This unassuming restaurant right off the 22 and Fairview offers a wide variety of some seriously cheap and delicious Mexican dishes and deserves far more attention. It was 9:15 on a weekend night and I had a hunger itch that only a Coctel de Camarones (Mexican Prawn Cocktail) and some street tacos could scratch--a tall order this time of night but I gave it a shot. Thirty minutes later of driving around, I was about to give up but decided to hit up one last establishment and my perseverance was well rewarded! Not only did this place offer everything (and more) that I was craving for, everything was exceptional in taste and quality--even the seafood, which was especially impressive when considering that it was less than half an hour til closing. I got the following:- Coctel de Camarones - Shrimp was succulent and crunchy, cocktail sauce was bright and fresh. Would have liked a bit more pico/avocado.- Tacos (Asada, Pastor, Tripa, Cabeza) - All fantastic. - Caldo de Pollo (Chicken Soup) - Perfect hearty clear broth that hits the spot on a chilly night. I ordered a large and it had half a chicken (which cooked with the soup)- The corn tortillas provided on the side blew my MIND. They taste homemade and were supple and had an incredibly fragrant nutty maize aroma--easily the best tortilla I have ever had. **Were not the tortilla used for tacos.I was able to wait in the car while the food was being prepared and it was brought out shortly by a friendly worker. Definitely will be back to try other dishes and for Taco Tuesday.

First time here and this place really amazed me! The food is amazingly good! They have a tent outside for outdoor seating during this pandemic. They are also very clean and the staff wears mask as well. The server was really sweet. Variety of food selection for what ever you might be craving. Highly recommend their food. Will be coming back again to try their tacos and quesadillas! (:

Al pastor here is delicious! This place is pretty close to home but I've only been here twice lol. I've tried their other tacos but hands down al pastorIs their best. Customer service from the front cash register girls needs to be better. Try greeting your non-Mexican guests like you do your native folks. I've been here twice and both times they see you enter and don't even greet you. "Hi" is pretty universal so try opening your mouth and say it to your paying customers. There were customers who came in after me and they were ahem (Mexican) and the girls "hola" them. Tsk tsk. Shaking my head at you...

Amazing street tacos! If you ever feel like having something as close to what we are used to in Mexico.Stop by and order Alpastor. You have to go in and order then you pick them up outside with the receipt.Feel free to take all the condiments you will need. Red sauce is hot and like always green mild.Staff is always serving you with a smile and also can sit inside and have a beer or 2 :)RegardsMichael

I discovered this place through my dad- he likes coming on the weekend because they have a taco man outside. My dad enjoys the "el pastor" those are his favorite. When I came the first time I noticed they had chile relleno and I have to say by far this place has the best one I've tried in orange county!!!! There chilaquiles are amazing too. One of the best mexican restaurants to go to if you want authenticity
