An Noodles and Pho

Saw the sign in front of An Noodles and Pho before it was open, and waited in anticipation for the grand opening. It was finally time to visit this new La Mirada restaurant and explore its interesting fusion cuisine.We were warmly greeted by Jay who took our order, and a few minutes later had the pleasure of meeting Antoine the owner, who is not only super friendly, but also amazingly passionate about the food they prepare.We ordered the grilled pork vermicelli, the house special pho and the bulgogi ribeye sandwich (banmi). The pho broth was incredibly tasty and it was served with generous amounts of beef, basil, bean sprouts and not to mentions loads of noodles... it was a very big bowl!The grilled pork vermicelli was a complete surprise, as it did not have the standard thinly sliced grilled pork, but rather thick pieces of multilayer grilled pork with a crispy top and deeply marinated in some kind of lemon grass sauce. Not only was it juicy, but exploding with fantastic flavor unlike anything we've tasted before... an incredible find and a taste buds treasure to be sure. Almost forgot... the egg roll was out of this world too, a very unique taste experience.The humble bulgogi ribeye sandwich did not disappoint. The bread was perfectly flaky outside and soft inside while loaded with lots of veggies a super scrumptious and tender marinated ribeye.We are happy that An Noodles and Pho decided to open this location in La Mirada, and is now going to be one of our go to Vietnamese restaurants in the area. Can't wait to try all of their other dishes, it is going to be an incredible culinary adventure each and every time! Great food, great folks, great ambiance... what else do you need?

I usually don't like to try new restaurants this early but I had to because I was craving noodles and spring rolls! I had bookmarked this spot a few days prior to trying it but I saw that it was on the way home from where I was so I decided to order for pick-up. I was quoted 15 minutes which was perfect because I was around 15 to 20 minutes away!Here's what I ordered: **Shrimp Spring Rolls: Visually, the spring rolls looked very sad. Once I bit into the roll, I observed that it wasn't fully stuffed and was falling apart. The filling itself was very bland and the shrimp inside was very small as well. The peanut sauce was good but was way too salty. I've never seen peanut sauce that dark before. (2/5)**Grilled Pork Rice: Egg is included which is a plus doing these times with egg shortages. The grilled pork itself is seasoned well and had a very good balance of flavors. The dish itself advertises that it has veggies but it's only a very thin bed of very thin shredded bits of lettuce. I generally love rice by itself but this particular rice was flavorless and hard in some spots. (3/5)**Garlic Noodles and Shrimp: They should name this buttery noodles because the garlic flavor was non-existent. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and had a nice flavor. The house sauce was a great addition but was extremely salty. Without the house sauce, the dish itself was 90% butter. (2/5)I was looking forward to eating their pho but since I had a new crown just fitted less than half an hour back, I resorted to solid foods and not soup. The food itself wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. On the bright side, the proteins in the dishes were the highlights but everything else was very bland. It is definitely cheaper than most places. Service was also very friendly and had my order as soon as I walked through the door. Maybe I'll give them another shot in the near future.

Beyond happy to have this new spot in our neighborhood! One of the rare places I've eaten where the actual dish matches the high end photo presented on the menu.I had the Shaken Fillet Mignon and Garlic Cinlantro Rice and it was amazing! Everything was fresh, love the rice and the fillet cooked to perfection. Perfect place to celebrate Valentines with my beautiful wife We'll definitely be back!

Delicious! So excited for this spot in the neighborhood. The service was great, space was nice, and food was delicious. My party took it to-go: egg rolls, spring rolls, and crispy pork belly with vermicelli. We also ordered Ube coffee and cucumber lemonade. Amazing. I highly recommend trying this restaurant!

Food is very yummy and affordable along with their drinks which are very unique and delicious. Service and staff are friendly and good. Their pork belly is very crispy and mouth watering!

My friend and I didn't know what to eat until we crossed upon an noodles and pho. The food was DELICIOUS and an good affordable meal. My friend and I got combination pho, egg rolls, spring roll, bulgogi garlic noodles, and crispy pork with rice. The service was GREAT ! They were so nice and sweet. They even gave us free drinks. I enjoy this place and I can't wait to come back and order more !

Found this hidden gem with a wide variety of Vietnamese foods. We got the rare steak pho and the combination pho big portion and tasty broth!The Crispy pork belly sandwich was a nice twist from the classic bahn mi, also very good. The chicken satay appetizer was full of flavor with peanut dipping sauce. The staff is very nice and made sure we were happy. They also offered free tea and sodas as of 3/5. Cozy spot with good staff and good food!

Highly recommend service is great. The restaurant is very clean. Food was very tasty. Food came out fairly quickly. People greeting or very welcoming. Must check it out I will be back!
