Board and Brew

There was a clip of a guy talking about seeing 'Ham Plate' on a menu somewhere and ordering it. Getting exactly what's described- a pile of ham, cheese and bread on the side. I found that speech to be not only relatable but incredibly inspiring. He goes, somehow my brain have been conditioned to think what's on the menu is something entirely fancy. Frivolous, maybe even a tad menacing. The sandwiches here are as substantial as the music, locals and fresh brews. The unfortunate thing is there's only one vegetarian sando but it is RICH with crisp and fresh. Delicious squaw and friendly staff. At Board and Brew you will find your people!

Hello yelping peeps !! I've been here a couple of times already, got something different today, the chicken club ( hot/warm ) sandwich . Service was friendly and we opted to sit outside. Great experience and great food !! Get your sandwich on !!

Came by today to pick up a beef dip and a pastrami. The beef dip was a little bit dried. The pastrami was good but not as good as the one I had at their cypress location.The prices here are pretty reasonable with the amount of meat inside.They do offer indoor and outdoor seatings.Easy to find parking.

We went to check out the grand opening of Board and Brew's Irvine location on Sunday and it was so worth it! They were offering BOGO deals on food orders, and pints of craft beer were being offered at the low low price of $3!! FYI - this incredible craft beer offer is valid until end of February 2025. Service was friendly and efficient. I'm not a big sandwich guy but I ordered the Roast Beef Spicy and it was phenomenal and included a side of Au Jus. They also have a great selection of craft beer, and I thoroughly enjoyed the funky ale collab from Pure Project and Green Cheek breweries. I am going to pay Board and Brew another visit tonight to take advantage of that beer deal before it's gone!

This is one my sandwich places!!! I'm so glad this new location opened up, and is much closer to my home. I've been to other Board and Brew locations, and this one was very open and bright inside. The location was very spacious and clean inside. My go-to is the Turkey Club, but sub cheddar cheese for the Swiss. The French bread is soft and the meat to cheese to veggies. They do serve it with their famous side sauce, which I am personally not a fan of, but think it's just my personal taste as I know most people love it. This is always my fave and it paired with the Dirty Brand chips. So yummy. The service inside was great. All of the workers were working very hard and even though they recently opened, it was a well ran operation. Glad to have this location. They have many options of beers too and plenty of seating and options in the area. Love Board and Brew and so glad this location is now open!!!

Glad to finally try Board and Brew now that they opened in Irvine! I usually like to wait a few weeks after opening to try a restaurant but was lured in by the $3 draft beer opening special. We came on a cold Friday night and were surprised to see the place buzzing. I ordered the beef dip ($11.95) since it was chilly and was happy with my choice. It came with swiss and a side of au jus. I also asked for a side of their horseradish sauce which really packs a punch. They have a great selection of craft beers. I'll probably come back sooner rather than later to take advantage of that $3 beer (through Feb. 28th) and maybe try their pastrami or the Turkado. Food is probably more like four stars, but I bumped my rating up to five because where else are you going to get a beef dip at this price? Plus service was very helpful and friendly!Indoor and outdoor seating available. Plenty of parking in the lot.

Enjoyed their food and drinks. Quite consistent with the other location. Highly recommend Left Coast Pastrami with their horseradish .Seating at the bar is available and there is a about 10 tables to accommodate small parties but we got to get a nice seating for 6, as another customer was kind to move so we can sit together. There are tables out front too.Very fun, friendly place. Soda and water is self served.Parking was not bad on this Monday evening.

Coffee bean had no seating so we stopped in next door to see if they had breakfast. The nice counter person recommended the blt with egg. It was a good choice. We split it and it was a perfect breakfast. Customer service was awesome.

While parked at our bank parking lot, We decided to order online less a 1/4 mile away from the actual restaurant location. (Online ordering was easy) We have been to the B&B at the one in the Stater Brothers parking lot in Tustin. What we ordered there was very good. Plus you can order a beer if you want. The B&B now opened in Irvine, We ordered their Italian deli sandwich and my wife ordered their roast beef sandwich and their "Kids Menu" Spinach Wrap Quesadilla with added red onions, (to try out and Wow it was very tasty!). Tip: in order to view the kids menu you're gonna have to go onto the original website. If you order on Yelp, it won't show up and it is not listed on their printed take home menu that is on display inside the restaurant. We arrived within minutes and to our surprise our order was done and ready! Wow not like other places. (so if you're pressed for a work 1/2 hour timeline for lunch this the place for you ) Both sandwiches tasted great. We also ordered some potato salad. That was also very tasty. I did enjoy their special side sauce. We like their bread better than Jimmy John's. In our opinion, it just tasted better. Depending how hungry you are. You might want to click the extra meat button for a couple of bucks more (why be Chintzy especially if you want a good lunchtime sandwich) I would suggest that you get there early for lunch and probably the same thing for dinner time as the parking lot does fill up quickly because this center also services other food restaurants . Or you can have one of your passengers run in and run out with your food order at the curb. As for how the restaurant looks inside, very nice, bright and clean. On a scale of 1 to 10 scale of the bathrooms cleanliness I rated a 10. They also have a nice little sports bar area with several TV screens playing sporting events . I can see this will be a popular place for those who like sports and having a cold one. We will come back again for their tasty sandwiches. Sorry, Jimmy John's. RIP
