Not the cheapest place and not the best place but better than typical Ono chains. I remember craving it one day and ordering a seafood combo type dish and enjoyed it enough at about $20 for 2 meals.Would likely find myself back here when the craving hits.

Was in the area getting boba next door and decided to stop by and grab dinner here. My date and I decided to eat here as they had a variety of food on their menu. My date got the pork katsu combo and I got the chicken katsu mini meal. The food was very flavorful and the meat was very tender. The katsu was delicious. Most katsus I've tasted have a thick batter to it. This katsu's breading was thin and flavorful so you can also get just enough chicken to your bite. And they give a lot of chicken in the mini meal. The guy who took our order was very friendly and helpful when taking our order. Although we were the only ones eating there, I noticed they get busy with a lot of pick up orders. I so glad there's a Hawaiian food joint in the West Covina area. So if you're ever craving Hawaiian food, check this place out.

Amazing katsu and macaroni salad. Their spam musubi is so tasty too! Minus 1 star for their Hawaiian Garlic Shrimp plate. The shrimp has yummy garlic flavor but a bit too much where you literally have the aftertaste of the garlic in your mouth the day after eating it, still lingering after you've routinely daily brushed your teeth lol. Their mini plates are yummy and so are their BBQ combos, but I probably wouldn't order the shrimp plate again.

Ahi Hawaiian BBQ serves large portions. If you've visited any other Hawaiian BBQ restaurant, your assumption is probably accurate.I ordered a Chicken Katsu plate, Loco Moco w/ sunny side up eggs, and Spam Musubi.[Chicken Katsu] It's satisfying. The katsu pieces are thick; the battered chicken is moist. It's not crusty dry which is pleasant.[Loco Moco] The meat patties are thick with little seasoning. The sunny side eggs were cooked perfectly. However, the gravy tastes sweet and sugary.[Spam Musubi]Little seaweed with big rice and thick spam. Rice is slightly mushy while its sauce is also sweet and sugary.Service: The employee behind the register is helpful and welcoming. He did an excellent job with explaining the menu. Ambiance:This location is clean. It's welcoming, and there's a good amount of room.Overall, AHI Hawaiian BBQ is a good location if you're primarily searching for large portions. At the very least, it's filling when you're in a hurry.

I placed a large catering order for 200 people. Let me tell you, the order is all ready and it took them a few mins to load it into my car. The food was amazing and wonderful. I was scared of running out of food, no we had a ton left order. Trust their word on the amount it serves the owner was so nice to work with, as was the manager. I will definitely be using them again for future events
