I've driven by this spot a lot but never got to drop by! Parking can be difficult to find unless you park in one of the nearby garages but I luckily found in right in front of the joint so decided to drop in.I ordered a half sandwich of the De Rossi and I wish that I had ordered the full! So freaking good. I'm definitely going to hyper fixate on these sandwiches for the next couple of weeks. Their menu is super extensive and the price point isn't bad at all for what you get! If you don't know what to eat for lunch, I recommend coming here as you'll leave happy for sure.

I have been into this small business a couple times before and it's very cute and clean. It has a food/bar area but is also a small grocer with unique items and standard grocery items: some pastas, chips beer/wine, etc. It's a nice little neighborhood spot. I never bought anything in-store, so I can't speak to their customer service. On this occasion I just ordered DoorDash. We ordered a little bit of everything: sandwiches, a pizza, whipped feta, pickled eggs and sides of mac salad and potato salad. Sandwiches were good; simple, flavorful and I love that you can order a half or whole. The half sandwiches were about $8/9, I felt like it was a pretty good deal; paired with their sides at $5.25/8 oz, it was enough of a filling meal for me but probably a light lunch for someone with a heartier appetite. Sopressata pizza was good, probably better dining in, as it lost a bit of crunch and melty-ness; $17.50 might be a bit much as it's thin and more of a personal pizza size. There's other places who serve a similar style, but bigger, for only a few dollars more. Still good though. Deviled eggs were ok. Probably wouldn't do again, especially for the price. Sides were yummy and fresh. I'd choose the mac salad over the potato salad though, as it was more flavorful. Potatoes needed salt for sure. Whipped feta was the standout: creamy, sweet with chopped green onions and toasted bread/pita. Also, the Spicy Mo, Yo! sandwich (although I'd add mayo in the future). Bread tastes fresh baked and had great flavor. Highly likely we would order from here again for something fresh and light.

I stopped in here for a late lunch after arriving in Long Beach and checking in to my AirBnB. The location is great just off of Pine, and it seems situated between the downtown buildings and close to the residential areas which makes it a perfect spot to be able to walk to and hang out. There is a patio open to the sounds of downtown or the interior which is set up kind of like a diner with counter service and a few tables. The atmosphere is different for both so it's great to be able to choose which you want to have that day. The server behind the counter was welcoming, and she gave me a paper menu to peruse. There is a QR code as well to be able to see the menu and drink offerings. There is a great variety of sandwiches and a decent variety of salads. The draft and can beer menu is extensive and has some incredible options. I chose to have a half De Rossi sandwich on sourdough and potato salad with a wit beer to drink. The sandwich was incredibly delicious! Whoever came up with the combination to put those items together did it right. I had a hard time choosing the sandwich given the other great options as well. The potato salad was creamy and had a yummy bite with good size pieces of potatoes. The wit beer was also really good.I highly recommend trying this place out for some good food and good beer. There is also a shuffleboard table and weekday events like trivia and game nights.

Cute spot for a quick bite. We tried the avacado toast and a couple sandwiches. The meatball and the turkey blt. Everything was served quickly and the banter stopped while we devoured our tasty treats. Tip: half sandwich has more than enough if your pairing with other stuff.

It was 99 degrees in Long Beach today so I wiped down my counter and closed my kitchen for the day. I walked to Anna's with the perfect cold sandwich in mind. I've been inside this sweet little deli/liquor before but never tried the sandwiches so I was excited to be there. I ordered the De Rossi, it's a cold cut sandwich made to order. They have plenty of seating if you feel like dining in or outside facing Pine Ave. The sandwich was exactly what I day dreamed about and met all of my expectations. The ingredients are fresh and delicious. I forgot about the heat for a few minutes and just enjoyed the moment with my dog (they have dog treats here and are dog friendly!) Can't wait to go back and try something else from the menu!

You know what? I really like this place. It's such a chill and dog-friendly place to grab a simple bite and cold beer/wine. Food options include: salads, hot and cold sandwiches, and soups. Their deli next door supplies all the food for Anna's Joint. I tried #10 The Track Suit sandwich (Italian) on baguette and it was perfect! The bread was so fresh, which is so incredibly important for a sandwich. There's also wine by the glass and bottle, and both draft and non-draft beer. I tried a fruity-sour beer on draft (Elderberry) and it was DELICIOUS. The seating outside would be best for small groups because the seating indoors is mainly stool/counter seating.Service was friendly! Would love to visit again!

After a good climbing session at Long Beach Rising, my friend suggested we grab sandwiches after at Anna's Joint...and what a GREAT suggestion! We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and were able to easily find street parking closeby. Anna's Joint is a cozy shop. They have a good-sized bar space with plenty of intimate tables inside and out on the patio, but would not come in with a large group as none of the tables are really suited for a large party. We ordered at the counter and our food was brought out to us. I ordered the pickled tachhino on foccacia, and my partner had the pollame populi on sourdough. The foccacia was AMAZING! Soft and flavorful - the bread was thick and soaked in all the wonderful sauces. My partner REALLY enjoyed his sandwich out of the two of ours, but wishes he had gotten it with foccacia bread (it was THAT good!).Anna's also offers great brews on tap, and we also ordered a couple appetizers to share for the table. We had a great time and a tasty and filling meal. Would definitely stop back in if we have the chance!

Spent about 60 on three sandwiches, soup, and salt vinegar tots. Very v disappointing. Meatball sub came cold, and had almost no sauce, flavor of the meatball were cut in half. For the price I can go across the street and get a fully loaded meatball footlongTheir italian(track suit) was decent (didn't like the olives) but again for price and the size of the half baguette I can't justify ordering it again (Gf got Nashville hot sandwich on foccioca, she said it tasted good but nothing to have about. Chicken itself was under seasoned. And her tortilla soup had no tortillas and lacking flavor We live 4 min away and waited for about 25 min for our order to be ready(longer than expected for a quick lunch) with again one of the sandwiches being cold 4 min after they handed to us The spiced mocha also came lukewarm/cold temp

Sandwiches are wayyyyy overpriced for the amount you get and taste. Got the #2 and spent $18 for a steak sandwich and its more of a $10 sandwich for the taste, amount, and price. Wouldn't recommend unless they go down $5 for their sandwiches. My girlfriend got the nachos for $12 and sadly disappointed with those too.
