What can I say but to begin with the customer service is on point courteous staff and in doubt they can recommend anything from their menu, please be aware only closed on Tuesdays parking can be hectic depending what time you go and as well seating very small but they best My regular to order is combo pupusas revueltas with rice and beans but boy those pupusas and cheesy very well portion on meat not greasy but is worth the trip their curtido fresh and their salsas too, do yourself a favor don't order a soda and please get their signature Agua De Fruta you won't regret and won't disappointed it is the best thing to drink while you eat but hands down is a little gem consider is near downtown Santa Ana which is filled with all restaurants also you help support small business they do take cash or card

Horrible, horrible, horrible. Definitely not coming here again. Gave it another shot for take out, we ordered some Pupusas de queso con jalapeño because they were out of beans and pupusas revueltas; and they were terrible. Just our luck I guess! This time they were somehow burnt and raw at the same time. I'm not sure how that happens but super raw and gooey on the inside. We also ordered some tacos de birria and the way they were packaged was terrible. The meat wasn't even in the tortilla and I got a bone in one of my tacos! Not to mention the tortillas were falling apart and there was no consomé or flavor in the tacos, it was just boiled meat. The meat that it did have was super fatty and honestly just made me sick. Never ordering take out or dining in ever again. Service was ok but overall not a good experience at all either time. I'm really shocked at how many good reviews this place has. Would definitely not recommend.

Craved popusas one random Saturday morning so we found this place, read the reviews regarding a bit of a wait so we decided to call in our order.. no answer. We are only ordering 4 popusas so we drop in anyways and place our order. Behind the counter was a young girl, on the grill was a lady and a man and another lady prepping orders to go. Our wait time was over 30 mins for sure. Not ideal.Popusas were about ~$3.50 each. With a medium horchata we totaled out at about ~$18. Popusas were good.. we asked for 2 revueltas and 2 de chicharron, one with cheese one without. I would ask that they note which is which next time as its not easy to notice even when cutting it open.Definitely a hole in the wall. Parking is tight. Note: Cash only- they had a note up stating their card machine wasn't working.I heard a man say "your machine still isn't working?" So I assume its been a while.

Called in my order of pupusas revuelta to go and was told it was going to be done in 15 minutes. Drove in less than 15 minutes and was happily surprised that it was ready. Place is in a smallShopping plaza. Lady in the counter was really nice and welcoming. Offered plates and utensils which I thought was great customer service which I wasn't expecting since it was a to go order. Pupusas were very good with the cabbage and red sauce. I live the chewy cheese and crispy pork. Next time i want to try the chicharon filling.

Amazing service, prices and food! Their sopes were amazing! I'm usually not a fan of sopes because they make them so hard and stiff that it's just difficult to chew. The ones they make here are all handmade as soon as you order them and they're so incredibly soft to eat or even cut with a plastic fork! The meat and salsa and toppings were great too! I only got asada ones so I can only speak on those. I also got their chicharron pupusas and I will for sure be coming back for them! I'd love to try their other meats and birria so hopefully I can update my review with a photo :)

We came here because my son and I had some cravings. Our usual pupusa spot is a bit of a drive and I saw this spot is much closer so we decided to give it a try.The restaurant is a hole in the wall. In the corner of the 7 eleven plaza with very little parking. We ordered two pupusas and the 3 taquito plate. Ordering was super easy and simple. And so was our order. I asked for it to go and asked when it would be ready and was told 15 minutes. Our simple order was ready 30 minutes later. What bothered me the most was that I saw people who came after us being served their food. When we got home, I was really disappointed with our food. The guacamole had turned brown. The beans was overcooked. The taquitos and the pupusas tasted burnt. With so many Mexican restaurants in OC, I won't be coming back.

Hello pupusas!!! I've been trying to find a spot that serves authentic pupusas with the curtido and tomato salsa which are critical I feel. And what do ya know! I found it! Guess where I'll be going for my pupusas cravings from now on. This is the spot friends!I went with a friend who tried the carnitas. I wish I stolen a bite too because he said it is the best he has ever had. There are a few tables and the place is not sparkly but who cares?! It is worth it! If you are less impressed, you can order to-go! They are very nice folks and very friendly. Run don't walk to a fantastic authentic Salvadoran restaurant for a taste bud explosion. Enjoy!

Love love love the pupusas here! I've tried a few other items but the pupusas are the star. Love the revuelta pupusa with a bunch of the pickled veggies and hot sauce. Might want to wash it down with some ensalada if you can't take too much heat. I wish they still had the corn tamales with the sweet cream because those were amazing but they seem to stop serving them during the pandemic. It's a hole in the wall with a teeny tiny parking lot but the pupusas are so authentic and delicious - it's worth it!

My love for this tiny little Ma and PA operation has only gotten stronger especially with how consistent they are with the servings and quality. I always call before our arrival and it is our go to, especially for lunch. The homemade picante is perfect and "el curtido" is perfection. If you can over look the crusty shopping center and walk over the others just hanging out. You will be just fine but again it is going back into time.Just good old fashion good food. I LOVE their homemade tortillas. I love everything and so far I have never gotten sick. I love the prices too.It is located in the same shopping center as the 7 eleven.Plastic is accepted but be aware it takes them a good 30 minutes. No microwaves you can see the kitchen and try the "Agua de Frutas"One of personal favorite hole in the wall. Remember it is nothing special but your belly will be feeling really special because it is just pure soul food.Stellar Service! Love them so give them a go! Crossing with Grand and Fourth st.One set back I hate the fact, that they are closed on Tuesday.Otherwise one bite and it is what I call "A Volver a La Vida""Buen Provecho" and Enjoy the best soul food when it comes from Mexico and El Salvador. Love their masa and I am madly in love with the lady that makes the homemade tortillas.
