Biryani Boys

The food here is great! The Biryani is very flavorful and the protein options are quite good. We got the Sindhi Biryani bowls with the Karahi Chicken and the Potato Kabob. The Biryani was great. It had some potatoes mixed in and was packed full of flavor (and a little bit of heat). It paired well with the Karahi chicken which was also very yummy (and a bit spicy) with a little bit of sauce that made the biryani even better! Bowls and boxes also come with Raita as a side which was not too watery and offered a pleasant break from the spice as well as your choice of sauce (get the green sauce!!). It also came with a small cucumber/tomato/onion salad that offered a nice crunch with the meal. We also got some potato samosas which were freshly fried and quite tasty. Not a lot of heat from it but the potato filling was one quite good. The Guava Mango Lassi was enjoyable though the Guava and Mango Lassi layers were not quite blended so you have to mix it yourself. Service was fast and kind. You order at the front and they bring you the food. Also the inside is a bit small with only a couple of tables but there was always somewhere to sit with people eating their meals and leaving. The staff was quick to wipe down tables in between groups so that there was always a clean place to sit. They also have an outdoor patio area if its a little busy.Overall I will be coming back here when I crave a quick biryani!Also parking was not too bad. There is a small area of the nearby parking garage dedicated to retail parking and we didn't have a problem finding a spot.

5 stars is not enough for this place - I cannot say enough good things about Biryani Boys! This was hands down the best Pakistani food experience I've had outside of my parents' home and my own home. It's rare to find a place that delivers authentic flavors with such care, but Biryani Boys has absolutely nailed it.I had the malai chicken roll, and it was perfection--creamy, tender, and wrapped in the softest paratha. My husband went for the biryani bowl with Sindhi biryani and nihari beef, and every bite was an explosion of spice, depth, and true Pakistani soul food. The biryani was beautifully layered, and the nihari was rich, flavorful, and cooked just right.The ambiance clean and delightful, the packaging and presentation is on point. This place is bringing real Pakistani food to the masses in OC, and I couldn't be prouder of what the owner, Irfan, is doing for our culture. He is just like your brother. As Pakistani Americans in Southern California, our usual establishments are good on food but absolutely shit on service and ambiance but he is really elevating the experience without being pretentious or try-hard. Run, don't walk, to Biryani Boys and bring all your family and friends --you won't regret it!

We came here on a busy Saturday night. It being Halal and Pakistani meant we needed to come! We have had this before when they operated out of a ghost kitchen. I wanted to get the sinhdi biryani bowl but that was not available. I opted for the malai chicken paratha roll. I found some pieces of chicken to not be chewable. The paratha seemed to be packed with enough spice, meat, and veggie ratio. I want to return to try all the different items on the menu to give a better rating. Overall the taste of the roll for me was on par. Nothing extra ordinary.

Lovely cozy place. Halal food. Unique idea of fast food biryani. Delicious. There are burgers too which we will try next time. Pleasant staff and explained how to choose the menu. Portions are good too.

I've only tried this place once, food was good. Simple menu and great service by the staff. I'll definitely go back and try other items.

First time eating at a Pakistani fusion restaurant and it was amazing. Not just a run of the mill burger joint. I had the Anaheim Chapli Kabob Burger with mango chili aoli sauce (yum) and pickled onions and green chilis. This is a flavorful burger with a little heat and I highly recommend it. My wife ordered the Sindhu Biryani Box with rice and malai chicken, and Chapli beef kabob. This was also great and highly recommended. The server was welcoming and courteous. Ivan was also fantastic and brought us more amazing sauces for the meat and fries ( with house seasoning). We felt very welcomed here. The fries had a tasty seasoning on it also. Food was great. Service war great. Seating was clean and comfortable and the decor and colors was quite unique and inviting including the restrooms. There is inside and outdoor seating. We parked easily in the marked retail parking spots in the parking garage. I cannot recommend Biryani Boys and higher.

This placed just opened in our building and I've never tried Pakistani food before so I was bound to check it out. The owner was very nice, welcoming, and let me try samples of the Malai Chicken and Karahi Chicken because I didn't know what they tasted like. The Karahi is more spiced while the Malai is tamed in spice. I ordered the Karahi Chicken Roll ($10), Pulao Biryani Bowl ($13), and Mango Lassi ($7).The food came out very quickly and freshly hot. The Karahi Roll includes a flaky flatbread, karahi chicken, salad, onions, and cilantro. This wrap was delicious due to the melding of flavors along with the Green sauce (creamy cilantro and jalapeno). The Pulao Biryani Bowl includes biryani rice, karahi chicken, onions, cucumber salad, and yogurt sauce. This was a refreshing salad rice bowl and there was plenty of flavor from the karahi chicken. The Mango Lassi was a thick creamy mango yogurt drink, which helped complement the spiciness of the chicken.This was a great place to eat on a weekend night and I look forward to trying out their other menu items!

My friend and I have always liked biryani boys for a while now and then patiently waited for them to move from their ghost kitchen location to their first ever sit down restaurant (congrats to them on that) and now that it's finally here and opened up just about a week ago we went yesterday! We got there and it's in a nice populated area with other restaurants and has a garage underneath the apartment complex it shares residence with so that's convenient, just park at retail parking. It was a weekday and just opening so we beat the lunch rush, the ambiance is fun and good space with ample seating indoors and outdoors. Also I guess with bigger space means a bigger menu, they've added a couple of newer things (some that they are still working on but excited to try when they do)We ordered the beef nihari roll and the chapli kabob burger and both were a hit! The burger was my favorite! We also wanted to try the chicken 65 wings but the owner was so nice and honest and he said they still feel like they haven't made it 100% perfect recipe yet so he gave us some masala fries on the house! Great food and great service! Easily would go back.

Food is excellent and flavorful. Different options of rice and meat. Amazing service with very cute location! 10/10

The food was delicious! The best thick cut fries, and when its loaded with the shredded beef...you'll see. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and generous with samples. They are new to the neighborhood but its clear they're the next upcoming local gem. The inside is spacious and the walls painted with some pretty cool murals of some Anaheim landmarks. I recommend for a tasty quick meal!
