Food: on Wednesdays BJ's has a burger special that includes any of their burgers and unlimited fries which is a great deal. I combined that with their happy hour where you can select any of their signature brews for $5. The burger was fresh, fries were crisp and the pour on the brew was good. Not much more you can ask for.Service: It wasn't crazy busy and they checked on me at solid intervals. I really like that they left the updated receipt when I ordered so that I could pay with my phone and leave whenever I felt like it.Ambiance: the place wasn't crazy busy, so the dining area and restrooms were clean. All BJ's have a signature vibe where it's a dimly lit bar, with TVs going off and a place where you can bring your friends.Despite being in a fairly busy plaza, I like this place.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent experience at the BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse in Orange, CA, on 2/26/25I chose this location to celebrate my daughter's 10th birthday because it was close to Dave and Buster Big mistake the entire experience was absolutely terrible. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the restaurant was poorly managed and unprepared. We encountered a series of significant issues that ruined what should have been a special occasion.Firstly, the restaurant was out of several key items, including their Blonde Ale, Hopstorm IPA, and Tortilla Soup. It is unacceptable for a restaurant to be out of multiple menu staples, especially on a freaking weekday. This lack of inventory control is a clear indication of poor management.Secondly, and most disappointingly, my daughter was not provided with the complimentary pizookie that is traditionally offered for birthday celebrations. I was forced to use a reward from my beer club which I will now be cancelling ASAP. This only added to my frustration. This blatant oversight is inexcusable and deeply disappointing, especially for a child's birthday.Furthermore, the service was exceptionally slow and inefficient. Our order took an unreasonably long time to be taken, and we had to repeat our order multiple times due to the server's inattentiveness.[Insert any additional problems you experienced here. This experience was a complete disaster, and it ruined my daughter's birthday celebration. I have been a loyal customer of BJ's for some time, and I am incredibly disappointed by the decline in quality at the Orange location. I strongly advise anyone considering dining at this location to instead visit the Huntington Beach BJ's, which I have found to be consistently superior. As a result of this terrible experience, I will be cancelling my beer club membership. I expect a prompt and thorough response to this complaint, and I hope that BJ's takes immediate steps to address the serious issues at their Orange location. I believe the manager was named Izzy she was no where in sight the entire 2 hours we were there. No wonder the place was in a shambles. Stay away or go to the HB one it's way better and at least better managed.

I usually don't write reviews for corporate restaurant chains, but I always find myself coming back to the BJ's Pizza in Anaheim. Lately, their $13 Meal Deal has been flooding my social media feeds, so I finally gave in to the marketing and decided to check it out. (Hey, it worked on me--props to BJ's for solid advertising! )The deal includes one of eight entrées, like the Lunch-Sized Italian Chicken Parmigiana Pasta, Chicken Bacon Ranch Piadina, Enlightened Mediterranean Chicken, and even a Mini Deep Dish Pizza with a salad. Plus, you get a Pizookie for dessert--BJ's famous warm cookie skillet with ice cream. Choices include Chocolate Chunk, Cookies 'n Cream, White Chocolate, Salted Caramel, and Strawberry Shortcake. For my meal, I went with the Southern Fried Chicken. This plate came out looking comfort food perfect--a crispy, golden fried chicken breast topped with country-style white gravy, paired with buttery mashed potatoes and sweet fire-roasted corn. The chicken was crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the gravy added that creamy, peppery goodness that just hits the spot. The corn had a nice charred flavor, and the mashed potatoes were smooth and well-seasoned. No complaints here!Let's be real--the Pizookie is the main reason I went for this deal. I got the White Chocolate Pizookie. This one was a warm, gooey white chocolate macadamia cookie baked fresh in a skillet and topped with melting vanilla bean ice cream. The cookie had crispy edges, a soft center, and plenty of white chocolate chips, making every bite dangerously addictive. For $13, this meal was a steal. Solid lunch portion sizes, great flavors, and of course, that Pizookie magic at the end. I'll definitely be back to try a different entrée next time--maybe that Mini Deep Dish Pizza or the Chicken Parm Pasta.

