If your idea of fun is video games and drinks, then Barcode arcade is the place for you! I love the vibe of this "barcade." The fun LED lighting, figures and collectinles on display, and mix of console games and arcade cabinets are the perfect aesthetic combination. The menu is full of game-themed cocktails and there's a great selection of beer too. The bartenders were friendly and welcoming. They helped us get our drinks quickly as a line started forming. We only had time for a round of drinks this time, but next time I definitely want to play some games.

Barcode is a great establishment that has been around for seven years. Great people, good food, nice games and amazing drinks!I recommend the space dust ipa, princess peach, shoryuken, the Chappelle.

We had just finished dinner at Ruth's Chris in Anaheim (will write that review soon), when we decided we weren't ready to go home yet. Checked our phones to see what was fun to do nearby and we came up with Barcode! Just 7 minutes away.Big private lot in a newer area of Garden Grove. We got carded at the door. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by the friendly staff (including the owner, Rich) and a big crackling fire in the patio area.3 pinball machines. Wall to wall arcade games. Lots of tables to hang out. Didn't get any food, but what I saw looked good! Full bar. Highly recommend Barcode for great drinks in a fun atmosphere!

Barcode is a cool spot to hangout, have a drink, and place some arcade or video games. It is a cool concept. They have a small selection of food & their drink menu is ok. Not giving them the five stars they could use some deep cleaning of their establishment. Your shoes will stick to the ground and the tables are sticky and wet from drinks. I would recommend for them to put coasters on their tables or find a spot for people to put their drinks while playing arcade games.

Love this concept so much! A bar with arcade games? Just be prepared to switch your money into quarters (or bring some) if you want to play these games.My friends and I shared the Dumpster Fire, which comes with Garlic Parm Tator Tots, Onion Rings, Mozzarella Sticks, and 10 Chicken Tenders! We chose the Lemon Pepper flavor and it was perfectly seasoned, not too powdery. One tip is to each the mozzarella sticks when it first comes out so it still has the stringy factor or else you'll just be eating a cold block of cheese (unless you like that haha). There are concept cocktails that were pretty interesting, but feel free to ask the bar for customized drinks too depending on whether or not they have the ingredients! This is a great place to come if you want a small place to hang and have a drink with your friends. There's an outside area with plenty of space and seating as long as you're there quick enough. Such a hidden gem!

i love the vibes of this bar! they have little arcade games and the drinks are bombb! good crowd and gets relatively packed on the weekends. sweet bartenders too

Came here on a Saturday evening before it got super packed. Obviously this place is cool, especially for gamers. The drinks are decently priced and I was able to try like 5 different kinds. Very hit or miss but there's something for everyone depending on what spirits you like. The staff was chill and down to banter which made it definitely added to the vibes. There's indoor and outdoors space but it definitely seems to get packed quickly so be prepared to stand if you can't get a table. Plenty of parking in the lot next to the place as well.

If you are a fighting game fan, this place is amazing. They even have SF6 and everything is in excellent working condition.Hey have you guys ever been to Barcade up north? Try out their burger and Barcade fries...would be amazing to have something similar for Barcode :)It'd be nice to have a couple more inches between the band-required machines.Overall most fun I've ever had in a bar!

This is the only barcade area that I've been to that I genuinely enjoyed my time. I had an issue with the PC arcade set up with controllers, but there are pre-established rules that must be followed so it shouldn't hinder any of the enjoyment I did have there. The aesthetic is really nice with nice retro consoles set up plus a couple of Nintendo Switch consoles. There is also a line of retro arcade machines with classics such as Third Strike and some pinball machines. I apologize for my older review as I was being inconsiderate to the rules and unnecessarily rude and entitled.

Waited over 20 minutes for them to open. They did not open on time. Saw a lot of customers leaving. After opening late, went straight to the bathroom to find it without the essentials. It was evident they did not clean after or prior because the trash cans were full, tables were still sticky. For my first time, they left a bad impression when I was considering having private events hosted there. Not worth over $3K for a private party. I wouldn't want my friends or colleagues to go through my bad experience.
