Amba

Absolutely delicious, unique offering in Cambridge. Fresh pita flows through many offerings, each carefully crafted, fresh and bringing new flavors to old classics: cheeseburger and hummus plate. I added the mushrooms, a bag of berbere seasoned chips and was totally wowed. Missed the chance to take a picture as we were immersed in the delicious flavors.Helpful team, simple interesting decor.Great addition to the neighborhood-will be back to try more of the menu!

We ordered a pickup order (order was ready when picked up which is always nice) for za'atar dusted chicken tenders, lamb burger pita, and a side of spiced cauliflower with +pomegranate and herbs. Everything was excellent!! Definitely exceeded expectations in terms of flavor profiles. The lamb burger pita was 1000% the star of the show with a tomato jam inside that perfectly complimented the pickled veggies and meat. We're definitely going to crave it regularly. The well seasoned and crispy chicken tenders were great, too! The sauce (once again) stole the show. The cauliflower was also good, though was outshined by the two other items we ordered. I would've loved a fruity sauce on it to enhance the pomegranates in it and balance the spice. The portion was also very generous for $9. Although it was just a pickup order, the inside of the restaurant was beyond cute. From the blush colored bench seating to the soft green ceiling and light wood accents, I would love to spend my lunch hour eating here every week if I could!

I stopped by on a whim one morning on my way to work and the morning bun changed my life. Everything I've tried since, be it savory or sweet, has also been exceptional. Beautiful space, as well. It worries me that I never see any other customers there. Definitely give Amba a try-- it's a stand-out even for Cambridge.
