Looove love love Bakers & Baristas! I've been coming here since middle school (a little over 7 years) and they've always been consistent with the quality of treats and drinks. I tell everybody about this place! My favorite thing to order has always been their macarons, they're generously sized, reasonably priced, and super high quality. Not to mention tons of flavor variety to choose from! If you've ever had Honey & Butter Macarons in Irvine, these are the exact same quality-- but this place is the OG.Although I mainly come for their baked goods, I've had their coffee a few times and I remember having a great experience every time. They have fair trade artisan coffee and put a lot of effort into their craft so if you're looking for a place that's genuinely passionate about coffee you'll definitely like it here. I haven't had their hot food but will for sure be returning to try it and report in the future.Service is always nice, they're quick to acknowledge you and are very knowledgeable about the products they sell which is important for those who have allergies and such. Place is always kept very clean and despite being one of the oldest establishments in this plaza, I've always considered their interior to be quite modern. My boyfriend and I recently tried their Milk & Cereal cake (fruity pebbles tres leches) and it was delicious. Not sure if it's going to be available long term because I think it was a seasonal flavor but it's definitely worth a try! My top two favorite macaron flavors are blueberry earl grey and fruity pebbles. His favorites are horchata and blueberry earl grey as well.I have nothing but good things to say about this place; will forever be in my top 10 bakery recommendations in SoCal. Don't sleep on this hidden gem!

The coffee was horrible and expensive The only thing we enjoyed was the milk and cereal cake. The chocolate milk had a hair in it and they had to remake the drink. The coffee drink was okay Ended up going to try stereoscope coffee in la habra that was worth $50 not this place

Atmosphere: 3.5It was one of those nice, clean, neat, black metal accents on light colored wood vibes. Not too much personality, but straight forward and well maintained.Menu variation: 4.5They had the classics, but it wasn't too outside the norm. They had about 5 flavored latte options and a mocha. But I appreciate the lack of variety of flavors was because their syrups were housemade and not just bottled stuff, so that gave them the edge for me. They did have a great food menu though! Not just baked goods, but good full breakfast and lunch options.Customer Service: 5I placed my order online and they called to clarify something on my order because I misunderstood the ordering process and marked stuff incorrectly. I thought to was awesome they didn't hesitate to call and clarify instead of guessing what I meant!Drink quality: 2This is where it breaks my heart! I got the Iced Vanilla Bean latte with an add shot and oatmilk. My husband got an Iced Salted Caramel latte with an add shot and oatmilk. There was a weird almost sour and acidic taste on the first sip for both. It diluted a little as the drink mixed and melted down over time, but it never really went away. Honestly, it was just ok. The salted caramel latte was better than the vanilla in my opinion, but I'm not sure if we had that weird sour taste because of the add shot and it would have been better to leave well enough alone. It seemed like a popular spot though, so I can't imagine everyone else was having the same experience. Or maybe they liked that flavor profile. Food quality: 4My husband and I both got Jimbo's Breakfast Burrito. It was really good! The salsa that came on the side didn't have a lot of spice, but it had great flavor.Price worth it: 2We ordered online ahead of time. I'm not sure if that increased the normal prices or not since this was my first time here. But with our modifications of oatmilk and an add shot, our drinks were $10.25 each! To not completely enjoy my drink after paying $10.25 for it was really tough. The burritos were $18 each. Although the burrito was delicious, it still seemed kind of high for being a coffee shop vibe and not a full brunch experience at a sit down restaurant.Overall rating for me is a 3. I would probably go back to give it another shot, but not anytime soon. Gotta save up for another visit. Enjoy your own culinary adventure!

I've only heard great things about this place from friends and family, but my first time visiting just didn't hit the spot for me. I came for brunch with some friends and was eyeing the french toast or buttermilk pancakes, but the french toast was crossed off the menu and the pancakes are only served on weekends. I opted for the mushroom sisig, one of their popular dishes. It looked very aesthetic, but the flavor just wasn't there (almost like elevated sautéed vegetables) with most of the flavoring from its charred and crisped mushrooms. The matcha latte was okay, but my meal and drink totaled $34, which felt pricey for what I got. The portions were decent, but the flavors didn't stand out. The service was friendly, but overall not in a rush to come back but would love to give another try on other dishes or pastries.

This place has a sort of modern cozy vibe. We came around noonish and it wasn't too busy! You order at the front, they give you a number, and then you choose your own seating. They'll bring your food to you when it's ready! The food was pretty good, however some of their options can be a bit pricey, especially with certain add-ons. The vanilla latte and the honey lavender latte were both smooth and not too sweet. I had the Jimbo's Burrito and I loved the avocado and the tater tots inside!

