Let's talk a-bao this place. Get it? First off, I think banh bao is better hot. This place serves it cold. Which is fine. That just means that we'd have to wait until we get home to reheat it up. And yum! I really like their banh gio. That's super tasty. The place is really big but the only place to sit is outside.

The 411:The Bao N Baguette is a food-to-go place that offers sandwiches, bao (or buns), and other quick Vietnamese eats. What We Ordered:We ordered a box of Bun Bao Thap Cam (combination steamed rice buns) and two orders of Banh Gio (pyramid-shaped savory rice cake). What We Thought:The Bun Bao was good! This ball-shaped bun -- which contained pork, onions, mushrooms and a hard-boiled egg (I think it was quail) -- was savory while the outer rice buns was a good mix of firmness and moistness.Meanwhile, the Banh Gio -- made with a similar filling of ground pork, wood ear mushrooms, and onions but covered with a thick layer of glutinous rice flour dough and wrapped with banana leaves -- was solid. The outer rice dough was a little drier than I prefer, but the savory filling was satisfying. What We Saw:The employees were quick and friendly while the store itself was spacious and clean. Conclusion:I can't quite give a complete review because I haven't had the sandwiches or drinks yet. But based on the two dishes we got, Bao N Baguette is an ideal place if you want Vietnamese food that's quick and authentic, without having to make it yourself.

I used to enjoy this spot for bo bia and xoi man (savory sticky rice), but because of their quality this time around I will have to give my business elsewhere.Couple in the fact that they ONLY accept card if a purchase is $20+, that's pretty lame how they can't accept purchase with a fee charged. I can't come in and get one item, I have to buy multiple items to even use my card, and the end result wasn't that tasty.Bo bia this time around had less shrimp, more wet filling from the daikon, and the peanut sauce was almost gelatinous and lacking flavor. The roll itself was pretty floppy to even pick up some sauce. The sticky rice wasn't anything to write home about, but it was $4.75. Will have to doctor it up at home.

I mainly come here for the banh mi and Viet coffee. I have yet to try their pork belly items, but so far I really enjoy the grilled pork banh mi and the pate + mayo banh mi. I feel like they're fairly priced, but then again I can't recall prices from other banh mi places to accurately compare with XDViet coffee comes in three levels: light, medium, and dark. I typically get medium since the coffee strength and overall sweetness are the most balanced for me. There are also bottled versions in the open refrigerator. Other items that I highly recommend are spring rolls and bun thit nuong, which are prepackaged and stocked on the right side of the store. They don't have the same foods every day, so you can try calling them first to see what's available. I also like the sesame balls, both pate chaud (pork or chicken, and steamed sweet baos. I appreciate the variety of foods they offer here, from sweet snacks to savory meals.Parking can be a hassle in this lot, as it gets very busy and packed. Service is all right - not cold yet not chipper, but they get the job done efficiently. Food and drinks come out fast, too. No indoor tables, which doesn't bother me since I usually like to eat at home anyways, but there are a handful of tables outside if you want to eat right away.

Decided to check this place out since my dentist's office in the same plaza was running behind on schedule on a Saturday. First off - there's no seats! there's no tables! They have all this interior space and there's nowhere to sit and eat your food. Apparently all the reviews raving about plenty of seats, fast wifi, outlets, great place to study - are all old and should be updated. There's outdoor seats from the plaza - but it's pretty chilly lately, so I retreated to eating in my car. There's a variety of prepared foods in addition to their bao (steamed buns) and baguette (sandwiches) menu. I picked up a xoi man (savory sticky rice) and looked over everything else. Decent selection of steamed buns, bo kho, mam chung, banh cuon, com tam, and xoi. My xoi man had a decent topping to rice ratio, and the rice was nice and moist. It was pretty messy to eat - taking the lid off led to crumbs falling inside my car (again, the annoyance of not having any indoor seating). The other glaring issue at Bao n' Baguette is the minimum $20 requirement to use your card. Luckily, I had cash on hand - but $20 is a lot higher minimum than many other Vietnamese sandwich/food shops in the area that do take card. That said, the rating for this place needs to be updated. All the high-star reviews were pre-pandemic, when this place had indoor seating. They removed the seating during the pandemic, and never looked back.

We recently discovered this place since and I really like the variety of baos available. My family likes the bbq pork bao and salted egg and pork bao. They do sell out fast so try to get there earlier in the day if you want fresh baos.

In a world where so many banh mi places are shrinking their bread and giving smaller and thinner slices of meat, I'm so happy to have found Bao N Baguette! I ordered a couple of #1 combo banh mis to go. I am happy to report that they have head cheese and meat that is thick and hearty with a healthy amount of veggies on the side. Please don't ever change. Will definitely be making this my regular spot when I'm in the area! Please open one on the Westside! Will have to try their baos next time.

Grab-and-go Viet deli serving up some delicious baos, banh mi, and desserts! I stopped in at my mother's request and walked out with a box of 8 pork baos, a grilled pork baguette, a mung bean sticky rice dessert, and a Vietnamese coffee. The pork baos were outstanding. They're palm-sized, filled with a savory mixture of pork, jicama, and quail egg--my favorite!!!! I'd been on the hunt for a filling just like it and was over the moon to find them here. I also loved that the exterior isn't too thick or doughy.--just the right amount of bao to keep the interior moist and flavorful.Grilled pork banh mi and mung bean sticky rice were solid too. Prices are very reasonable. There is no seating inside though. Service was pretty fast on a Saturday afternoon around 2pm.

If you like an incredible bao, no look further and visit this place. They customize your warm and fluffy bao how ever you want with different kinds of fresh ingredients. There are also pre-made baos, salads, steam rice rolls, roast chickens, beef stews, etc. to grab and go if you are in a hurry. I love their papaya salad with the pork jerkeys because it's so refreshing and savory that once you start eating, you can't stop. The clerk was very nice and helpful on choosing the food as there were so many options. The shop is very spacious that you can take your time looking at their menu, ordering, and walking around exploring their delicious meals. There isn't any tables in the shop but you can sit on the booth on the left side. It is so clean and bright inside that it makes you want to visit them again.

Check your receipts...the menu does not reflect the real price. When I asked them about it, they nonchalantly said oh yeah the menu is wrong. Waited for over 25 mins for two sandwiches. Customer service was not the friendliest. I gave it two stars because the food is decent.
