley way for a while and realized there was nothing there. They really have to update their info. Don't drive to Amar. It's about 20 min from where it was, nowhere near. A bit annoying
