Amarillo BBQ

We enjoyed our pulled pork sandos at Amarillo. The pork was flavorful and tender. We chose coleslaw & cornbread for our sides , which were also tasty (tho trying to spread cold honey butter on cold cornbread was a bit tricky, lol).The portions were decent, tho $17 seemed a little pricey for a pulled pork sando. Staff were super nice and service was fast.

It was Sunday at 4pm, most of the restaurants were closed in Duvall. After attempting to go to a few places and found out that they were all closed, we decided to give it a try for the first time.Service - 4.5/5. They were welcoming and friendly. Our dog had a blast! Ambiance - 3/5. Just wear casual clothes and be ready to sit on the dusty bench. Food - 4/5. Everything was surprisingly good! We'd come back here again.

We came here after pumpkin patching and it was the only thing around with high ratings and was open during that weird 3-4pm hour when most places close before dinner service.It's a no frills place with beer/cider and BBQ. I'm no connoisseur but the brisket was tender and the sauces were fun to have to try out! Not crazy big so but we were able to find enough tables for our large group.

If you are not very hungry and willing to wait a long time. Then this is the place to go.

Overall very happy with everything. We ordered 2 brisket sandwiches which were very tasty. Brisket was delicious and beef/bbq sauce/bun ratio was perfect. We also ordered some sliced turkey which may be a new menu item and it was delicious. Next time I will get a turkey sandwich. Generous portions for the sides. Interior is cozy, clean and nicely decorated. Only minor gripe is sandwich size. I wish it was a bit bigger but this is a universal complaint to every restaurant I go to anymore. I will definitely be back to try some more stuff.

My wife & I met our friends here yesterday and it was awesome! We sat on the deck and the weather was perfect. The baby back ribs were okay, but the 1/2 pound of Beef Brisket were amazing! We ordered it "fatty" not lean (that's not on the menu).The cornbread and butter-honey was off the hook. The Texas corn was a YES for me! I also loved the Mac & Cheese. It had a nice little spicy kick to it! 3 great beers on tap and simple wine choices made it a perfect day.Oh... and the service was top notch especially considering how busy they were.

Yummy. We've been coming here since a couple of weeks after the opened. I think it gets better. They didn't have the whole menu at the beginning. But then, the service improved. They are very patient, always with a smile, and very attentive. Food arrives in some minutes. When you are finished, toss everything in the garbage bin near the outside entrance. Very nice to visit them during summer so you can enjoy of their patio tables. But they get busy fast. What I would recommend is to try first their 3 options of sauces (sweet, regular, spicy). Because they will give you plenty and it is a shame to waste too many if you prefer one only.

Now here is something that is sorely lacking around Western Washington, good BBQ. The BBQ here is hands down the best I've had in the state. From the corned beef to their wagyu burger, there is not one bad thing to get on this menu!And what is good BBQ without good sides? I wouldn't know because Amarillo has some of the most amazing sides. The place is small, but has enough seating to fit around 20 or so people. The people that run it are extremely friendly and super welcoming, just like a BBQ place should beOverall, you need to try this place out now. You won't regret it, unless they run out of your favorite dish :)

Food was decent. A bit over priced for what you're getting in my opinion. Both sweet and the spicy bbq sauce was good potato salad was average had odd seasonings I wasn't used to or prefer.

Very much the bare minimum you could expect of bbq. No standout flavors or seasoning or tenderness. Wait was over 35 minutes, heavily understaffed. The Texas style side for the bbq was 3 slices of plain like out of the bag 99 cent white bread, onions, and no pickles, which was the only part I wanted anyways. The bbq sauces were all sad :( Meat was also very cold. And pretty dry. Oh and really expensive even for bbq. The sides were pretty good. Also super cold. Servings sizes bottom of avg for value.
