Good and friendly service with some room to pay attention to detail. Tasty and authentic food. Nice ambiance and comfortable dining environment. This place could get busy during rush hours.

I love peking duck, so decide to give this place a try. They have an extensive menu with traditional Beijing food. Most of the food from Northern China tastes too salty to me, but this place is just right. I of course had the peking duck. I like the way they presented the duck. It comes with the rich duck soup, with Napa cabbage and tofu. All the flavors from the duck bone was brought out in this white color soup because its so rich, full of flavors. This place also decorated with traditional Beijing background, with those well known street names. I think it's pretty cute. Service was good. If you order the roasted duck, you must order ahead of time. They are very specific about the timing. When i called to make the reservation, they told me the exact time duck be out of the oven, and time duck served on the table. No wonder it's so good, because they timed it to perfection.

Came here for family thanksgiving and the food was pretty good! We love a good Beijing Peking duck as it is considered a "special occasion center piece dinner item" for my family, so best time to come for thanksgiving!Pro tip: reserve the duck at least a day, at most the morning of the day you know you're going to go. We found out about this place the day before and called morning of and they were kind to take our reservation for the duck. THE PEKING DUCK 3 WAYS IS A MUST! Although the duck is not carved table side the traditional way like some of the more upscale places in LA, the presentation is still nice where it's carved with the crepes and sides and sauces on a tray. They charge extra for any refills on the crepes sauces and filling for an extra charge of $4-8 ish an item, it stretched well for a family of 7. They also made parts of the duck into a soup and a Szechuan peppercorn stir fry of the bones with bean sprouts which was really good! Some must tries include the sweet sour fried fish, the stir fried green beans and the stir fried eggplant! I usually don't like green beans but these really held the Szechuan peppercorn flavor and the "ma la"tongue numbing spice and it was delicious! I don't like spicy so it's not so I just has that peppery taste. Imagine black pepper on crack. But always say mild when ordering when in doubt because some dishes do contain dried red chilis! We also ordered their popular green bean noodles and it was really good in flavor but the noodles seemed a little undercooked and was a bit too Al dente for our taste. Overall, great place to try , service was decent as well. Park is plenty but frustrating as this plaza is extremely popular at night!

Great tasting dishes, especially their signature grilled fish. The portions are good for the value. The spiciness level was easy to handle.

Located in a busy mall, parking is ample most of the time. The place inside is well spaced and comfortable. Service is good, the take out is always packed well and there are no spills. The food is amazing, one of the only places where the take out is as good as the in person dishes. The spicy chicken cold chop dishes is my favorite, the spicy adds kick but doesn't just go in your mouth burning. The lazy dragon roll is a unique bun that I have not seen any place have, it is a must have if you are into buns.Really the food is authentic and so good you can't go wrong.Overall this is a place that is worth a regular visit.

What an interesting new taste bud experience! At first we wanted to go to New Capital Seafood for dim sum but the line was amazingly long. Not a shocker. It was 12pm and people were out in droves for the authentic Chinese-tapas-on-carts-eat-till-you're-full-nap-till-you-wake-for-dinner afternoons. It was not to be for us so we took a chance, wandered around the strip mall and found this little gem. The servers were very pleasantly warning us of the spice level on some of the dishes we ordered, correctly identifying the walk-in novices. We asked for less spicy. Ok on to the food...First came the fried chicken bone in cumin. Question mark you say? So did I. It was chicken cartilage covered in cumin, sautéed with onion, garlic, red chili and bell pepper. Omg it was soft crunchy tasty! Loved this dish!Next the spicy tofu with vegetables. Spicy it is. Slightly sweet sautéed with wood ear mushrooms and some slices of chicken. Also good! Then the steamed whole fish. Pricey. Gotta say but delectably fresh and juicy. Perfectly cooked laid on a pool of sesame oil and soy sauce. Very good!On the side we had some green onion pancake, which was crispy but not oily! Magic! The place is spacious and super clean. The servers are nice and thoughtful. Definitely a "go back again and try more next time" kinda place! If you like spice and punchy flavors you'll like this! Wink wink!

Personally I.. don't know much about Beijing and their food but enough to jibber jabber for two minutes before the other realizes i'm full of shit. Perhaps literally, but I digress. The food, in all honesty, was this __ close to crossing the line of too much grease. No thanks woks that don't wash. But all the ingredients, even vegetarian dishes are meaty in the best of ways. I felt like I needed a massive wash with car wash hose yet at the same time dreaming of those candied yams. That kind of sticks in your teeth but doesn't stop you from trying to wrangle that hard candy in. Prawns were excellent and beautifully glazed. Steamed buns as one of Beijing's staples is brilliantly executed. The menu itself is.. simply over extensive but love the marker and whiteboard system. Eco friendly and attentive service.

Came here for the Peking Duck and was initially excited for it. The meat tasted old. On top of that, they only give you a certain amount of sides. We ran out of bing, cucumbers, and sauce, which they charge extra for! More sauce is $2!!!They forgot our shrimp and garlic dish order, which we asked to cancel. They said they could not, as the shrimp was already cooking. Got the dish, and the shrimp was rubbery. Also tasted old. This was a veryyyyyyyy expensive dish for what it was.Service was meh. You can find better Chinese food elsewhere.
