Abelitos Mexican Food

There have been a few places at this location really recently, but I hope this one sticks around. The food here is great, the portions are generous and the prices modest. The drive thru could use an upgrade, but we make do with what they've got. Every breakfast burrito I've had there is fantastic!

This was my second time coming here, and I've had a solid experience both times. The first time, I got a Wet Chicken Burrito and it was loaded, they definitely didn't skimp on anything.This time, I decided to try their tacos. I went with Carne Asada and Carnitas for the protein options. They were okay--not the best I've had, but still enjoyable enough that I finished them all. The price is definitely a plus: 5 tacos for $10, and it even comes with a drink, which I think is a great deal.The service here is pretty quick, and the food comes out fresh, which I appreciate. The place itself is clean, newly remodeled, and feels like a definite step up from what was here before. Overall, it's a solid spot for a quick and affordable meal, and I'll probably be back to try more of their menu.

This is an good late evening option, when looking for drive-through Mexican food. I get the carne asada enchilada. Generous portion size. Flavor is not bad.

I never have my expectations too high with Mexican food like this place because it's mainly for the convenience and the price. After reading the mostly positive reviews, I decided to finally try this place out because it's close to work and they have a drive thru.Here's what I ordered: **California Burrito: For the price, it's a really good deal. It's a pretty hefty burrito with tons of meat but the asada had little to no flavor. There was plenty of rice but lacking with everything else especially guacamole, pico de gallo, and fries. I got their salsa verde and it was a little bit on the chunkier side which is good. Great deal for the price but everything else was lacking. (2/5)**Agua Fresca - Jamaica: Not too flavorful. Not sweet but not too sour either. Overall, it was really bland even before the ice melted. (1/5)Once I arrived to the drive thru, nobody was on the other side of the intercom so I had to say hello to get the guy's attention. Also, when I arrived to the window, the guy was too busy standing around for a good 2 to 3 minutes. After I paid, another 2 to 3 minutes go by without a peep. Guy was nice but the amount of waiting at an empty drive thru and dining area with one person inside was ridiculous.I do not recommend this spot unless you're looking for a decent portion of subpar Mexican food for an affordable price.

Went inside and ordered a California burrito. - Counter service was friendly- Tortilla was soft and fresh tasting- Carne asada was tender, juicy, and plenty- Interior remodel freshened up the atmosphereOverall, 5/5 burrito, good staff, solid experience. Definitely satisfies a craving and I'd come back again.

LOVE that they close late, 1am. Drive thru was so convenient and fast and workers were so funny.Ordered the super fries but swapped the carne asada w al pastor n it was p bombbb I don't doubt that their carne asada is just as good but will definitely be trying next time! Does not include pico de gallo which I had to add on. The price on menu was around $13 so I have a feeling it costed extra to swap meat or add pico de gallo. Total came out to be $16.79. Aside from the meat, the overall taste of the fries and other toppings were ok. There wasn't much flavor even after I added their salsa verde. The portion is pretty good which makes the price kind of worth it but taste can definitely improve.

I've had the Carne Asada Burrito, California Burrito, and Fish Burrito here. After all is said and done, it pretty much taste exactly the same as Sabrosada except at a cheaper price. The tartar sauce for the Fish Burrito needs to be thicker as the texture is basically water so you don't taste the flavor of the sauce.

Was craving carne asada fries so bad at night and tried this new place in my neighborhood. Did not have high expectations but it actually hit the spot! Had to add pico de gallo bc it doesn't come with it. Their salsas are good too. Come here for ur late night cravings!

I've been coming here since they've opened. I always grab their California Burrito and 5 mini taco + drink combo. They also give perfect amount of limes and sauces when asked!!

Really good tacos and they give a good portion size with guacamole for regular (not small) tacos. There's an option for small too. The guacamole is so good with red and green sauce. Yum!
