I am astounded to see so many bad reviews! We have been going to this place (since it's near our house) for about four -- maybe more -- years. We have met different friends there many times, and all have been as happy as we are. We've celebrated birthdays here. One time, the music was very loud, so we just went down the street. Another time, someone played something on the jukebox, so we were introduced to a new favorite artist. The waitresses are always helpful, and tolerant of my mangled Spanglish. Our biggest problem is pacing ourselves so we don't get burned out, by going too often. My favorite is the bacon wrapped shrimp, but I force myself to try other things; burnout avoidance, again. The ensalata drink is great.

Mixture of Salvadorian and Mexican dishes but I usually come here for the menudo. Probably one of the first places that I've been to that the menudo is real clean and doesn't have a smell to it. The broth is so good that I usually finish it all of it unlike all the other places I've been to there's not much flavor to the broth. The menudo they make here you can taste all the garlic that they put in it and it's really flavorful.I've also tried the pupusas which are good too but I always have to ask for the curtido which is like a spicy cole slaw that you eat with it. They think I don't know any better so they never bring it out. The barbacoa is nothing special and one time it was pretty dried out and hard. Breakfast tacos aren't anything special either. I ordered huevos con papas and it was pretty much all potatoes and hardly any eggs. If you don't tell them they will give you store bought flour tortillas instead of handmade too.

I really like the pupusas from here! Their food takes a while to come out... that's probably the only reason why I won't give them 5 stars. Their customer service is a bit, no so kind.

Visited this place on a lunch break by chance. The place itself is okay, nothing spectacular about it.I order a shrimp quesadilla, which i loved, and two chicken corn tacos.The chicken taco was horrible! They seemed thrown together to me.Considering the shrimp quesadilla was so good, I was totally surprised to have a taco of poor quality.The services was cool, but food alone has me not wanting to return. Step the food game up!

Do not go here unless you want to get sick they serve old food ...and I have a feeling they serve leftover I order some fried fish that came with a side of salad and tortilla my salad had rice I don't know from where and the salsa was bad like it smelled really bad ...

Watery salsa with not much more heat than ketchup.Enchiladas with insipid red sauce, stuffed with chopped beef of some kind, gristle and all.Tasteless rice.Liquid frijoles.All served on a room temperature plate (unlike the usual red-hot plate in a Mexican joint), so everything was cold before the meal was half over.And loud, irritating Spanish hip hop or rap or something playing.Should have gone across the street to Taco Bell. Better food for half the price.

Love their food, our waitress was new so service was a little slow and she seemed a little confused. This place was recommended by a friend and i fell in love. Our order was correct and they have $1 pupusas on Thursday which is GREAT! The ambiance is very upbeat aswell

I love this place i go every Thursday for Pupusas. Been going here for years now i lost count, great food and staff!

Don't eat here!! Food is reheated and not authentic!! Music was loud and the waitress was in a hurry. They don't have ground beef on the menu

I used to order the Parillada but they have increased the prices quite tremendously! I order pupusas now! Normally, I order 20-40 pupusas for a big family but sometimes the tortilla barely has any filling or it's not cooked completely! I think when they have to many orders they ration the portion of how much filling to add to the pupusas!
