My roommate and I ordered a bunch of sushi for takeout. Usually takeout food isn't great, but this sushi was AMAZING!!!! Especially for traveling??! We definitely will be back in person & I will absolutely become a regular here and also be addicted to ordering takeout sushi. This is now my #1 go to sushi spot- no hesitation. Literally the best sushi. We ordered the following:* Vegetable gyoza* 2 Philly rolls* Spicy salmon* Shrimp tempura maki* Sweet potato tempura maki* Godzilla* Crazy salmonOne thing about me is that I'll always order a sweet potato roll. This was THE best sweet potato roll I've ever had. It was warm and the unagi sauce was amazing. Plus the seaweed - ugh, yum! And not to mention the size of the roll for only $7?!?! ALL rolls were fresh and absolutely delicious, even the simple ones. Perfectly balanced, tasted like premium sushi. The prices are so good, even the special rolls for what you get. I can't rave about this place enough!!

Absolutely delicious. Crispy rice with spicy tuna was a treat. They also have these dine-in only nigiri that they do. It's not clear on the menu, but if you ask, they have a combo where you can get one of each. They were all delicious. The fish was at a perfect temperature and felt like butter in my mouth. I didn't know fish could be so soft!

Came in for dinner got seated, sat there for 15 minutes no one acknowledged us. If someone would have at least did that we would have e stayed. With all the choices in the city I'm not spending my money at a place that doesn't give the minimal amount of service. Amore is a hard pass for me.

Travelled a distance for this fairly new sushi restaurant in the heart of the LGBTQ community of Chicago and for the most part, it didn't disappoint.First off, I wish it was advertised more visibly there was free parking nearby on broadway. Had to walk about 5 city blocks to get here in 32F weather.Understandably, we were a little rushed as they were closing in an hour upon our arrival but they still managed to serve us amazing looking and tasting dishes.The interior was well decorated and the plating for each dish look meticulously prepared, which was noticed and appreciated.I was not too pleased there were fish bones in my Sashimi considering the price paid for the 15 pieces. If it hadn't been for that, this would be a 5 star review. Prices for this place is definitely on the pricier side for sushi so don't come here if you're looking to save some dollars.I'd like to come back and try their Omakase which was reasonably priced at $56.95 for 9 courses.
