This review is from my UberEats Order. One thing I appreciated was that I called before hand and included in my note to ask for gobi pakora in my veg mixed platter appetizer and they graciously did so! The price to portions is great. I highly recommend the mixed bread basket you get three types for a great price and it's large pieces nicely sliced in half and arrives hot. I got the mixed veg and non veg appetizers and they do not cheap out! Two samosas plus two of variety of atleast 4 types of appetizers in each! My butter chicken was perfectly buttery creamy. I loved how warm everything was and packed with love and plenty of onion chutney and tamarind sauce. My favorite item was the chicken naan! WOW game changer. Support small local businesses, this is also the Union pizza house or something, they cook both pizza and Indian food!

Ordered from here through Grubhub. Had a little trouble finding the place as they had no sign indicating "Aman Palace" and called them to verify we were at the right spot. They were helpful and friendly. Food was ready quick and food was still hot by the time we got home. My chicken tikka masala had quality chicken and was flavorful. What more can you ask for? Support small businesses during this difficult time! :)

Just ordered take out from this place. Got the non vegetarian platter. No idea why the reviews for here are low because this food is AMAZING. Know that you're getting food that is super rich. But if you feel like indulging - this is it. The chicken tikka uses coconut milk or something that makes it sweet and creamy. Naan has some butter on it. Very soft.

The place is inside a pizza shop. Super friendly staff, the man who assisted greeted me with a smile and ensured my order is correct. The food was prepared well before my pick up time and it was delicious! The chicken and lamb were large brick sizes, I definitely had left overs. Thanks for the great service and food, will order from this family establishment again!

One of my favorites, and I've tried a lot of Indian/South Asian restaurants over the past year. The food is fresh and flavorful (I'm a fan of the lamb patiala and the channa saag, but everything I've eaten has been quite good). Delivery is fast - sooner than promised - and it arrived hot. Highly recommended.

As much as I wish I could say otherwise, the food here was really subpar. It almost seems due to lack of experience. The samosas were under-spiced, the onion chutney was sickly sweet, the saag paneer was somewhat bland, and the shahi paneer korma frankly tasted like nacho cheese. This is probably one of the worst Indian food experiences I have had in Somerville.UPDATE: Indigestion and heartburn all night. Not worth it!

After a particularly salty experience with my usual Indian takeout place, I couldn't bring myself to look at their menu without craving a gallon of water. My thirst for Indian food, however, apparently cannot be quenched, thus my mission for a new go-to spot materialized. Shamefully, I order the same thing every time and simply wanted a place that served these things, along with Coca Cola. Don't judge.Having ordered from Aman a couple of times, and intending to continue ordering from them, there a few things to be noted:-The delivery is quick. I usually order through Foodler and it always comes in 45 minutes or less. And everything arrives piping hot!-The vegetable samosas are fantastic. Crispy, not oily, with a nice little kick to the flavor. Not spicy...just pleasantly far from bland.-The chicken saag is excellent. It's on the spicy side, the chicken is not chewy, the portion is enough for 2-3 meals and it's $11. Yes, please. And now for the only, but admittedly very big, draw back:-Their naan is consistently lacking. It's thin, it's flavorless and it's stale. No fluffiness to be found. If you order garlic naan, don't expect any garlic.Despite the not-awesome naan, Aman is now officially in my takeout rotation, replacing my usual spot for the time being, with a less-salty, cheaper and often quicker option for Indian.

Upping the rating. The food is fabulously good and arrives usually before the estimated delivery time. Suggest the chicken tikka, it is perfection. Highly recommend!

The food itself was ok, granted I only got the vegetable samosas because I had no idea they had such an expansive menu! The samosas were pretty big and the outside was a little more doughy than what I'm used to. The guy fried up a new batch as I ordered so they were crispy on the outside and warm inside. The chutneys he gave me weren't the usual green and brown/red one but instead an onion relish and a sweeter red chutney. The guy suggested that I mix the two, and that was good but nothing crazy. The man working there was very nice! I want to come back again for everything else on the menu! Warning: the outside of this place says "union square pizza" but don't be deterred, they have pizza AND Indian food
