Awoolim Kimbap Factory

The kimbap factory is located inside Hmart. I recently tried the Omelette Rice for $12.xx, and it was better than I expect ed! The dish is topped with a flavorful sweet tomato sauce. While I usually prefer my eggs a bit softer, the omelette was still good. One of the highlights for me was the generous amount of shrimp mixed into the rice. The portion size was large enough for two people to share. The meal also came with a side of soup and a daikon which was a nice bonus. The lady's behind the counter was attentive. Even though I only ordered one thing they provided two sets of utensils without asking. Overall, a satisfying experience.

My wife were looking for a snack while we were shopping in H Mart. We saw this place and ordered Kimnap and tteokbokki. Both were okay - nothing impressive but for grocery store food you can't really complain much.

Find Awoolim Kimbap Factory inside H Mart in Buena Park. Hard to resist this place whenever we go shopping at H Mart. Still, we have always been able to resist except for one time.That one time we tried their Spam Kimchi Fried Rice and their Fishcakes. Both items tasted yummy. We brought the food back to my sister in'law's place cause there was no indoor dining at H-Mart.With regards to service, I have no complaints unlike other Yelpers. More than likely, we will try more of their food offerings in the future.

Ordered a KatsuCurry, taste so bad, the curry sauce was very salty and can't taste much of curry paste. It is literally katsu, rice, curry, and daikon. No salad or other condiments you would expect. Or course red pickled radish. I've asked for it, Fukujin, the cashier was looking at me in a weird way. Lol. I guess I am the weird one then. Don't expect a smiley face from the cashier. She looked very tired and not trying to explain the menu at all. I had to search more pictures on yelp. The price was cheap but I wouldn't shop here again.

Great to-go spot located inside H-Mart in Buena Park.They offer a variety of food like spicy rice cakes, kimbap, omelette rice, and fried chicken.I got an order of the soy garlic chicken which came with 10 pieces for $15.95. I also got a salmon skin kimbap. They have a large variety of kimbap offerings, and they all look very tasty. The chicken was crispy and flavorful, even better than some restaurants! Glad I could try it and would definitely come back when I'm craving Korean fried chicken.

You can't miss the endless rows of kimbap displayed on the countertop. They also serve hot foods, but I have yet to try their menu items. I'm a creature of habit and love variety, so naturally my go-to order is the assorted flavors kimbap (bulgogi, tuna, fish cake, and veggie). You get 5 pieces of each flavor, totaling 20. This is the perfect on-the-go snack, for a picnic, a potluck, or just an addition to a meal. Service is always friendly and food is solid. I always pick up kimbap whenever I shop at Hmart.

I don't leave reviews often, but today I want to leave a review because I ate spoiled kimbap here and the employee's attitude was bad.I bought 5 kinds of gimbap yesterday and ate it right away in less than 30 minutes. One of them, tuna kimbap smelled bad when the lid was opened, and the taste was spoiled, so I threw it away without eating it. The next day, today, I stopped by on the way to the mart and talked about this situation, and the employee's attitude was very unpleasant. She kept doing other things without an apology and just gave me $7.75 for a kimbap, and she saying, "Why did you come the next day without telling me on the day?"To be honest, rather than going to get a refund, I tried to let others know not to sell spoiled food, and an apology was enough. Yesterday I ate spoiled food and probably had an upset stomach, but her attitude was completely unapologetic.I will never buy kimbap here again because I feel bad about this and I doubt the hygiene of the food.

First off, we have been coming here for rolls and chicken wings for YEARS, and we will continue to do so but now with less frequency. The rolls were all good and are still good. The ONE STAR is only for the wings and I hope the owners read this and take corrective actions. Pre-pandemic chicken wings were larger and they were always deep fried well - crispy skin with juicy center. Now, the wings are substantially smaller and over fried - hard shell with dry center. If the owners wish to maintain the same profit margin by using smaller chicken wings, then please adjust your cooking time to at least maintain the same quality. I can deal with getting less for my money because of inflation, but there's no excuse for turning out badly cooked food.

This review is based on their customer service and not on the quality of their food.I called to inquire about catering kimbap and chicken for my daughter's birthday party. The lady on the phone was very eager to hang up. The only response she would give me was "just come in person and we can talk about it ok???" I would have liked to place the order through the phone and pick up my order on the day of the event since H-Mart (which is where the restaurant is located inside of) is a 25-min drive one-way from where I live... Oh well.Her rude manner and poor customer service wasenough for me to look for a difference place.

I was the only one who waited in line and they kept helping people cut in , and than when finally my chance to purchase , I asked one single question, and he said if you are not ready to order than come back when you are ready! What!!!!You should not take advantage of someone who is so polite like me! Rude rude rude!!!!I was regular at this place never ever going to buy anything here again!!Thanks for ruining the whole day!
