I've followed the Bandito story since they were selling their tacos on a street corner, then out of a truck, and now out of their own storefront. The tacos are lovingly dubbed as the "pink tacos" in our family as the homemade tortillas have beet juice in them making them naturally pink. The Al pastor with extra pineapple taco is my favorite but the carne asada is also tasty. The salsas, guac, cilantro and onions really take the tacos to the next level. Street parking is available and check the meter for when you have to pay. Staff is always friendly. Mostly indoor seating but some outdoor seating is also available. I've always come at night so we sit inside. Please come visit and creat your own experience.

I've been here a few times. The food is consistently good although I've had pastor with pineapple and without once. Service is fine, but the line goes out the door at lunch time. It gets really loud in there at the time too. I docked a star from 4 to 3 because twice I've been charged regular price on Taco Tuesday when ordering online. They said the price would be updated but it wasn't. If you don't mind paying 3.50 then give it a try because the meats are good here.

Parking is awful being in downtown but wow, Santa Ana has really glowed up and kept itself clean. Bandito was recommended by a local friend who lives in Santa Ana and honestly it's good but it's nothing different from any other taco spots. Will the pink tortillas pretty awesome.Service is a bit slow but overall, great spot

Ordered delivery on Ubereats. The pastor tacos are delicious and the carne asada tacos could have so much potential as well, but a third of the meat was clumps of fat :( also kind of chewy but the flavor from the asada was spectacular. Will order again though, hoping the next time the asada isn't so fatty

Stumbled across this place with my wife whilst always looking for new Taco Tuesday spots. This is it, it's legit, great service, incredibly fast, and the tacos are so worth it along with their fresh agua frescas that are served on the daily. We've now been coming every Tuesday for the past 6 weeks and have been hooked, their Al pastor, mushroom, chicken and carne asada tacos are incredible with handmade pink tortillas, it's hard to find another place that can compete from pricing to portions.The ambience is always chill, the folks are hustling in the kitchen to the front of staff. I'd recommend this place in a heartbeat to anyone looking for some great taco Tuesday deals locally in Santa Ana!

The ratings don't lie!!! This place is legit!!! The flavor on these tacos is so extravagant and explosive!!! Service is chill and the cooks are quick with them plates!!! Ambience is loud with good Spanish Music which I completely love! Music makes work fun and people are happier and I believe that also plays into the amazing food that is served here...just parking is a little rough, but who cares when you have food like this around!!! My husband and I may have found our new fav TJ style tacos. We each ordered 2 asada tacos and 2 al pastor tacos and we shared a cheese quesadilla. The nice employee asked if we wanted corn or flour tortilla and I asked which one is better and he asked if it was our first time there and recommended the corn tortilla. It was so delicious! I also noticed how clean the restaurant was. We can't wait to come back. Also ordered an Al pastor burrito for my father in law and he commented that it was delicious. He is usually pretty critical with food so it was a delight to hear that he enjoyed it and was impressed!

I had only tried their food truck prior to my visit. The food truck was always popping and delicious! Great friendly guys who know what they're doing! I was excited to try their actual location, and decided to take my cousin and girlfriend who were visiting from Idaho! It definitely got the seal of approval from everyone, we all tried different items and loved them all! Not a bad dish or drink amongst the four of us! I'll keep recommending this spot and keep coming back!
