BRAISED WAGYU BEEF CHEEKS - what a delightful plate. The beef cheek was cooked so perfectly, I wish i had ordered it as my main too.

If you are looking for some Italian food, i would recommend stopping by Americano. What a flavorful experience i had with the family. The classy atmosphere and tasteful artwork makes this place so elegant! The vibe is extremely classy, we had my 3 year old with us, but oh well I went for the food. Waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu which was awesome.

Came here for the second time and though slightly disappointed, it remains one of my favorite restaurants here in the Valley. The atmosphere is casual chic, where you can feel comfortable in both jeans and a cocktail dress. The service remains top tier. My only complaint was not having my glass of wine refilled (not a big deal... I ended up moving the wine closer to the table for easy access). We ordered the focaccia bread and heirloom tomato salad to start. Both were delicious. We also had the filet which was well seasoned and cooked to perfection, no sauces needed. The pastas (braised rib ravioli and lamb papparedelle), though delicious in flavor, both came out cold which was disappointing. Our server did ensure to get the one remade and other replaced (they ran out of the lamb ). The replacement pastas were delicious. Overall, I'd come back while possibly avoiding weekend nights.

My friend and I dined in the bar at a hightop. Our reservation was at 6:15 and the hostesses were very welcoming and nice. We had a great server and we ordered cocktails but it took about 15-20 minutes for them to arrive. When I got mine, I got a French 75 instead of the French martini that I had ordered, but the server fixed that. We had a chopped up wedge salad that we shared that the kitchen split for us and then we each ordered the Wagyu beef cheeks for the entrée. Then we went downstairs and checked out the speakeasy which was quite lovely, beautiful, etc., but we didn't have a reservation so we were moved twice while seated at the bar to accommodate for other peoples reservations. It's understandable but I It was just a little weird.For example the first time we were seated at the bar, there was two open seats next to us and about 10 seconds after we received our drinks we were asked to move literally two seats down. Then a little while later, someone came and said that they made a mistake and actually we need to move to these other two open seats at the bar. I guess to clear up four seats for a reservation. The speakeasy was absolutely gorgeous and I would love to hang out there again. One thing of note they have one 'by the glass' Chardonnay on the menu and it is $31 a glass. My other feedback if the restaurant is looking at this was to turn down the volume on the band just a touch. The band was wonderful. The music was great. The singer was lovely, but it was just a little too loud. We kinda had to shout to have a conversation even though we were sitting right next to each other at the bar.

Okay, my husband and I have date night on Friday and decided to go to Americano, with luxury cars lined up to get in a good space. I thought this place would be incredibly delicious, but I was wrong. I ordered the grilled shrimp, which was tough and dry; then, we decided to have the Pomodoro with pasta. Its presentation was terrific; a glass doom surrounded the pasta. I was so excited I couldn't stand it. I placed my fork into this creamy sauce, and to my surprise, it tasted like Chef Boyardee!!!! I was so disappointed and saddened by the taste. You have an Italian restaurant claiming to make authentic Italian cruise, which tastes like that... I posted my bowl to the side and had another drink, and trust me, I had three bites, and every bite got worse than the first. Mushy pasta with thick heavy, oily sauce, no way! I could have made better saice from a can. My husband ordered gnocchi in clam sauce and said it was better the first time he had it. I would go there for happy hour and enjoy the drinks, but be cautious when ordering food. Ask questions before ordering.

Dinner at the bar on a Friday. The service from Cory was great as were his recommendations on food and wine. I love the sleek look and feel of this place. As well as the vibe and energy. Really good experience.

Our first visit. We had high expectations and they were all met. The old saying "you can't judge a book by its cover" certainly applies here. The outside of the building looks very plain. The inside is beautifully decorated and stylish. The entire staff is attentive, professional, and courteous. The service was excellent and the food amazing. We enjoyed the complete experience and will definitely be back.

The WORST service ever! So sad it used to be to be amazing. I have allergies to gluten and grain. Was asked by the hostess and she supposedly noted it. It was never noted. The waitress took our order and I again told her about my allergies. My food came out with grain and sauces that i couldn't have. It took the kitchen a very long time to remake the correct order. My family's dishes were incomplete as well. The food took forever to come out we were there for HOURS! We were ignored by the waitress. The table next to us was just as disappointed. Several tables were very angry. Will not be going back

Had the main pasta that chef conant makes. It seems to be signature and did not disappoint. The lobster came out whole and asked them to slice for the two of us which they did. The wine was great and fresh. The service was great as always. August was our waiter. We sat in the bar area at high top. Lots of people watching and like it there more than the restaurant.

I am not normally someone who leaves reviews... but this I felt was worthy. We have dined at high end and cost efficient kal restaurants throughout the valley. Yesterday was our first time at americano for a bday celebration. The ambience is great the food was good. When dining at a place like this we expect it to be pricey. However upon looking at our receipt the crab legs, which were some of the worse I have ever had were $115 an order.. that is more than double Dominick's, mastros, etc, and they were as thin as a pencil. Everything else was as expected.... But I would never get the crab legs ever from this establishment again.
