Amber Road Bar & Grille

The definition of a Hidden Gem! We loved almost everything about Amber Road. Ambiance is cute, although acoustics were a bit loud. Service from Ashlie was outstanding. She offered suggestions and was attentive throughout the meal, even though she was pretty busy. The food was really great, and we enjoyed everything we got. The lobster turnover was my favorite thing during the whole of this trip to Boston, and I will be thinking then when we get home. Black Truffle Chicken was also really delicious, too!Excellent drinks and a limited but thoughtful slate of wines by the glass.I already recommended it to a friend who was looking for a spot to dine this evening, and would tell anyone to get in for outstanding food!

The restaurant is stunning. We were greeted with a friendly face and sat down right away. Our server took our drink order and let us know the kitchen closes at 9pm. We had an 8:30 Rez. I ordered a Paloma and my husband had the Paperplane. The menu has several meat and seafood options with a few vegetarian plates. We ordered calamari, Margherita flatbread, the lemon chicken, and miso salmon. The food was super tasty. The dipping sauce for the calamari was unique. I would def get the salmon again. The chicken was good but nothing stood out to me. We liked the garlic on the flatbread. We hope to have more time for dessert in the future. Def would come back again.

The restaurant is beautiful! We went for lunch and it was pretty busy and noisy at 12:30pm. It really cleared out around 2. Tacos, avocado toast, salads and grain bowls were very good. Decent portions. Chocolate cake was decadent. The burger however was ordered medium and came out practically raw. Besides the undercooked burger, our biggest gripe is that this restaurant doesn't serve coffee! How can a restaurant not serve coffee?! Ok, the owner also owns the coffee bar in the lobby. So! Go get your diners some coffee to go with their cake. Kinda ridiculous.

This is a new restaurant (opened 5/2024) in the Financial District of Boston. Because of the location expect more crowds during weekdays and the after work crowd. The interiors are inviting and very well done- great lighting, beautiful artificial blossoming tree is a focal point inside. The bar is well lit, craft cocktails are offered as well as a good wine list. The outdoor patio has great seating- not a fan of the artificial plantings outside- but for end of summer it can pass. Everything we ordered was spot on in presentation, flavor and temperature and we found the menu easy - as there is something tasty for all palettes. Looking forward to returning.

Mason the manager made our night incredible. I flew in from Chicago to surprise my brother for his birthday and he went over and beyond to make the surprise extra extra special. Cora was super attentive and one of the best servers I've ever had. Mason also brought us champagne and made our night so memorable. Thoroughly impressed with Mason and Cora's hospitality.

Great dinner at this hidden gem. We were wary because it was not crowded but the food rocked.

You must go! This is a new restaurant and is a great addition. I went with a group and we all enjoyed it. Our favorites were the sliders, crab and avocado toast, and the garlic truffle chicken. Cocktails were tasty too. Nice atmosphere. The manager even came over and asked how everything was. We sat inside, but I think they had outdoor seating too. Great for drinks or dinner. It's great to have a tasty, new restaurant in the area. Run, don't walk!
