When my son wanted to go to BJs for his birthday, we looked around and were shocked to see that they had a location in the Irvine Marketplace. Turns out that they took over the old Buca di Beppo location. It's open, with large ceilings, and big. It really feels less crowded than you know it really is simply because sound is able to escape up to the ceiling and not bounce around giving the location an annoying hum of background conversations. Because we had a large party, we were seated out in the covered patio. Even though it was a patio, they had so many space heaters that it was actually warmer out there than in the main dining room. That was a shocker! However, it was raining quite substantially and we were first seated somewhere only to feel the drips from a leaky ceiling above us. Luckily we were able to move over to another table nearby without any problem.When the waitress saw that we had 3 small kids (7, 5, and 21 months), she brought them out small bowls of cut up fruit and bags of Goldfish to hold them over until we were able to order and get our food. We just combined it all in to one dish and let the kids snack away. It's little things like that that really show their attention to detail in their service. That saved us a lot of 'daddy, I'm starving! when is dinner getting here!' complaints. Food was on par with any other BJs locations. That is to say delicious and great portions. For the first time I ordered a non pizza and got their spicy chicken sandwich. It was a huge sandwich with a massive portion of fries. To the point where I couldn't even finish it all which so rarely happens to me when it comes to chicken sandwiches. It'll definitely be my go to when I'm not in a pizza mood. In all, it was a great meal. We felt well taken care of despite how busy they were and my son had a great time and enjoyed the free bday dessert. BJs never disappoints and I'm glad that this newer location doesn't break that rule.

Stopped by again for a Wednesday lunch to indulge in the $12 loaded burger deal that also comes with unlimited fries. Burger was sizable and flavorful, patty is thick and cooked perfectly. The bun was fluffy. Fries were okay but can't complain with unlimited fries. We also got a mini pizookie which was delicious per usual.Service was excellent, waiter was always keeping drinks full and checking in.

Service was great. Had a lunch switch, and it went smoothly ( we didn't wait long for attention). Happy hour food is very good & reasonably affordable with a good selection. Ordered something off the regular menu & it was good, but a little off. So here's what this review brought me to Yelp, the Cinnamon Roll PAZOOKIE......really......cinnamon rolls in a pan & glazed...... (with ice cream, - (more like a separate extra ) as an apology, for cinnamon rolls in a pan. I expected better. Service = 5*Food- not desert = 4*Desert = 2*

We came on Valentine's Day just for dessert only and it was very busy. But surprisingly the line went by fast we only waited for 20 min. We got seated quickly, our server was fast and got our order right away, and pizookie came in within less than 10 minutes. For a busy and packed restaurant I would say the service was impressive especially on V day.

Came here after a game and honestly was so surprised at how great their deals were! It was a Wednesday so they had the $12 loaded burgers deal and I loved it. It also came with unlimited fries so it was even better! My bf got the fried chicken with mash which also had a great deal - I liked the flavors of that too. Their payment option is kind of cool, their receipt had a QR code that I could easily use to pay and tip the waitress for, who gave me French fries to go before we left lol that was super sweet!

I have to admit, I'm usually not a fan of big chains like BJ's due to long wait times, but I've recently decided to visit during off-peak hours to get a better feel for the food and service. To my surprise, I walked in and was seated right away, enjoying a quieter atmosphere away from the crowds.Our server, Ali, greeted us warmly and provided outstanding service throughout our meal. I came specifically for the weekly $13 meal plus Pizookie deal, and I had to give it a try! I ordered the BJ's Favorite Pizza, which is a delicious supreme pizza, along with a salad that came with ranch dressing on the side and although my salad did come dressed, I appreciated that it wasn't overly drenched on the salad, and everything was served cold and fresh, which made it even better.My partner chose the in-house beer deal--a refreshing Hef for just $5--and went with the burger. Both the food and service exceeded my expectations!