It was a crowded Christmas Eve here! Some menu items that caught my eye: french toast, pancakes, furikake chicken sandwich. Pancakes were only offered on the weekends so I couldn't order that and since I planned on getting a slice of cake as well, I wanted to try something more savory. Unfortunately didn't get to try the chicken sandwich either because they were out of brioche. I ended up trying the breakfast burrito, the grilled cheese, and the milk & cereal cake slice. The breakfast entrees were fantastic. - The grilled cheese was surprisingly massive but it was this crispy rustic toast with melted cheese and tomato bits sandwiched in the middle. It's definitely a dipper if you had something to dip it in. - Breakfast burrito had crispy tater tots inside, finely chopped sausage and bacon, some egg, and a chipotle crema on the side. - Milk & cereal cake tastes like a tres leches with fruity pebble bits on top as texture. Not extremely sweet but it gets sweet once you're halfway through with it. Overall would come again and try more of their menu.

I'm going to be honest, I have no idea about coffee. I can barely order a Starbucks. The ONLY coffee I know is espresso martinis With that being said, I was not going to even attempt to order one here (they are known for all their delicious coffee! It smelled so good in here)I came for the CAKE! (This review is strictly for the dessert and service) When I first walked in I was hit by the great views of the dessert case. I've heard great things about their VERY popular - milk and cereal cake . Let me tell you, that's exactly what it tasted like. It hit me with the nostalgia of eating a bowl of fruity pebbles and milk I ended up also grabbing their - maple whisky cheesecake. To be honest I couldn't really taste the maple. Or the whisky. I had some very high hopes for this! It was honestly just okI also ordered their - Rocher cake (chocolate hazelnut cake that tasted just like the chocolate candy) I usually am not a fan of chocolate cake because it's usually dry in my opinion. But I loved this! I did order one macaron and that was amazing. I should have ordered more of those and they had some other delicious looking cookies. The customer service was honestly great. The guy helping me was really sweet and trying to help me with suggestions on drinks (i ultimately went with buying a sparkling water. I know, very lame of me) he was so nice and thoughtful and asked if I wanted a to go cup with ice for it. I definitely do need to come back and try some of their drinks. Another worker came up with some boxes to pack up my leftovers (he did this without asking. So they are very attentive here) and gave me a bag to carry it in This place is located with TONS of other places. They also have private parking This place is extremely popular and thankfully they have tons of seating inside. I even saw some places to sit outside. I 10000 percent will be back for their food and coffee. The brunch food would make any brunch girly shake in their boots. By reading their reviews and looking at tons of pics I already know what I have my eye set on when I come in for some brunch food This place was also extremely clean. It's a nice layout but very minimalist. I really liked it and thought it fit the whole vibe. Overall 5 stars I love this place and I haven't even tried their food or coffee, just their cakes

I've been here before for cake and drinks but i've never sat down to eat until recently and it was great!!! Everyone working was so nice and the wait for the food wasn't long at all. I ordered the breakfast bowl and my friend got the mushroom sisig which were both so delicious. We had to order something sweet on the side so we got the matcha mousse cake! Definitely a great place to go for brunch or a quick sweet treat!

Whenever I'm in Artesia, CA I always make it a point to grab a slice of one of my favorite cakes! The Cereal Milk cake is moist, sweetened to perfection and comes with a side of milk to smother over your cake slice. They have excellent service and amazing coffee! I definitely will eventually work my way to trying some of their other options but, for now go get a slice of that cake!!!

I came with a friend on Christmas Eve for lunch and it was packed! We were barely able to snag seats at the communal table and made our orders. I know the coffee here is supposed to be amazing, but I didn't order it this time lol. Instead we opted for the milk and cereal cake, grilled cheese and breakfast burrito. The milk and cereal cake is all that it's hyped up to be. It's reminiscent of a tres leches but with a fruity pebble kick. It was decadent, delicious and just the right amount of sweet. It came with additional dipping sauce that made the milk and cereal flavor pop out even more. I was skeptical of the grilled cheese when it came out because it was so charred, but it was sooooo good! The tomato cut into the heaviness of the cheese perfectly. Every bite was delicious and crisp.I only took a small bite of my friend's breakfast burrito but it was also really good. The sauce that came with it complimented it well and the burrito was super stuffed! I'll definitely come back to try the coffee next time!
