This was one of the best restaurants I've ever tried in my entire life. I don't know if I've ever had a better pizza, and I have been to countless Pizza & Italian restaurants. I don't give 5 stars unless a place has truly deserved it, and this restaurant definitely did.Amrogio15 has many locations around the SD area, we personally visited the one located in Pacific Beach. The atmosphere was the perfect blend of upscale and casual, and the distressed wooden walls and bright red chairs really gave the place a modern Italian vibe. The food was absolutely phenomenal. We started with bread and the Fried Calamari. The bread was perfect and the Fried Calamari was perfectly cooked, crispy, and came with 2 absolutely delectable dipping sauces. We also split a Insalata Della Casa (house salad) which was the perfect fresh palate cleanser in-between courses.The pizza, however, stole the show. My parents got the Margherita Pizza which they really enjoyed. I had a bite and it was amazing. However, I think mine was even better. I got the Salamino Piccante, which is mozzarella, salami, rosemary, garlic olive oil and grated parmigiano. It was one of the best pizzas I've ever tried in my life, the crust was the perfect thickness and the cheese and sausage were so flavorful. We ended with the yummy Crostata Frutti di Bosco that was topped with ice cream that tasted homemade. We will definitely be back when visiting SD, and definitely will be checking out the PHX location.

Best pizza in Pacific Beach. Great ingredients and crispy. The spicy salami pizza and potato white pizza are fantastic.

Buono! No complaints here. Loved the pizza parmigiana, mediterranean spritz, tiramisu and cappuccino. They import dough from Italy to make their pizza crust which is thin, crisp around the edges, yet chewy. The parmigiana pizza was cheesy comfort food with eggplant. The cocktail was light and refreshing with a slight bitterness from the white vermouth. The tiramisu was sweet and creamy with a hint of hazelnut. The cappuccino was well made and a good way to end dinner. It was a satisfying and delicious meal.The restaurant was quaint with a comfortable ambiance. The wait staff were friendly and there were no issues with service. There were a few customers who stopped by for takeout orders. Each took away a few boxes of pizza so it is a popular place. The menu is extensive and definitely worth returning for.

I don't remember what we ordered, but everything was phenomenal. Great crust, great sauce, yummy toppings. Group favorite was the burrata specialty pizza. Cute interior, has outdoor seating, nice servers

What incredible service! This sweet Italian restaurant is hidden between Pacific Beach and La Jolla on Turquoise. The menu is simple and the food is divine. This may be the best lasagna I have ever eaten stateside. Not your common tomatoey lasagna, and the pizza, CHEFS KISS! We were able to sit outside comfortably even though it was a cool time of year. Plenty of heat and we were able to bring our favorite Sam Sam !

This place has the most authentic Italian pizza that I've tried in San Diego so far! The crust was so good and thin and the burrata on top was delicious. Sprinkle some red pepper flakes on top and wow. I had a hard time deciding between the desserts. There's so many good ones!!! Of course they had tiramisu and a variety of gelatos, but I went for the berry tart that felt so refreshing - perfect summer dessert. It has a creamy texture but the cold berries on top and the berry sorbet give it a light feel. It's perfect for when you feel like you had way too much pizza but can't pass on dessert (and it's fruit so it's basically healthy...)! The patio outside is also really nice that you forget you are literally on Turquoise street with so many cars driving by. It's definitely a very cute date night spot! I was also impressed by how fast the food was brought out! The pizza took longer to make of course but the salad and the dessert were brought out in under 10 minutes. Love to see that, it's hard to get great service like that nowadays! Definitely will be coming back here!!

The pizza here is absolutely sublime. It's owned by an Italian fellow, allegedly, but what puts it over the top is its Brazilian servers. The pizzas are incredible and even the salad was delicious. I recommend this establishment to all.

After trying this spot for the first time, I know it definitely won't be my last. I really love pizza and this place makes it like you won't believe.Came here for dinner the other night - parking lot is really small, so might have to find parking elsewhere. I think it was rolling around dinner time, so we were the first party in.Super cute spot with Christmas decorations up. Staff is super attentive and menu is well organized.I got the Salamino Piccante pizza and a glass of moscato (love a sweet wine). The pizza was perfectly thin with the right amount of toppings. You can tell from each bite that the ingredients are quality. They also brought out the red peppers and a hot chili oil for us to use.The wine and pizza went really well together and I wish I had order an entire other pizza to go. Will be coming back!

Family and I arrived and were sat down quickly. Got pizzas at Ambrogio15 they were really good. Specially enjoyed the crusts. Definitely recommend!