Pazookie's are always amazing but even more so when they are served by Cesar A.! He was amazingly friendly & super quick to asssit.Pretty busy atmosphere on a Saturday night but that didn't affect the quality of service or dessert!PRO TIP: order the strawberry shortcake pazookie but switch out the sugar cookies for the chocolate chip! Amazing! Thank you BJ's for the pazookie & Cesar A. for the pleasant experience! Cheers!

Yikes. Missed the mark this time. The food was mediocre and bland today. The mozzarella sticks were cold, like they were made this morning. The kids cheese pizza didn't have enough cheese. It also wasn't supposed to have tomatoes. Terrible pizza. The pizookie was missing the ice cream. White cheddar mashed potatoes with no cheddar? Come on. The chicken Alfredo with no chicken was very bland. New Sal's brewhouse chicken was okay. Nothing special. Overall, a hundred and thirty bucks on kind of crappy food. Pretty disappointed. The only thing that was really good was the spinach and artichoke dip. 1x Spinach And Artichoke Dip 10/101x Cookies 'N' Cream Pizookie® 7/10Missing the Vanilla ice cream1x Mozzarella Sticks 5/10Cold1x Kids' Mini Deep Dish Pizza 2/10Juice * Apple. White Cheddar Mashed Potatoes * Sub Fresh Fruit.Pineapple * Mushrooms * No Seasoned TomatoesVery little cheese and it had tomatoes on pizza. Mashed potatoes had no white cheddar. Fresh fruit was basically just grapes. 1x Chicken Alfredo 7/10No Protein * Sub PenneBland 1x New Sal's Brewhouse Chicken 7/10 1x Dr Pepper

I haven't been to BJs in a few years but my friends and I decided to go one night (not on a Tuesday) for the $13 pizookie meal deal! You are able to chose between a selection of entrees such as salads, hamburgers, and others and you get a mini pizookie of any flavor afterwards. They were pretty crowded on the night we went but it also just seemed like a normal Thursday night. We ordered almost immediately after we sat down to help speed up the process. However we ended up waiting a whole hour before we got any of our food. The first item that came out were our apps, the onion rings and the mac and cheese. Both were tasty but the portions were sooooo small, it is not shareable for a party more than 2 or 3. When those appetizers came out, 3 servers also followed the one server that handed us our apps. They were laughing, chatting, not at all looking stressed but seemed confused about which table ordered the two apps. They asked 3 tables "did you order this?" before reaching us.. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, bc maybe they were trainees. But it definitely did not seem like that.. Multiple times that night those same servers asked other tables the same question.. Then it took another 20 or more minutes for any our entrees to come out.. The food was good, as good as a big chain like BJs could get. The pizookie was sweet and warm. But the service was not great that night. Most of the servers seemed so confused and disorganized, forgetting orders, utensils, and waters... The kitchen was really slow making out total dining time over 2 hrs.. The deal was good but the experience was did not make it worth it :(

Food 3/5Wait Times & Customer Service 2/5Parking 2/5Ambiance & Vibe 4/5Food was just okay. Fresh guacamole in the avocado egg rolls and chips & dip. Mini deep dish pizzas were undercooked, drooping, and soggy when picked up by the slice. Our bar drinks were just ok or subpar, nothing special. But, the worst part of our dining experience was the excessively long wait times to: wait for a table at the bar/patio area, wait for ordering and table service, and wait for the check and to-go boxes. Much too long of a wait compared to other BJ's locations in So Cal.

The food deals were very yummy! Our son's girlfriend got the blackened salmon, which she said was good. One of our sons got the $19.99 steak deal that came with a pazookie, our other son got the kids mini burgers and mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were extremely hot and he burnt his mouth. My husband got the $13 meal deal that came with a pazookie. My mom got the strawberry fields salad with chicken that also came with a pazookie. I got the shrimp scampi pasta. The meals were very yummy & we love that most of our meals came with pazookies. The service was great, until the end. We informed our server that we had a reservation at the bowling alley (Lucky Strike) at 2pm. Our pazookies took FOREVER to come out and our waitress hid in the back until her manager approached us. The ambiance was nice. It was lunch time so it was quite busy. They had the TVs on that were playing football games.
