When I'm here, I upgrade to the all you can eat sashimi option. The AYCE sashimi option comes in AYCE ramen, which goes perfectly with the sashimi. My husband loves oyster, so with the upgrade options, he also get all the oyster he wants to eat. We personally think the upgrade is worth it because if you were to get a plate a 8 piece yellowtail at any Japanese restaurant, it would cost around $20.00 already. The service here is slow and inattentive. The staff here gives you the annoyance face when you ask for service. The water come slow, the food comes slow and just slow overall. The restaurant is a little old and rundown, but I'm not sure they would want to spend the money to upgrade the place. Overall, I would say this is my favorite AYCE sushi place because of the sashimi option and the ramen that comes with the upgrade.

My wife and I arrived around 5 p.m. on a Sunday afternoon. I immediately noticed that the owner may be Korean because a K-pop music video was playing. Based on PitchBook, looks about right. The waitstaff were busy serving food and drinks, which was understandable. However, even though there was no waitlist, we waved to several staff members without being acknowledged. The most annoying part was that some of them made eye contact with us while we stood at the entrance, yet still ignored us for five to ten minutes until one waitress finally asked if we were a party of two and got us seated. The food itself was decent--not the best sushi or sashimi in town--but it's a typical AYCE setup where you get three rounds to select your dishes. The menu consists mostly of rolls, with some typical sashimi options. Keep in mind that sashimi is considered a premium item and costs an extra fee. Also, the price for AYCE isn't shown on the menu; you have to ask a staff member, and it seems they adjust the price daily based on the cost of fish or supplies. They even have a Korean instant noodle cooker, famous in Korea for making AYCE ramen with various types of noodles. This was a bit off-putting since you come here for AYCE sushi, not AYCE ramen, but I guess if miso soup or udon noodle isn't enough, you can opt for the instant ramen. I wasn't quite sure what the menu meant by "sushi" until I saw people ordering it and being served inari sushi--I wish they had labeled it as inari sushi rather than using the broad term "sushi."They also offer a premium menu featuring items like "Fish & Chips," "Beef Taco," and "Philly Cheesesteak Rolls." We ordered Fish & Chips and Philly Cheesesteak Rolls, but they never came to our table. I even overheard another customer order a "Beef Taco" only to be told it was out of stock--so that premium menu basically boils down to sashimi.Best advice: just go with the premium option and order plenty of sashimi, and maybe a few "sushi" (or rather, inari sushi). The rolls are good, but you get four pieces per roll with rice--probably equivalent to one bowl of rice--so you'll get full quickly. My wife found the sauces on the rolls were too sweet for her taste. The biggest pro I found is that you can take home your leftovers, which is hard to find at AYCE sushi restaurants. I've got to hand it to them for that.

Late night sushi cravings satisfied! Decided to give this ayce spot a try and we were all extremely happy with the service and the quality of fish and food. There are plenty of choices when it comes to sushi, apps, rolls and sashimi. All were beautifully displayed and brought together with great assembly (we consumed with great vigor we didn't even get a picture until our last round). I was extremely pleased that the sushi and rolls weren't rice heavy, and it was a perfect portion ratio of fish to rice. I was also pleasantly surprised by the amount of hand rolls they had to offer, i enjoyed a couple yellow tail ones and a spicy tuna! soo good. You can see and taste the freshness of all fish and variety too which was greatly appreciated. As the night progressed more family and friend groups showed up so it was nice to see a lively environment alongside the variety of music they have playing. A new found favorite ayce spot.

What a pleasant evening, as this dinner was for three friends to enjoy catching up after many years. To top it off the food was tasty too. Our friend helped choose the dishes as he has been there a few times. So I can tell you that I would definitely go back again and would recommend others to try it as well.

Came here with my kids as they wanted to have some sushi after going out. The place is kinda hidden behind the shopping center, better to park around the back. As for service it was a 50/50, kept having to flag down people for service and even then twice they forgot to bring stuff requested. Prices are a bit higher than the other AYCE place I've been to for similar selections they offer. Sushi was overall pretty fresh, flavorful and had good texture to it. Overall I probably wouldn't wouldn't make it a first choice to come back, and would like to give other places a try.

Sushi lovers' paradise. A place like this is worth sharing. Invited my friend here to celebrate her birthday and she LOVED it. We chose the Premium Plus AYCE ($49.95 each), which is a really good price, this includes unlimited oysters and one serving (per person) of uni, scallop and toro. We visited on a Sunday for lunch and there was no wait at noon, when they open. We were seated right away and got our order rolling out pretty quickly. I've always come for dinner, and it gets pretty packed. They don't take reservations, so just be ready for to wait if needed.

In my opinion, this is one of the best AYCE sushi restaurants I've been to in SoCal in terms of quality. This location is hidden away in a little corner of a mostly empty plaza. We arrived for lunch on a Saturday with a party of around 8 around 3PM & were seated immediately. At the time of writing this review, there are two types of AYCE menus: -The sushi menu, where all you can get are pretty much just the sushi rolls. -The premium menu, for $10 more, where you can also order pieces of sashimi without any rice.Although the premium sushi menu is nice, the regular menu is more than enough. I have to point out, it seems they serve their sushi with less portions of rice compared to other comparable restaurants - which is always a plus as it delays your stomach from inevitably exploding which all AYCE restaurants cause. The fish also seems to be of higher quality compared to other restaurants in SoCal.TL;DR - An AYCE sushi restaurant which at first glance might seem a little pricey compared to its competitors, but well worth it in quality & rice portions.

This shop had a special promo when we went! I think it was 4 AYCE get one free. Which was perfect for the party of 5 that we had. We were STUFFED after eating. But everything we ordered was so good. It took a little bit to get our order started and picked up in between rounds. The sushi boat was so pretty The manager/owner was really nice and let us know they had a ramen bar that he recommended at the end. We only ended up having the cream because we were too full. But the option was nice to have :)

Tucked away in a little shopping center, we have AYCE Sushi HB!Once you go inside you'll be greeted with the friendly staff members! We came with a party of 6 + a little one, and they gave us a deal for the AYCE which was buy 4 get the 5th AYCE free. Which worked out perfectly, because one person in our party was not doing the AYCE.We ordered a lot of sushi, but the star is the Sashimi in the AYCE Premium menu! Comes with some amazing wasabi! You get a bang for your buck for this AYCE! Plus they added new items, like a scallop with garlic noodles, Philly Cheesesteak Roll, and Ramen (Shin Red, Jin, and Buldak [both 2x Spicy and Carbonara])So you can definitely get variety here! Something for everyone to have!

We got the AYCE. The fish was so fresh. It wasn't busy. In fact, it was half empty. The ratio of fish to rice was good. Everything tasted good, and the colors were so pretty. There was also matcha green tea ice cream for dessert. If raw fish isn't your jam, I saw some cool instant Korean ramen options. Very trendy and fun.
